I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Eclipse Remodeling, Inc. My inquiry email was answered within 2 hours, fully addressing my specific questions and giving links to full disclosure of the company's accreditation, link to government bond, insurance information as well as links to yelp, Angie's, and Home Advisor.
The job entailed replacing five 20ft 6""x6"" exposed rafters that hold up a partial roof that extends off the main roof of my house. Prior estimates from other companies ranged from $3,500 to over $7,000. Some advised removing the extended roof while others advised the opposite excluded removing the extended roof. Udi, Eclipse Remodeling owner, immediately saw the potential for leaks which could be avoided only by a whole roof replacement. However, since the roof still has quite a bit of life left, he advised I hire a handyman that would attach sister boards to either sides of the existing rafters making them strong enough until the whole roof needs replacing, at which time the five rafters would be replaced. He strongly advised I ensure whoever does the job has both the B - General Building Contractor license and C39 Roofing License. It was news to me because I erroneously thought a roofing company has accreditation for both by default. Needless to say, I am very grateful for his generous advice, and will surely be hiring him in the future when the whole roof needs replacement.

We went with Eclipse to replace our roof because the reviews were good, and we weren't disappointed. They got back to us fast on the estimate, came back with a competitive price, and clearly knew their stuff when we spoke in person. After choosing them, they got to us even faster than they originally promised, and the whole project, from tear-down to inspection, approval and cleanup, were done in a week (including the day they lost because the first inspection was rescheduled). All-in-all, they did fantastic work on the roof, have a great warranty, and did everything by the book. Would definitely use again.

Udi is amazing to work with. His work is excellent and his prices are fair. He repaired my roof, but that's not all. Walls in my house needed paint from roof leaks. I called Udi. Plumbing in my kitchen sink was leaking. I called Udi. He replaced the plumbing and installed new tiling. I needed an AC/heating person. I called Udi. Don't call anyone else to fix your problems until you've called Udi first. He is my go-to for anything and everything. I can't believe I finally found someone to call when things in my house go wrong. One more time: call Udi first!

Eclipse remodeling did a great job with our roof in Woodland Hills. We were told recently that our homeowner's insurance required us to get a new roof very quickly, we called several people and had several estimates but we just didn't like most of the people who came to speak with us. When we met Udi, the owner of Eclipse, he was straightforward, made it clear exactly what would happen, how much it would cost and gave us the estimate very quickly.
We didn't have to sit through hours of selling in order to get the info we needed. The roofing was done quickly and professionally and we're very happy with the result, we highly recommend Eclipse and Udi.

I contacted Eclipse based on their overwhelming positive Yelp reviews and I couldn't be happier. We desperately needed our roof completely redone, and Udi and Eclipse did a wonderful job. Their sales person came and provided a thorough overview of the job, and provided a quote on the spot. He promised that there would not be a hard sales pitch (not even a follow-up call, which there wasn't), and a lot of honesty: he admitted that they wouldn't be the least expensive, but assured quality. He also explained things to look for when getting quotes from other vendors: Licensing Board details, homeadvisor reviews, worker's comp, etc. He encouraged getting other quotes from other vendors, almost expecting that they would not match Eclipse for quality. And he was right - other vendors arrived late, provided less information, started tacking on extras when they looked at the roof, and followed up with persistent hard sales calls. I also called five previous customers and received glowing reviews of Eclipse's performance. When we agreed to go with it, Udi the owner came by and talked through paperwork, and we settled on dates. His estimates were on target - the price never changed, and the work was done exactly within the time frame he provided (with room to spare). Every day, they thoroughly cleaned up all around our house, including the neighbor's driveway. They worked fast, and focused on quality. When I had a couple of questions after the work was done, Udi returned and personally went onto the roof to make sure everything was okay (which it was). I couldn't be happier with Eclipse. You will not be disappointed.

I didn't think I would ever describe a roof as ""pretty,"" but here I am - calling my new roof pretty. The attention to detail just blew my mind. The corners were tucked in, the flashing was perfect, and the vents he suggested fit the roof and the shape of my house perfectly. His crew arrived early each day, were very nice, and at the end of the day cleaned all of their work. Udi was always easy to reach, very communicative, and addressed any questions or concerns quickly. Also, no weird smarmy sales vibe. He came, provided his estimate, described in detail everything that was included, and kept his word on everything promised. They're not the least expensive - but seriously worth the little extra! (And bonus: my husband works weird hours and I was the one gathering estimates from all of the companies. He was one of the only ones that didn't insist on my husband being home and was happy to work with me. And no slimy up selling. He stayed on budget, I didn't get any weird calls later on telling me about a ""problem""). Highly, highly recommended!!
