After a hailstorm I watched Top Dog Roofing do a job across the street and was impressed with the way their team completed the job. Efficiently, safely, and professionally. You see, I worked in the construction industry in the late 70s and early 80s, so I know a little bit about these things. I requested an estimate from them, and Vance arrived only a couple of days later. The price was right, the communication was clear and direct, the warranty details were great, and my comfort level was at the right place. It took a couple of weeks of backlog time to get to my house. The crew arrived on time and wrapped the base on my home and AC unit with a breathable cloth to catch all debris. The work was completed in one day. They replaced the shingles with architectural style as well as new roof vents and a rain diverter. The cleanup crew is also worth mentioning as they made sure all the debris was collected and hauled off, gutters were clean, and swept the yard/driveway with a magnetic nail sweep. Now that the work is complete, the new roof looks great, and all the shingles are correctly aligned including the ridgelines. I recommend Top Dog Roofing for all your roofing needs and will use them again if ever needed!

I used Top Dog Roofing last year to replace my roof after a bad hail storm. I really cannot say enough great things about the company, in particular how they communicate. My project manager (James) was consistently on top of every single little detail. He was always just a phone call away and went above and beyond to make sure that everything was taken care, including all the back-and-forth with my insurance company. They are not pushy trying to sell you anything, and genuinely make you feel like they just want to give you the best service/solution for your needs. They have completely earned my trust and I highly recommend!!

Had our roof replaced by Top Dog Roofing last year (2020) during the pandemic. They had the job completed same day. My job lead James Beaver led us through the process from start to finish. The result was incredible. They installed attic roof vents, checked the stacks and patched any holes in the plywood that were found. We went with an architectural style roof shingle and the quality is great.

The entire financing process takes place via iPads and photos/scans of documents are provided digitally. I was even provided drone images of our roof to review. They helped coordinate with the insurance process as well.

I write the review now because.. we have now survived two crazy storms (winter storm 2021 in February and a crazy 70mph wind storm over Memorial day weekend where our neighbor's tree clipped our house)

Both times the roof held up perfectly and protected our house. I requested an inspection post storm and James was out to walk around the roof and check it out the next business day after the storm.

Would definitely recommend their team.

A week or so ago, I provided Top Dog with a one star rating for a lack of communication in returning a couple of phone calls. Today I am giving Top Dog a 5 star rating ... the company got back to me right away acknowledging their difficulty in handling the volume of calls as a result of the recent hail storm, promptly scheduled a visit to inspect the roof, received a text confirming their arrival today, was on time, and thoroughly and patiently answered all questions following the inspection. I am moving forward with Top Dog and will post again following the completion of the project.

Like so many people on Yelp, I am confessing that I should have written this review a long time ago. My roof was completed last summer and Top Dog did a fabulous job! I first called them because a person I had out for tree trimming mentioned that squirrels were getting in due to a missing tile. They came out and did an inspection and found that there had been hail damage the previous fall. James Beaver did a great job keeping me in the loop and Michelle Emerson is a wizard when it comes to dealing with insurance! My, she put in a lot of work to get the job approved and an appropriate amount allocated for the repair. At the end James and two supervisors came out and walked the roof and made sure everything looked good. I have had leaking around the chimney area in the past so I wanted to be absolutely sure that there would not be an issue there. The roof looks great and it came through the ice storm with flying colors. I think the fire and ice shield really did it's job!

He was so communicative, easy to work with, explained everything, and then viola! everything he said matched what actually occurred. My insurance agency suggested we call Top Dog when we needed to have our roof replaced and I am glad we did. The job was quick, professional and looks excellent.

I picked this group because they are a local business and during Covid wanted to go local as much as possible. They arrived quickly and assessed my roof. They told me to tell them when my adjuster was coming so they could advocate for me. My estimate was right in line with my insurance payment. They showed up exactly as promised, started and finished in 6 hours, cleaned up my entire property and I am blown away with their professionalism. Very Covid cautious. Wore masks, maintained distance. I can't say enough great things. This is your go-to company for ANY roofing needs!!

We recently had our roof replaced by Top Dog Roofing, and are very happy with the results.

Our roof had suffered some hail damage, and it became necessary to replace it, along with the roofs of two out-buildings and a gazebo!

We had met a couple of reps of Top Dog Roofing at the Austin Home and Garden Show a few years ago. We were impressed with their professionalism and for the fact that they donate a percentage of each job to Austin Pets Alive. We knew we wanted to use them and contacted them for an estimate. Martin arranged for an inspection to assess the damage, and then returned to meet with the insurance adjuster to answer any questions.

The ""team"" arrived promptly on the scheduled date, and in a whirl of activity removed the old roof and replaced it with a brand new one! After they left, there was no evidence they had been here - except for the beautiful new roofs!

We were kept apprised of every step throughout the process. From the office staff, to our rep, as well as the entire roofing team, we couldn't have asked for better service. Top Dog Roofing always went above and beyond and we highly recommend them to anyone needing any type of roof repairs / replacement.
