On 12/16/24 I called for an appointment about repairing or replacing 2 whirlybirds on my roof - one of which had blown off in the high winds. Skye Melendez said he could come the following afternoon. On 12/17 he spent less than 10 minutes on the roof, said it was an easy job - probably about an hour to replace the whirlybirds and patch the roof as necessary. He said he would go to the office and get a price on the whirlybirds and send me a quote. I never heard from him again even though I left 2 messages. Obviously I cannot reecomended him or his business as he showed himself to be completely unprofessional.

Needed to replaced our old roof( was originally installed in 1997)- with two winters of heavy rain, I was concerned that the old shingles may not make it through another winter. I contacted three roofing companies- but the best option was EBA roofing. The owners, Ben and Mike, came out to review what needed to be done. Mike explained the cool roof shingle options ( colors), the sequence of installation ( one day to remove old shingles, city inspection of roof before new shingles installed & final inspection once work is completed). EBA arranged the permits and inspections. Their price quote was the most reasonable ( one company gave an offer twice the amount). If I had any questions, even the most trivial ones, Mike answered them. And his answers reassured me. The crew cleaned up any and all debris. And the crew was courteous and respectful.
An added plus, our old LADWP meter was located above our gas meter/ gas lines. As EBA also does general contractor work- Mike contacted their head electrician, Asaf. Asaf 's recommendation was to have the meter relocated and as we also has 1940's wiring throughout the house- replacement of all wires( new outlets, ceiling lights, etc.) It made sense to upgrade. This was a major project, but despite a long day of replacing the old wires, installing the new wires( switches, outlets)- what a difference! Highly recommend this company for your roofing projects and and construction needs.

We had put off getting a new roof for too long, and our shingles were starting to glisten as they wore down. I got several recommendations from friends and via Yelp and Next Door and narrowed it down to 4 companies. Skye at EBA Roofing was very responsive and scheduled a visit to provide an estimate quickly (unlike at least one other company). Their estimate was the most reasonable and he answered all my questions about possible adjustments in case of mold, etc. so there were no surprises. Skye and his team were great to work with, always communicative and friendly (they are around the house for a while!) and the roof looks beautiful. Can't say enough good about them - they make a painful process (who wants to pay for a new roof....) much easier!

The initial call I made was replied quickly by a very friendly and knowledgeable person. She scheduled an initial visit quickly. Afterward I dealt with Skye as the project manager. He was very friendly and very quick to reply to all my questions, from the beginning, throughout the project, and also at the end. We had a 25 -30 year old roof that needed to be replaced and was beginning to spring leaks. Mike responded quickly. No high pressure sales tactics. The price was very competitive and the work is nothing less than top notch! They were on time, returned calls/ texts promptly, and they addressed every concern we had. Additionally, they take pride in their work and went so far as to reinstall/ adjust two new skylights that were installed just a little bit out of square. After the work was done, they worked with me to make sure I had all the required items for my DWP rebate.

This company is great! The prices that the sales rep Skye quoted were very reasonable and right in line with two other quotes I had received for replacing my 30 year old roof. Skye was very straightforward and explained the various steps in detail and also talked about possible hidden problems that might come up. I was expecting the project to take a week, but the work actually took only three days, which was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely recommend EBA Roofing to anyone who needs work done.
