On December 14, 2017 Rest A Shored Properties, LLC purchased Designer Driftwood Vinyl Flooring by Tufdek, model number 25811, serial number 850599-4204 thru their AUTHORIZED Tufdek distributor, ECO Roofing and Windows LLC (ECO). The material we purchased can only be purchased thru and MUST be installed by AUTHORIZED Tufdek Dealer.
Unfortunately, ECO's installation was not done to factory specs/ installation instructions or per the contract ECO provided to Rest A Shored Properties to ""level as necessary"". As a result of the faulty installation, we have large pools of water collecting on all our balconies after a rain (greater than 60% of the balconies have standing water well past 72 hours). The balconies are not pitched at all to shed water as it clearly states in the installation instructions. All of the installations are back pitched to the building where water rests against the building and leaks. ECO has failed to resolve a legitimate installation problem or respond to multiple communication requests over the past 2 months for warranty work. Neither ECO Roofing nor Tufdek's parent company (Tuff Industries) will resolve this faulty installation.
We would HIGHLY recommend NOT using ECO Roofing and Windows LLC for any work. Scott, the owner representative has zero interest in addressing any problems. We have all documented evidence. While the Tufdek material appears to be decent quality, Tuff Industries will not stand behind any installation issue even though installation warranty is clearly published on their website and communicated by their representative(s).
