Whether you are going to remodel your home, or build it from the ground up, you should consider Ecosmart Development & Construction. Working with Hanan and his team on our remodel was delightful. Yes you read that right, working with a contractor on a construction project in Los Angeles was an absolute delight. The craftsmanship is high-quality, the process was extraordinary, well managed and the communication was continuous. Our down to the studs remodel was completed on time and on budget and we couldn't be happier with the results! I attribute this to the culture of his team, relationships to vendors and crafts, people, weekly (sometime more) communication with us, the delayed estimates, expert projects, planning, and the ability to manage the unexpected things that come up. After we finished a previous project, I swore I would never embark on another large construction endeavor, but the prospect of working with Ecosmart development and construction again has me reconsidering!

We had a major home remodeling project in mind which would remove walls and greatly expand our kitchen creating an open floor plan design. We interviewed 5 companies for the project and chose Ecosmart Development & Construction based on their positive reviews and their project pictures. All the necessary resources are available through and managed by Ecosmart Development & Construction. Ecosmart received the business based primarily on Elija's, our Project Manager, to provide some creative ideas, his ""can-do"" attitude and his attentiveness.

Ecosmart Development worked extremely efficiently during all phases of the project. They maintained a very clean job site and worked to a tight schedule. Over the course of the 3-month project, there were only a handful of days when their team members were not on the jobsite, most of which were due to building inspectors' schedules.

As with all major projects of this nature, there are always unexpected issues that arise. Elija was particularly adept at resolving issues very quickly to our satisfaction. Often times, he suggested better solutions that exceeded our expectations. In addition, the communication by Elija was very timely and comprehensive providing us with daily updates of progress including pictures and videos.

We are delighted with the results of Elija and the Ecosmart Development & Construction Team We would strongly recommend them for all types of remodeling projects!

Ecosmart Development & Construction was perfect. I have had bad experiences in the past and they restored my confidence in contractors. Ben was the project manager and he supported me through the entire process including design, choosing materials and through construction completion. I never doubted the project would be completed within my specifications and indeed it was. The foreman Danny was personable and caring. The whole experience was great. We love our new kitchen! Kanan with Ecosmart Development & Construction was absolutely incredible. Not only was he an expert in his field but he was absolute pleasure to work with. We had unfortunately fired our PREVIOUS contractor and we're looking for a top notch team to worth it to finish up our back yard. Kanan and the Ecosmart Development team went well beyond our HIGH expectations.

Kanan helped most with our plant selection, large cinder block planters, and lighting.
He communicated updates to us and was very open about when additional work was needed or if we needed to make adjustments to plans or timing. We trusted him to provide his expert opinion and bring in other experts whenever needed.

I couldn't imagine my backyard without working with Ecosmart Development & Construction!

I worked with Kanan for about a year on my new home that I purchased. The home I purchased was a fixer upper and I didn't know much about construction. Luckily that's where Kanan came in and explained everything to me and was so entirely helpful. He is known in the Los Angeles Area as someone that is professional. He definitely exceeds and goes the extra mile for his customers. I don't normally post reviews for people but after the amazing job he did for me at my property I feel like he deserves every word written in this review. Kanan and his crew completed a full home renovation in a 2 story property which included kitchen renovation with a lot of electrical and plumbing relocations and 2 bathroom renovations. He even installed for me a Tesla car charger. From demo to final touches, the team took great care of my home. I am beyond thrilled at the final product and would hire Ecosmart Development & Construction for our next remodel needs! And of course I 100% recommend to anyone looking to do construction work at their property!!

We interviewed a lot of construction companies to do our kitchen remodeling and after meeting Kanan our project manager, we knew who we want to work with.
From the beginning he displayed patience,organization, support and understanding.
What happened once the construction began really blew our minds, communication was constant, check ins was regular and we had a million questions and Kanan always answered quickly.

My driveway was in terrible shape. Lots of cracks, and very uneven. I met with Nathan and i decided to move forward with Ecosmart Development & Construction. Throughout the project, Nathan maintained excellent communication, keeping me informed of the progress and promptly addressing any questions and concerns. Their respect for my property was remarkable, as they ensured a clean worksite and minimized disruption to the surrounding areas.
As always, some issues popped up but Nathan took care of everything with no delay. The project was finished on time and i couldn't be happier.

We worked with Nathan last year when we remodeled our bathroom. It was very badly in need of repairs and decades old. From the moment we met him, he was diligent in taking measurements, photographing the space, asking us questions, and listening to what our needs were. His draft proposal turnaround was fast and he even modified it quickly after I noticed an item was missing. He was very helpful in guiding us in what to splurge on and where we could save money.
