I had the pleasure of contracting with Alex for my recent roofing job. Due to all the recent rain dumped in Southern California and my roof being probably over 30 years old, I needed a full remove and replacement job. Some of the old shingles tore off during recent high winds and my roof looked like a mess. When a shingles landed into my neighbors yard and he told me that I probably should get a new roof, I figured it was time. I contacted several roofing companies but Alex convinced me that his offer was very competitive. He even offered to throw away a pick up truck full of some recent renovation waste which I had collected in my backyard over the last month. Alex offered me a competitor price for the job, which consisted of a full removal of my old shingles, city inspection, and installation of new shingles. Alex's guys came and performed the job in a total of 3.5 days on a 3,000 square foot roof. One day for removal, one day for inspection, then 1.5 days for installation. The entire work was done while I was all work and when I came home to see the finished product, I was very satisfied. It was well done.

Overall I am very satisfied with the job performed by his team and would highly recommend Economy Roofing for your roofing needs.

Alex said he would do a 1x40' Spanish Tile staggered roofing job for a range of $1800-2500. I said fine, when can you come out to take a look at the job. He was like, it's been raining a lot we don't need to take a look, that's the price, but it depends of if your tiles break during removal; then add more for materials. I said okay; can you send the estimate. He gave me attitude when I asked for a written estimate ... um.. wtf?! I was VERY thrown off by his response and said, ""you know... it's pretty standard to have a WRITTEN ESTIMATE for a bid"" LOOOOL He gave me even more attitude but still said he would email it to me.... that was 2/4/2019 -_- It's always a baaaad sign when a contractor doesn't want to put things in writing

We had a sudden roof leak, (in California?) yes it was raining one day and a puddle appeared in the house. Took a chance on this contractor, so glad I did. Had tried a few others and they couldn't come right away because they were all tied up with customers after the rain. So I spoke to Alex and he was here within an hour to asses the damage. He promptly figured out where the leak was and made an appointment to have a crew come out by Monday, which was perfect. Once his crew arrived, they were very professional and respectful, finished the job in one day without inconveniencing us whatsoever. Price was very reasonable too. Repairs come with a 1 year warranty. Hope I don't have to, but if I need a roofer again will call Alex for sure.

I went on Angie's List looking for a roofer. Economy Roofing came up but to my dismay it said serving La Habra and the surrounding areas. well I live in Long Beach so I didn't think they would come out this way but as luck would have it he said they did. I sent him pictures of my roof and we scheduled a date and time. The appointment was scheduled for 9 but he and his men arrived at 8:20. That was impressive. The one thing was that he did not introduce himself off the bat and I had to ask him if he was Alex the person that I was speaking to on Saturday. he and his men were quick and efficient and afterwards showed me a video of my roof And sent me pictures at my request. The only faux pas was that my job was 3200 and his reader card can only accept 2,500. I wasn't prepared for that. luckily I was able to do the rest for cash and a check. I highly recommend this company and I am also grateful for them being able to come out and service my roof before the rains hit again.
