The foreman told us that it was about a $300 job. When the estimate came in, they wanted to charge us $1,000. The project manager did not tell me that there was a minimum fee of $1,000. That would have made a difference in our opinion of the company initially. We ended up choosing another company but would consider them for a larger job in the future.

Yarin, my sales rep, was very responsive and hands-on. He checked-in frequently and always maintained the attitude that my satisfaction as a customer was paramount.

His workers did a great job and were equally attentive to my requests for minor changes while the project (pavers and turf installation on our patio) while in-progress.

I was hoping this was a one off experience, but some other reviews share mine.

A contractor came by for an estimate a few months back. I immediately felt as if he thought I was a gullible target, because I'm a woman. I wanted a few simple upgrades to the home, but instead he kept repeatedly suggesting very expensive, excessive, and unnecessary work. The biggest red flag was when he said, ""You can always finance."" Hahaha. If you have to finance, you shouldn't proceed with a project unless needed and none of what was pushed was needed. When the estimate came back for just ONE thing I had wanted fixed, it was close to 10k. A local company (EcoSmart is not local) that is trusted quoted me ~$2500, and the result was wonderful. They actually listened to me and didn't cut me off to push a sales pitch. Go with your gut.

Booked for a quote for Sunday, got a call saying someone got sick and if we can reschedule, no problem I have Wednesday off too, rescheduled for Wednesday at 11am-1pm window, got another call the next day asking to push it to 12pm-2pm window. Okay, no problem I can accommodate. I just got another call, it's 1:23pm an hour and 23 minutes into my window from Kenny asking yet again for me to reschedule due to a family emergency. I understand, but if my time and accommodation isn't taken into consideration, I will not do business with these people or this company.


Update: These people actually had the audacity to send someone to my HOME trying to get me to remove this review. I've been told by 2 different people (Both Kenny and Mor) that this honest unbiased review directly impacts their income and if they feed their children or not. If a single review effects if you feed your children or not, that sounds like you need to work for a company that supports their employees. I don't appreciate being harassed, solicited, bribed or blamed for being the reason someone dosen't feed their children. I want who ever is reading this to know, I will file a formal complaint with the police department if I ever feel threatened by unsolicited visits to my home again.

I called and scheduled an appointment with Ecosmart Development & Construction to have our roof inspected just to ensure everything looked good and no repairs are needed. Elija showed up on time and did our inspection. He was genuine and didn't try and sell us something we didn't need (which is unheard of these days). If you are looking for an honest company that won't try and pull the wool over your eyes, call them!
