Hi I just want to say thanks to Mike Ortega and his crew. I live in a condo in little we had our roof patched a couple of years ago. There was a lifting after the insane weather we had last month. I got a small leak in my ceiling because of it. I first of all want to say there were no problems having someone touch up the roof and they honored their guarantee timely and with great communication. My ceiling had a bit of damage and they were so nice and understanding. They sent a couple of guys out to fix it and they were awesome and friendly! I just have to say during times like these where I'm sure all roofers were crazy busy everyone from the woman who answers the phone to the owner I was treated like their only client! Quick response with friendly warm people!! Thank you so much. It was no hassle job well done!

I live in a large HOA complex and this company was contracted with our board to do roof/rain gutter cleaning. Because of the sheer size of this community advance notice was needed to prep. Received a notice ( attached) in early Dec. that this would take place 12/8-12/9. Never happened. 12/27 rolls around and the company shows up unannounced and starts work. I come home from work 12/27 to find my patio trashed, covered with debris, dead shrubs leaves everywhere.... and my stainless steel bbq flipped over and destroyed. I document everything, make multiple calls to their office, send pics, emails, ect. I'm promised a return call and it never happens. Call back again, no return call. What garbage service. Apparently subs can show up unplanned, destroy your property, and don't take accountability for it. I have worked in and around the trades for over 20 years and this level of unaccountability and ignorance is what gives the construction industry a bad wrap.

I highly recommend EBR. They recently completed a new roof on our condo building. They were easy to communicate with, honest, punctual, and had fabulous follow-through. They worked well with a decking company that we had working simultaneously. I would absolutely recommend Eberhard Benton and I would absolutely hire them again.

We had a PVC roof put on our flat-roofed house 8 years ago by a company that didn't know what they were doing (I think it was their first PVC roof job). After numerous leaks, mold remediation, headaches, & thousands of dollars, we went in search of a new roofing co.

Mike Ortega, owner of Eberhard, was the only guy who followed up on my emails. He came out the next day & gave us a report on the state of our roof, which wasn't good. He detailed the 3 work needed on the the 3 areas of our roof, and gave us 3 options for each area, so we could choose how far we wanted to go. We ended up completely replacing 2 small roof areas (including some dry rot on the sub roof), and having the seams taped & sealed on the main roof.

Before we ever agreed to anything, he offered to have one of his guys come out and do a quick patch on our badly-leaking scupper for no charge. That says a lot right there.

Once we signed the contract, they started within a week, and completed the job in 3 days. The last day he must have had 2-3 crews working here, in order to get the job done before the rain that was forecast for the next day. They cleaned up everyday and even primed & caulked the wood rafters they replaced, all I need to do is paint them now.

The workmanship is like night & day between Eberhard & the previous company. Wish I had contacted them back in 2013! We just had a massive rain storm (12/14/2021), and we experienced no leaks, which is a huge relief.

Eberhard Benton replaced our roof back in 2013. The work was speedy and reasonably priced. After a storm in 2021, we noticed some leaking/water damage. We called, and Mike came out that same afternoon to take a look. It turns out the leak was caused by a DIY project gone wrong (who knew you couldn't just put a bunch of nail holes in the roof?). Even though the damage was self-inflicted, Mike sent some of his guys that very next day to fix the holes at no charge. Thanks!

Eberhard Benton Roofing did an outstanding job for us. The men were here before they were due to start, waiting quietly for us to unlock. They worked quickly and efficiently, cleaned everything up every day, and were hard workers. They even came around to ask whether they could clean the bridge to our back deck, which they couldn't access without asking. They were polite and good communicators. Their work was exceptional. They warranty it too. They came in on time and on budget. Working with them was a pleasure. We recommend them highly.

I am recommending Eberhard Benton Roofing as a supreme roofing company in San Diego. Our condominium building had a big project and needed a large flat roof. The Board sent many hours researching bids from many San Diego roofing companies.

Eberhard Benton's bid seemed more than fair and right on the money for the type of flat roof we needed. We did not go with the cheapest, but the best roof needed for the money. Some of the other roofing companies give bids only to make repairs. After speaking with Dave Recker from Eberhard Benton, he told us that would be a big mistake based upon his inspection of the roof. Mike Ortega his project manager and he showed us photos our roofing issues.

Benton's bid was sent out to the Board and approved after very careful consideration. Benton was very flexible about scheduling. They kept homeowners and residents about the roofing process and timing. They kept their promise as to time and cost.

The Board received DAILY updates from project manager Mike Ortega with photos images of all the work. Mike was on site and the workers were very considerate to the needs of all the owners. The roof now looks amazing. Photo image provided

Eberhard Benton just re-roofed our small condo building in Coronado. They were so good to work with. The roof looks great. I always got a prompt response to my questions and requests. The entire crew was so accommodating. It is my understanding that their crew is all employees, not sub-contractors like some of the other roofing companies. All employees seemed to have a good attitude about their work. Their roofing system requires that the product manufacturer has their own inspector come out to look over and sign off on the job. I feel like we got a great product and good workmanship. The company has been around for decades and unlike a lot of others who spend a fortune on TV advertising, Benton seems to rely on word of mouth and personal recommendations. Highly recommend them!

Loved the work they did on the roof! They were trustworthy and no funny business. They did come back and try to fix things, totally cool.
Just received the warranty a couple of days ago from the manufacturer on the shingles. I had some spare time today, and so I drew this.

You can choose another roofer, but you won't be as happy as me!!
