My husband and I had a great experience with Udi and his team at Eclipse Remodeling. Udi explained the process to us from start to finish and was very proactive in helping to solve an issue with the overhang on our front porch and coming up with a great solution. He checked in several times a day and his team cleaned up at the end of each day. They left our yard area spotless when they were finished and they finished the job ahead of schedule--even when our neighborhood had a power outage! Absolutely considerate, friendly and VERY professional. Thanks Udi!

Great Communication with the owner himself Udi. He explained to us everything in great detail and also was very respectful due to the Covid-19 crisis when we asked if we can talk outside. He and his workers wore face masks the whole time and finished the roof in less time than anticipated. Would recommend to everyone. The roof is BEAUTIFUL. Just what we expected and more. there is a big reason why eclipse remodeling has only 5 star reviews. they just completed an incredible reroofing and insulation of my house. even the roofing inspector had several compliments. they were on time, did an impeccable job of cleaning up everyday and completed the entire project in one week. udi, the contractor and owner was very respecful, showing up everyday and constantly keeping in contact to make sure it was all going smoothly. my neighbors called him with heartfelt thanks for being so considerate. whooohooo

We were originally considering purchasing a solar roof, but after interviewing several roofers, we decided that it was too expensive, and, at our advanced age, we would never recoup our investment. We then began evaluating contractors who install regular roofs. Although his price was not the lowest, we were impressed with Udi's careful explanation of both the materials he uses and also the process. Udi said the job would take 3 days, and he could begin on a Tuesday with the demolition of the old roofs (there were three layers). When I explained that on Wednesday (the second day of the job) I would be conducting a lecture from home and that the construction noise would interfere, he quickly said that he would have the materials delivered on that day, and that his crew would install the new roof on Thursday.

On Tuesday Udi arrived along with his crew and supervised the beginning of the demo job. The men were here the better part of the day, working hard to tear off the old materials and clean up the mess. On Wednesday morning Udi called to let us know that there was a 5% chance of rain that night so he was going to send his crew over to cover the wood slats that would be exposed to the elements. We thought that was very considerate. And on Thursday, as promised, the installation occurred with Udi present at the beginning to get his crew started and at the end to make sure that the work was executed properly.

All in all we were pleased with Udi's honesty, flexibility, and excellent work.

My husband and I can't say enough about Udi, the owner of Eclipse Remodeling, and his character as a person. We were looking to re-do our entire roof, and looked on Yelp for some options. Udi did not pressure us like some roofers with an aggressive sales pitch. He thoroughly walked through the entire re-roofing process, including going into detail about the exact materials he will be using. Something, we realized from getting other quotes, not every roofer does.

We went ahead to move forward with Udi, including signing a contract and putting down a deposit. A day later, our financial situation suddenly changed; one of us lost our job because of the economic impact of Covid-19.

We called Udi and explained the situation, asking if we could temporarily pause the project, even though we were two days away from him starting. He was understanding of our tough situation. He did not charge us for the city permits he had already pulled and gave us back our deposit check. Once we're back on our feet we'll be going back to Udi to help finish the job we almost started.

You'll be in great hands if you go with Udi.

Very fast! Entire project was completed in two days! Price was reasonable for amount of work required! Our roof now has a warranty for as long as we own the house! None of the other roofers that we received quotes from offered a warranty as good as this!
Udi was very professional, he and his staff returned calls and texts promptly, showed up on time, his crew also showed up on time and they did a good job. I would not hesitate to recommend Eclipse Remodeling!

I found Eclipse right here on Yelp. I was researching roofers and found Eclipse because of its 5-star rating and many enthusiastic reviews. I submitted a request for a quote (awesome feature, Yelp!) and Udi, whose customer service skills were a prominent feature of the reviews, contacted me soon thereafter. When he and his associate, Karen, came to my house the following day, Udi explained his process and showed me the materials he uses. I had already met with other roofers and they had submitted bids that were mostly higher than Udi's (one was a few thousand lower), but none of them had included all the under layers that Udi included. I figured that they're all using about the same quality shingles that they all likely get from the same distributor, but I was sold by all the protective layers that Eclipse uses. And if you're going to pay this much for something, you want the peace of mind to know that it is an investment that is going to last for a long time.
On the day of the job, Udi's sizable crew showed up on time and promptly got to work. They nearly finished the job the first day, which was impressive. They returned the following day and finished the job around noon. Udi was there at the beginning and came by a few times during the job to make sure there weren't any problems. When the crew left at mid day on Wednesday, I walked across the street to look at my house and admire how beautiful and transformative the new roof was! Wow!
Both Udi and Karen have checked in with me since the job was completed and to make sure that I was satisfied. I am and I would highly recommend this company.

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Eclipse Remodeling, Inc. My inquiry email was answered within 2 hours, fully addressing my specific questions and giving links to full disclosure of the company's accreditation, link to government bond, insurance information as well as links to yelp, Angie's, and Home Advisor.
The job entailed replacing five 20ft 6""x6"" exposed rafters that hold up a partial roof that extends off the main roof of my house. Prior estimates from other companies ranged from $3,500 to over $7,000. Some advised removing the extended roof while others advised the opposite excluded removing the extended roof. Udi, Eclipse Remodeling owner, immediately saw the potential for leaks which could be avoided only by a whole roof replacement. However, since the roof still has quite a bit of life left, he advised I hire a handyman that would attach sister boards to either sides of the existing rafters making them strong enough until the whole roof needs replacing, at which time the five rafters would be replaced. He strongly advised I ensure whoever does the job has both the B - General Building Contractor license and C39 Roofing License. It was news to me because I erroneously thought a roofing company has accreditation for both by default. Needless to say, I am very grateful for his generous advice, and will surely be hiring him in the future when the whole roof needs replacement.
