I had a really bad experience with a previous contractor and I was really dreading the repairs my house required last fall. The roof needed replacement, the balcony was actively leaking, and there was dry rot in several areas of the house. Since I already needed so much exterior work done, it seemed like a good time to add solar panels and have the entire house repainted as well.

Armand and the multiple crews he had work on my house did an *amazing* job, and they were pleasant to have around. Armand was very responsive to my questions and requests and gave useful advice. He was patient with me when I panicked, and he did everything he could to make the whole experience as stress free as possible. He coordinated with my solar panel installers to make sure everything went smoothly and the timing of the roof installation worked out, and he rushed to get my balconies waterproofed before it started raining. They used high quality materials, were up to date on the latest techniques and tools, and paid great attention to detail. I could tell they really cared about their work, and my neighbors have all complemented me on how nice the paint job looks.

I can finally sleep easy without having to worry about more leaks and dry rot!

Construction and repairs are never fun - but I will actually miss having these folks around. They are kind, patient, and made friends with all of our neighbors.

Their work is high quality with incredible attention to detail. They did a lot of different things for us. They re-roofed, repaired our water damaged decks and the ceilings and walls underneath them, reinstalled windows that had been improperly installed before, sealed all the exteriors seams, and repainted the house. Everything is solid and beautifully done. The house is now so gorgeous we've caught people taking selfies in front of it!

I don't ever want to need a contractor again, but if I did these would be the first people I call. I wouldn't hesitate to work with them again.

A good contractor is like a good boyfriend in San Francisco - hard to find. It's ironic because if you have a good boyfriend, you probably don't need a good contractor. Well, I have found one for you and me! No, not a good boyfriend, I'm still working on that.

When my aunt and uncle needed to fix their roof deck, I called around to find someone who'd be able to handle the job themselves instead of having to hire a roofer and carpenter separately. One job = one warranty and service = one person for my aunt and uncle to call/pester re: the warranty and service if anything went downhill (and I did not want to be the person they called). I found Eco Smart for them and my aunt and uncle were impressed with Erast since he was able to explain to them why a tiled deck would not be a good choice for their place. They decided to move forward with a membrane replacement and floating deck install and Eco Smart finished the job within 7 days. Erast and Christian did a great job putting in a new membrane, completing the repairs, and sealing the deck with a stain of my uncle and aunt's choosing. It was like Creation but with a deck.

So I haven't found a good boyfriend for you (or me) but I have found a good roof and deck contractor for you. I'm hoping you can return the favor and find me a good boyfriend.

EcoSmart just completed extensive work on the front of our house to replace boards that had dry rot and paint the boards they replaced. They also put a protective covering under the boards that didn't have it. We appreciated the quality of their work and their attention to detail. The house looks great, and we feel protected against moisture for many years to come.

I have been extremely pleased with EcoSmart. Erik and his team were extremely patient and accommodating in answering all of my questions and then scheduled the work to ensure that they could reroof my house before the recent storms hit. I am very happy with their patience, thoroughness, and follow-through and highly recommend them.

I am a first time homeowner and the skylights in my house are drafty and leaky. I brought Erik in to inspect them as well as the roof because at the time of purchase the owner disclosure indicated the roof was fifteen years old but the home inspector thought it looked newer. After the inspection, Erik provided me with a thorough report which indicated that the roof had been patched, which might explain the discrepancy. Erik provided me with two options for repairs and over the next week promptly and patiently answered all my questions. After I decided to go ahead with replacing the entire roof, he scheduled the work so that it would be complete before the storm. I was happy with work and they left the place spotless. There was some torch damage to a molding near the skylight and they repainted that. They even resealed the aging skylights as a stopgap while we wait for new ones to come in.

I am very satisfied with the service they provided and although at first I did have sticker shock, I can say that it was worth it given the quality of their work and their client-oriented service!

In the rainiest of Januarys, the roof on our 1925 SF home sprung a robust leak. Water found its way into the walls, and we needed a roofing pro, fast--not such an easy thing when so many SF roofing companies were booked solid. EcoSmart came highly recommended by a realtor friend, and although I was discouraged, convinced they'd be way too busy to handle another job, less than 5 minutes after I left a message, Armand called back. He was kindness itself, professional, and a world-class listener. A couple of weeks later, during a break in the weather, EcoSmart put on our brand new roof. It's unbelievably rare, that genuine concern and serious commitment to mind-blowing customer care. Lots of companies say they do it. But EcoSmart really does. And the work quality, of course, is matchless. Can't imagine working with any other roofing company.

We cannot give enough stars to this incredible company! Erik and his staff Christian truly are the most reliable, professional and hard working team around! We used EcoSmart Builder for the waterproofing of our 1905 home. Our basement started flooding after all of the rain and EcoSmart Builder had the solution. They worked diligently to address the leaking concrete, patch and pour new concrete and waterproof and crystallize our entire basement. Over the last two months, even after tons of rain, our basement is COMPLETELY DRY!!! We are thrilled with the work! Thank you EcoSmart! We will be using you for many projects in the future!

We were looking for a competent deck installer that would do a very good job on our roof deck and that had experience working with mahogany.

It was very important to us to get someone who was equally qualified and responsible as we just had a new roof put on by Eco Smart Roofer.

This is a sister company that specializes in construction remodels, decks and exterior upgrades. Guys came in and estimated the work, we got a proposal within two days and work was scheduled, they worked directly with The Decking Store in San Jose to figure out the material amount and organized a delivery, was a very pain free-experience and our deck is loved by entire family!

Highly recommend to anyone that needs a quality contractor!
