I contacted Eberhard Benton Roofing on a Saturday to help repair a leak on my roof from a previous solar installation. Mike responded immediately and came out the next day on a Sunday morning to repair it. Follow ups post repair have been thorough. I would not hesitate to use them again.

I had a foam roof put on my house in 1996. The service was great and in the proceeding years they came out to check on my roof for free.
In Jan 2020 I wanted to add solar they don't offer this. I made a huge mistake and went with GBC Remodeling .
They have a lot of good reviews My experience is very different I don't recommend them.
Eberhard saved me they came out and repaired the damage that GBC did to my roof. Put on a new coating and my flat roof is perfect again.
I know when I call in 5 years to have the roof checked they will still be here for me. They are so kind in the office also.
Only company you should use if you have a flat roof. They know how to repair or put on new also do any type of roof.

These guys are the best. I am an architect as well and have been completely impressed with their level of craft, professionalism and efficiency. They removed the entire roof in one day without even hurting one plant or tree around the perimeter of the house. They are responsive, honest and friendly. I just had my roof replaced and these guys were great. I had four bids. I didn't go with the cheapest because either they weren't getting proper permits or had questionable 3rd parties doing the tear off. I Choose EBERHARD BENTON! After speaking with Dave Recker all of my questions were answered and I knew that I would pick them. They showed up each day on time and delivered a beautiful new roof. In fact, 3 days after the install we had a very hot Santa Ana and I received a text from my wife saying how cool the house was and that there was a very noticeable difference. Eberhard Benton Roofing was wonderful to work with, from beginning to end. They came out quickly to give us an estimate, and when we were ready to move forward, they scheduled us right away and did a great job on our roof. We interviewed several roofers, and their estimate was very competitive---not the lowest, and far from the highest. Because they also do commercial, I was a bit concerned we might be treated like a small fry, but that couldn't be farthest from the truth. The whole crew was professional, working hard to get the job done, and they cleaned up after themselves every day. They had all the equipment and experience needed. They patiently answered all our questions, and sent us pictures of the finished product. We couldn't be happier that we chose Eberhard Benton Roofing!

I wanted to add an update: We had 1 1/2"" insulation installed with the new roof along with cool roof shingles. With the heat wave we're having right now, our house definitely feels cooler!

Eberhard Benton Roofing Company has to be the BEST roofing company in San Diego. I contacted them for a roofing project that was need ASAP. They gave me a proposal, sent to the Board and the Board approved right away. They were very flexible with scheduling and I got them out right away. Once we set a date they made a form that I could send to the entire association explaining everything the homeowners needed to do to repair. Once the day came the homeowners were clear and had no questions. Since the work has started I've been getting DAILY updates from Benton roofing with photos attached. Me and the Board have been so amazed with these updates, most companies will not do this.

With all that being said I will always use this company. They communicate well and so far the work on the roof looks amazing.

They truly are a great company. I would recommend all of San Diego to use them for roofing needs :)
