I had a major leak in my roof. E2 remodel inc. was wonderful in fixing my problem. They were honest, clean, and affordable. Frank was very clear and easy to contact for any of my questions. The staff led by Dillon did a very nice job, and in a timely manner. I am already hiring them for a second story add-on after I was so pleased with the job they did on my balcony and roof.

Frank and the crew at E2 once again did a fabulous job at my house. I had some bathroom/shower/tub repairs I needed. Alex and his partner were extremely professional and efficient. They were in and out, and did the job well. Thanks again E2!

Frank lives up to his 5 star reputation. His people are top notch and their work impeccable. From the initial quote to completion of the final checklist, we had thorough communication with Frank and his team and a true meeting of the minds. Frank listened to our wants, provided great feedback and contractor ""know how"" and together we decided on our perfect renovation plan.

We lived in our house during our remodel without complaints. Every day they cleaned up the work area and made any disruptions to our livable space quite minimal. They epitomized calm efficiency and mastery of their craft. I say ""craft"" because each member of the team displayed exemplary skill and ownership of their work from painting to tile work to carpentry to our wood floors. They did a great job and ensured that we were happy with the final product.

We love coming home and relaxing in the space that Frank helped create. As an aside, we were so pleased with his work that partway through our initial renovation we asked to add on additional projects. Frank accommodated our requests with only a little waiting for his team's availability. I mention this because Frank does not just say yes to everything and take your money and run. He thoughtfully plans out the allocation of his team and is open and honest. When we asked for additional work to be done, we had to wait because he had other commitments. I appreciated that he holds true to his word with his other clients and that he doesn't spread his team too thin so that their work would suffer. We waited till he was available to complete our additional projects and it was worth the wait. Thank you E2 Remodel. Till next time...

Having seen numerous remodels and new constructions, I must say the craftsmanship of E2 Remodel is absolutely second to none. But even more importantly, I can't imagine anyone being more overparticular about details and attentive to every single part of the job. To say I was just pleased is an absolute understatement. When you find someone great, you must use them- and that's exactly what I did. I cannot say enough good things about Frank and the whole crew. Extremely hardworking, professional, and very honest. I am grateful for their thoroughness which is not always the case with a lot of construction projects these days. You will not see any cutting corners with them, which is a great quality as I compared their work to other contractors used in the past. It was a real pleasure working with E2 Remodel. Strongly recommended!!!!

This is the first Yelp Review I've ever written. Within the first few months of moving into our new house in LA, and after nearly every vendor let us down, stressed us out, and took our money, Frank and his team saved the day and saved our sanity.

Frank exemplifies the saying, ""A way a man does anything is the way he does everything.""

He's physically fit, poised, proficient, articulate, and I can tell, a true Leader for his crews - someone who works extremely hard to train his guys and support them. His leadership is obvious, as he was often at our house each morning going over the plan of the day with his crew - Jesus and Alberto. Moreover, the morale of Jesus and Alberto was always high. They showed up on time, worked extremely hard, were courteous to my wife (and cat), always cleaned up, and the final product of their brick work and carpentry is magnificent -- everyone who sees it says so before I even bring it up!

I discovered Frank graduated an Ivy League school and learned all he could about construction -- working hard in the dirt during his summer and winter breaks, and then right after graduation. Frank's unique background, I think, contributes to his different (i.e. better) approach which he combines his intelligence, technology, and professionalism into a packaged deal that delivers top notch and on time results. He tracks every crew's daily progress with his construction app on his IPAD which includes daily photos, progress reports, and any hang ups he can immediately resolve.

Frank's cost quotes are also rock solid. When the brick material we ordered was different than expected, requiring more material and labor than expected to craft and install, Frank did not go back on his original quote and try to increase his quote. Instead, his crew worked extremely hard day in and day out - 10 hours per day -- and I know Frank didn't make much, if any, money off the project. That's because Frank's goal is to keep his clients for decades. I still have a ton of additional projects for my house and every last one of them will go to E2 Remodel and I hope Jesus and Alberto will be on the next project as they were every bit as professional as their boss.

Five stars is the only suitable rating for Frank and his awesome crew at E2 Remodel. My wife and I did a complete remodel of the second floor of our house including new custom stairs, install engineered wood flooring, paint, 3-d tile installation on our chimneys, reseal our balcony and decks and refinish our kitchen cabinets. The crew for most of the renovation included Gabriel, Alex, Eradio and Jose Luis. Dylan, Danny and many others came in and out over the course of our 3 month remodel. They arrived punctually every day and often stayed later than required. The guys are hard working, trustworthy, patient and they genuinely care about the quality of their work. Gabriel is extremely skilled and worked on one of the most challenging parts of the renovation - the 3-D tile installation on our 3 chimneys. He figured out how to economize the tile and was able to do all 3 chimneys with minimal loss of material. Eradio is a master with the paint brush. He also saved us one day when he caught a leak coming from our dishwasher right before we left for work. Another great member of the crew, Dylan came to help Alex prep and install our custom stairs. He came early one day and saw that one of our pipes in the garden had burst and was gushing down our drive way. He quickly figured out how to turn off the water and saved us a ton of money on water during the drought. I mention these stories because their actions reflect the type of people that work for Frank.

At every stage of the project, Frank's team was efficient and knew when to ask for direction. Although we undertook a large number of projects, rarely were there any major issues with the final product. When there were issues, we worked together to arrive at the best possible
solution.

Frank prepared a detailed estimate and worked with us on a timeline to efficiently complete our project list as quickly as possible. They custom designed and built our stairs on site and worked to accommodate our design aesthetics. They created a custom wood stain for our stairs and brought their master woodworker to apply it. Often, Frank committed extra resources to help meet our schedule and facilitate the work of other sub-contractors. A perfect example is the installation of our engineered wood flooring. Approximately 1,600 square foot of wood flooring was laid in the span of 2+ days. We had 8 workers doing the installation where normally we had 2-4 guys working on projects throughout the house. The extra resources allowed us to meet our carpet installation schedule and expedite the metalwork for our stairs and balcony.

We will definitely recommend E2 Remodel to our friends and family.

Frank Cao is an amazing human being first of all. His work and his words have held integrity and beautiful detailed work. I have referred him to clients that are difficult and he handled like a champ. His work is efficient and timely manner and go out of his way to take care of his clients. Anything from a small remodeling job to ground up construction, he is the man. He has vast knowledge and superior at his craft. I will continue to give him the upmost reviews and referrals.

My wife and I recently purchased a home in south L.A. We needed to do some remodeling so, I looked on Yelp and I liked the reviews I saw for E2 and decided to give them a call. I spoke to Frank and he asked me what type of work I needed done. I informed him that we would like to remodel our bathroom, paint the entire interior of the home and have the hardwood floors either refinished or replaced. He said that was fine and he then asked me where the home was located. I gave him the address and once he realized our home was in the southern section of Los Angeles the conversation completely changed. All of a sudden he became too busy to take down my information in order to schedule an appointment to come see the property and he asked me to text him my phone number and address so he could get back to me. How often does someone call a business for service and they tell you to text your information to them so they can get back to you at their convenience? Who does that? Anyway, after that rude awakening I didn't want anything else to do with E2 Remodel, Inc so I just simply ended the call. So, to all you homeowners out there who are considered to be living in ""undesirable"" neighborhoods, beware of these guys and other contractors who practice this kind of discriminatory behavior.

We had bought a condo that needed quite a bit of fixing to turn it into a comfortable living space. After all was said and done we wound up with a new kitchen, bathrooms, fireplace, and overall face lift. The end result was wonderful! 95% of the remodeling experience went smoothly without a hitch. More importantly, with all the factors that go into a fairly substantial remodel, E2Remodel was very accommodating with resolving misunderstandings and changes to plans. We are NOT experienced remodelers so we couldn't anticipate all the implications of our ideas and what would be involved to make them happen and, of course, what issues would arise when we opened things up in the property. With Frank Cao's extensive experience with remodeling condos we found we could trust his judgement and advice surrounding all the little decisions we had to make and changes to the initial plans. He was able to provide alternatives to keep costs from exploding. He was able to correct a completely botched HVAC job initiated by a dedicated HVAC vendor. He was able to advise on and explain behind-the-scenes construction techniques to comply with California law. Though E2Remodel had several other jobs running at the same time, our property was given steady attention till completed. The team lead, Gabriel, did an excellent job in consulting with us when there were uncertainties. There were only a few minor touchups required in the final punch list to an otherwise excellent paint job by Jose. The only item we wish we had caught before changing it would be expensive was the yoking of light switches in the kitchen. That's only one among hundreds of other decisions that worked out well. The whole team was responsive to phone calls/texts and welcomed daily visits. This team is responsible, attends to detail, capable, and honest. We are thankful. We would definitely employ them again.
