Honest Roofers, terrific contractors and mega advanced inspectors. It's hard to explain this business and capture the flavour correctly, sort of like its hard to describe the new car smell. From the beginning to the end of the process they had multiple opportunities to overcharge us, but they didn't, I messaged the business on multiple occasions even before the paid inspection and probably wasted an hour of their time asking silly questions but they were patient and responded to every concern I had with dignity and respect. I wasn't fooled, I wasn't made fun of and I wasn't scammed even though they had the upper hand every step of the way. We had a situation which was hard to digest and explain, multiple contractors left us hanging prior to Eco Smart Roofers and they took all of that negativity and turned it into a lemonade. I believe that someone deep inside the company there is someone that truly believes in karma, someone that trains every single person there to respect client's time and clients property, someone who programmed everyone from inspectors to workers to treat clients exactly the way they want to be treated. I'm not going to talk about the inspection and the project as they were fabulous with no additional comments, I want to turn your attention to little details that mattered to me the most and said everything there is to say about the vendor. Walking inside your home with shoe covers, inspecting with gloves on, helping you drive out of your garage safely, making sure your garbage cans are nicely rolled away on garbage day, reminding your neighbors about street cleaning, making your neighbors happy by cleaning beyond what's expected, reminding you to close the garage door, checking and making sure you get in and out of the home safely on demolition day, providing you with 200+ Instagram quality photos of the roofing project using cloud, taking care of every little aspect of the project seamlessly, playing with your dog or cat, always smiling, always willing to jump into action. These are the details that matter to me the most and this vendor over performed anyone and everyone we ever dealt with.

These guys did an amazing job with our roof and got it done so quickly! They cleaned up thoroughly every day as they worked.

They also give you an extra little surprise when you work them.

They are a little pricier than other roofers out there, but they are well worth it for the quality and level of service that you receive.

Had a incident with water leaks in the living room since 2 nights, it started with the rains and led me to believe it was the roof, reaching out to Erast/Erik and his team, I got immediate help to explore a few possible root causes, until a roofing contractor would come out. Erast was very kind and helpful in triaging the issue, since it turned out not to be a roofing issue, but a drainage or some other cause as water continued to drip even after 24 hrs post rain stopped. He was gracious to stop by at the place amidst his busy schedule and hint at possible sprinkler systems been the culprit and advised to immediately call the fire dept. It worked, it was infact the sprinklers, it was a nightmare to diagnose the root cause, super glad this team came by and helped us. thanks again Erast. best wishes from our end. Erast is awesome! We panicked on Christmas because we had rain coming through the ceiling of our newly purchased home. He went way above and beyond, digging up the building permits of the renovation on our house to find the original contractor (including name and phone number), advising us on how to work with contractors on the repair, and next steps. He did all of this without us paying him a dime! I highly recommend working with Erast, it's such a nice feeling to have an honest, helpful company that legitimately cares about people being taken care of. I've never had this level of support from a construction company. Thanks!

Having worked with multiple roofing and General contractors in the past I can testify that there is really no comparison, one can talk for hours how their work shines are n attention to detail, safety and compatibility to your building's unique specifications. These are obscessive guys that truly specialize on premium installs, they are not the right choice for someone who wants a cheap, fast installation, there are many contractors that will do that around Bay Area, not these folks. For me, putting all aside, the most important item is their service, the attentive, unique and obscessive service that they provide to all of their clients after replacement, ED was always there when I called and someone always guided me through all of my questions - I ask a lot and expect a lot especially when I pay premium. Premium contractor, roofer and inspector is what they are, I'm also into deep research of everyone I work with and I know for certain that a contractor that charges $600 to come and inspect your building prior to giving you any proposals for repairs with a waiting period of 2-3 weeks at any given moment is not going out of business any time soon.

It's an awesome little company that has a verity of services every serious homeowner needs, all starts with the initial inspection of the exterior building envelope which in our case included exterior walls, windows, fascia, trims, casings and doors, inspector followed with a complete moisture mapping of interior spaces where all elevated moisture readings were recorded, roof came last. We paid close to $600 for the inspection and in 3 days got a full blown, modern looking report that could be viewed online or saved as pdf. We spent a good two hours going through details of document and everything was very easy to understand. Report contained the proposal for repairs and after a quick glance we decided to go with it. Crew arrived in new, marked trucks, there were orange cones everywhere and traffic on our busy street was directed cautiously and precisely by two crew members, repair took three days and the site was left spotless. Our neighbors loved the contractor and I'm sure they will be calling Eco Smart as well in nearest future. Hire them if you just don't want to worry

It was complex from beginning to end but Eco Smart made it look and feel easy. Ended up finding out that we had 5 layers of rooming sandwiched one on top of another, it was a nightmare that leaked slowly, in different places. Contractors were unable to figure out the issue as we had plywood installed underneath top layer of roofing which made it look straight. Eco Smart used scanners and removed flashings in few places to understand the nature of the ""sandwich"" we had instead of the roof. We obviously contracted with them for the replacement but another surprise has been waiting for us right outside - tall building with the need of scaffolding or a crane only issue was that scaffolding would not be permitted due to high voltage lines and cranes or delivery trucks would not fit on our steeet due to low hanging electrical wires. We entertained the idea of the boom or scissor lift but due to the fact that our home is on the slope, it would not work.

So the crew brought the materials on trucks and hauled it away while bringing it through the living space which we understood was a nightmare for the crew but pretty easygoing for us, it sure took a long time (two weeks) for the replacement but the space was clean every day and except for constant banging we had no complains. Beautiful and respectful crew and superior management.

Great roofing contractor that provides valuable inspection services. We hired them for the inspection of our building' exterior, envelope, and were surprised at the professionalism of the inspection. We figured out exactly what we needed to know, for our buildings' 5 year HOA study. Great value for the money. Erast was very knowledgeable and recommendations were digested into understandable and simple formats. He provided a few versions of the report, which included inline and PDF formats. Great roofer.

We never had a contractor as professional and unique as Eco Smart, their replacement of our roof is gorgeous and unique. We have an old Edwardian and needed someone who appreciates the uniqueness of the building and the character behind every wood trim and casing, behind balustrade, plaster caps and baluster, these guys are it. They came in and professionally inspected the building, gave us a quote for replacement and few material options, we went with TPO for the main roof and copper farm style roof for front upper cap. The work is beautiful and the drone photos they take are professional grade HD shots. We recommend them 100%

This review is my experience with Eco Smart ""prior"" the work; as many of you, even after research on line, I was left with tons of questions with the roof project, and many businesses are not that friendly in terms of spending time answering those questions. Erast not only took the time to answer but also walked me through many points that would save me months of time and cost down the road. By walking me through and providing me insights, it also shows how knowledgable and professional they are in the field. I would definitely put them as my first choice once I have my plan laid down and budget saved.
