Paul and Company did a great job from start to finish. During the initial quote consultation, he made my wife and myself aware of all the work involved for a maintenance job. We have a Spanish Style tile roof which presented leaks in some areas in our home, particularly the dry wall. They also pointed out wood that had rotted and been eaten by termites in certain parts of our roof. The carpenter he had was awesome in dealing with those repairs. This has jump started us to begin the quote process in getting our roof tented now for termites. All in all, we are greatly satisfied with the work/help they have done for us.

Our re-roofing project presented many unique challenges (123 year old, Craftsman Palo Alto home with ""cut-up/steep"" roof) but Paul and his team proved more than up to the task. I've owned three houses with 2 of them being in much harsher climates than San Jose. In our purchase of our new home we had a roof report from another company. I got a reference from a friend for Economy roofing and gave them a call. Paul came by a few days later and did an inspection on the roof. He gave the roof a thorough inspection, took pictures of the roof as well as the areas he felt may be problems.

Paul followed up shortly with another in person meeting with the estimate. He provided multiple options on our roof including the possibility of a repair that we asked for.

We decided to go with a full replacement and scheduled with Paul. It was due to rain in the next few days and he took the time to go back up on the roof to do a temporary patch on one of the problem areas so it would hold us over a few weeks until we were scheduled.

Paul then, followed up again in person with samples for the shingles so we could pick a color.

On our scheduled day Paul's workers showed up on time and began to work. I'm used to a huge amount of people showing up to do the roof and everything moving at the speed of light. Paul's crew took their time to make sure they were doing everything at the highest quality.

The areas of concern we were notified before the roof was replaced were indeed problem areas. Paul again took pictures and communicated the options. He followed up with a a detailed change order for the structural repair work needed.

Paul and his crew did extremely good work. The roof was not just slapped on. Paul's crew took extra time to make sure they did everything correct. The underlayment and installation method was top notch and should withstand conditions much worse than what San Jose has to offer.

Roofing is something that is only as good as the installation and we have every confidence in Paul and his team that this roof will last us a very long time.

I would not hesitate to refer Paul and Economy roofing to friends.

Paul and his crew did my roof in August 2016.
He stuck to his quoted price and did an extraordinary job.

A number of companies I called wouldn't touch a roof with less than a 1:12 slope.
I had to find a company that does what is called ""single ply"" and that is the white PVC or TPO type of roofing you often see on flat commercial buildings. Not a lot of places are qualified or trained and educated to do these materials because it's an investment to get obtain these skills so that the manufacturers can warranty their product. Economy has made these investments into equipment and training for his crew.

Paul explained and educated me about my job from the start, he was present when necessary, and always quickly responsive if I had to reach him for questions or issues to resolve. I never thought I'd actually ""love a roof"" but I really do love mine now.

The crew Paul has working for him have been long term and skilled people. I was impressed by the extra care they took and the extra efforts they put into every little detail .
They started the day early, worked full long days, and stuck with it till completion on time and budget. They were happy to accommodate my change orders such as adding a few extra skylights even if I didn't ask them when the timing would have been best. They helped me save on my budget by salvaging and reinstalling my old gutters that were in good condition, and letting me do some store runs and supply shopping myself.

I had taken a half dozen quotes before I chose Economy roofing, and Paul's pricing was second to the lowest, the lowest being a type of roofing I really didn't want (torch down).
But the reason I chose Economy roofing was Paul himself. Above all the others, I felt that Paul really made me understand what they were going to do and all the options I had to choose from. I really like his approach to make sure both parties would be happy in the end.

So if price is the most important factor you should choose Economy Roofing, if quality and honesty and integrity are the most important factor, you should choose Economy Roofing, or if you want to feel really good about the job you're getting, for sure choose them.

Thank you Paul, Juan and Roque! You are all extraordinary and I can and I will recommend you to anyone, even my fussiest friends who I wouldn't dare recommend anything to.

I note that the one star reviews are from people who didn't even have Paul do their job, so their comments should be taken with a grain of salt.. I'm really glad I didn't listen to their complaints, I know Paul asked me a bunch of questions too, but that's why I got the job done they way ""I wanted"" after being educated, considering all of the options Paul explained to me.

I recently purchased a house and needed to ensure the roof was weather proofed prior to the El Nino winter stepping in. I'm so glad I called Economy Roofing. Paul was able to schedule me in quickly and found a section of the roof that was exposed and needed repair right away. He performed the regular maintenance to the sealants and flashings and I then gave me a heads up about some of the fascia that I need to keep an eye on for replacement. Paul and his team were professional and easy to work with. I would certainly use him again!

I had Paul from Economy roofing to my house, and he spent several hours looking at the house, and asking me a lot of detailed questions (many seemingly unrelated to the roofing). He was going to send a quote, and promised me he would send it 3 times and never sent it. It's been four weeks and I still haven't heard from him. I'm sorry that I wasted my time with someone who didn't fulfill their committment to send a quote.
