Nice people, but never showed up on time and didn't completely finish the job. What was done looks great, just wish they would have completed it. Could have been 5 stars with a completed job and more professional experience by showing up on time and having the project completed by the time they gave us.

Ross and his workers did an outstanding job on our patio. He exceeded our expectations and my family is so happy with our new addition. The job was completed in a timely manner and I sincerely appreciated the responses to all of my questions. I would highly recommend and will hire if needed for other future home remodeling projects.

Ross & Tony didn't disappoint when it came to building a covered gable for our patio. We got several bids but decided to go with Dynamo Construction because they asked a lot of questions as to what we wanted our patio to look like. Their bid was very reasonable and their workmanship was great! If you are looking to do a similar project, I can't recommend these guys enough. Their workers were polite and did the job to our specs. We are more than happy with the results and glad we went with Ross & Tony.

I hired Ross to remove a wood deck and install a new flagstone patio. He was responsive at first, but as soon as the work was done it was hell to get a hold of him ever again. The frame for the patio broke within a week, they did not compact the gravel base so my patio is uneven, and now barely a year later he will not stand by his work to come out and add more gravel where the huge gaps have appeared. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! As soon as he receives payment he vanishes like a ghost and he gives every excuse why nothing is his fault. He does not return phone calls and is extremely rude. I'm only giving a one star rating because you can't give a zero star rating....

We recently had some work done at our North Dallas home using Dynamo Remodeling. Specifically, we had a beautiful new patio cover installed to create an outdoor living area and also had the entire house re-caulked and re-painted.

Bidding Process:
The owner, Ross Garza, was prompt and professional in his quotation process. He provided a detailed quote for the covered patio and for the painting. He included in his bid when his crew would start the job and an approximate timeline on when the job would be completed.
We had no cost overruns or unexpected expenses. The job did take a bit longer than expected but not by much.

The Crew:
The crews were excellent...especially the painting crew. They showed up promptly and worked long, hard hours paying attention to details. With that said, like with any home project, they still needed direction. I work from home and was able to be there every day with them to ensure they were on point with that I wanted. Anyone considering a project like this should find a way to be home to watch the crew and to answer questions.

The Cost:
I had bids from numerous contractors. Dynamo's bid was not the cheapest but it was not the most expensive either. It was fair and that is what I wanted. I wanted a professional crew what would show up on time and finish the job they started. From my experience, you don't get that with a ""cheap"" crew. So I felt the pricing was right.

Misc Notes:
Be very clear with the contractor. Make sure they understand you don't want any of your trees or shrubbery disturbed without asking you first. Also, Ross was good about coming by on a regular basis and monitoring his crew. If something was not quite right, he corrected it right away. I would use him again in a heartbeat and would gladly recommend him to others. My house has never looked better.

Came quickly. Wonderful company to work with. Owner was on site. Cleaned everything up. Explained exactly what was needed for the job. Worry free. Would use them again. The quality of their work is excellent. Very polite.

Ross does NOT stand by his work!!
Two months ago we had a concrete patio laid by Dynamo Construction. We called for the consultation and Ross came out the very next day, obviously eager to have a new client. We even told him we were considering him for future work building a patio cover. We expressed to him that we were a little weary about contractors after having a bad experience in the past and he assured us that Dynamo Construction stands by their work. Within a week he had his crew out to our yard to frame and prepare for concrete. A few days later, the patio was poured while we were out of town with our newborn daughter. The day we returned we contacted Ross and he came out that very same day to pick up the rest of his payment. The only problem was that the framing had not been removed yet. Ross told us he would send someone to remove the framing. A day or so later, we came home from an errand and a guy was just finishing removing the framing as the sun set. (He failed to remove excess chunks of cement that were littered in our yard.) When we went out the next morning, we noticed the corner of our patio had chunks broken off from when the framing was removed and the cement was all over the bottom of our fence. My husband first texted Ross, but had no response. A day later he called Ross and we were assured that he would send someone out to fix it. A week went by with no results. I called Ross and he again assured us it would be fixed and even named a day. That day came and went with no contact from him. It had now been at least 3-4 weeks since the patio was done so I called Ross again and told him how disappointed I was with him especially after telling me that he stands by his work. I told him I felt like he was never going to take responsibility and fix his work. He said he would call his guy right away and make sure it was taken care of. Another week went by... As a last resort, I sent him a message through his website saying how disappointed we were and how we were not going to recommend him to anyone or use him for any future projects. He texted my husband at midnight that night asking if the corner had ever been fixed, as if he didn't know from my message that morning. My husband simply responded ""no"". That was 2-3 weeks ago with still no word from Ross. He sure came over quick to get his money, but now cannot find a few hours over a two month period to make his customer happy and do the job right. What a disappointing and frustrating situation! The least he could have done was to be honest. His cowardly and evasive behavior has driven us to warn others to stay away from Dynamo Construction!
