It's a busy year for roofers. Almost every roofer has a waiting list. EC is worth the wait.

The 1st rain hit and a roof leak was discovered. We contacted a lot of roofers...some returned our calls and those that did were booked until the spring/summer. Two came out to give us an estimate, one of the two was Eric at EC Roofing. Eric saw the problem we were having and what was causing it (roof staples were popping up causing water to get into the roof). He said that he didn't want to see any further damage since he wouldn't be able to get to us in a couple of months. Not charging us, he went up and patched a lot of areas where the staples popped up in hopes that it would hold us off until we decided what bid we were going to place. Eric is a local, has his own business and has been in the business for a long time. Besides his professionalism, what got us is that he did repairs and it didn't matter if he had the bid or not; that is caring and putting others before yourself (a rarity in today's business world). We were so impressed with Eric that we cancelled the other roofers coming out for estimates and hired Eric. Since our roof was small and quick job, he slipped us in between some jobs and boom we have a new roof. Eric and his team are the ultimate professionals and the cost of getting a new roof was a lot less than what we expected and extremely fair. We found Eric and some of the other companies on Yelp.com and so glad our paths crossed. If you are looking for a roofer....Eric and his team are the best hands down.

Great experience dealing with Eric! He responded quickly and we made an appointment for an inspection. On the day of our appointment, he let me know in advance that he was running late which I appreciated! He looked at the roof, which turned out to be in semi decent shape except for one small area. Eric advised me what he thought needed to be done and provided a rough estimate of the work. He also upfront that he had a number of jobs already (no surprise) and would not have time to work on my roof. Eric took time to talk to me and provided suggestions on what I should do. Eric was able to schedule my roof inspection the same week I called...during the pre El Nino rush. He was punctual, came over and checked out the roof, then made the small repairs during the same visit. Other roofing companies wouldn't even schedule an inspection for 2 months.

I received a very good quote on new roofs for both our very large hall and our smaller Fellowship hall. Because we're a church, we decided to roof one this year, and the other in 2016. Eric's crew showed up on time, and were one squared-away crew. They made sure the work site was cleaned up every day. Their repairs and sealing were excellent and very reasonable. To my surprise, he actually offerred to take me up the roof and show me where it could be the problems. He told me exactly what and how to repair it with little time. Was on the search for a long time before I found this roofing company to do the job that I needed, not only was Eric the best priced offer he was very informative. When I was getting quotes a lot of companies just send sales people out, which they seemed more interested in the sale then getting a roof that was appropriate for me in the long run. Eric allowed me to pay for my materials out of my own pocket so I knew exactly how much the material cost and how much I was paying a labor. Eric and his team were quick professional and get the job done right, I have never been so happy with a contractor before. If you need anything done for your roof I was use him again in a heartbeat.

I was NOT looking forward to having my roof replaced! Just the thought of all the mess I would be dealing with for months to come, stressed me out. But I have to say, I was pleasantly surprised how fast and clean Eric's crew was. Every day after working in the hot sun they would clean up any debris that was left over. I can't say enough about Eric and his guys. They were awesome. We had unusual humid weather at the time the job was being done and suddenly it poured down rain for 2 days in the middle of July! David came over just to finish a section that needed to be protected from the rain. They still completed the job in less time than quoted. Price was reasonable and the work they did was right on point!! GOOD JOB GUYS!

My first request for contact and an estimate earned me a terse , ' we are busy through mid November'. While very brusque and a bit unprofessional it was I suppose honest. I replied that we were not in a hurry and would be happy to set a date for November .
This yielded a reply that he could come out and look at the roof on September 4th .
At 8:30 pm on the 3rd we got a phone call that he was just reviewing his schedule and realized he was meeting with an inspector at the time HE had scheduled with us so he couldn't meet and now he is busy through December so , ' you might be better to call someone else '.
Utterly irresponsible and rude but also rather funny.

So if you are looking for a roofer remember that he is too busy this year and don't waste his time.
