These guys are a class act all around. Friendly and efficient. They coordinated with The Building Company (another really good company) to get some structural repairs done after tearing off the old roof. I was impressed that I did not have to be involved with that part.

Our Dura-Foam roof has changed our lives. We have an old mother-in-law apartment behind the house. Built in 1952 it had no insulation, which made it sweltering hot in summer and freezing in winter. After forcing our guests to endure this for 15 years, we discovered Dura-Foam. ~ 2 inches of new roof applied over the existing roof, and suddenly we have a building fit for human habitation. As an added complication, I keep bees. The Dura-Foam crews didn't bat an eye, they worked around them and made sure nothing was sprayed near the hive. No bees or workers were harmed during the entire process. Now it's 5 years later and we have just had our recommended surface re-coat. No drama, professional service delivered during COVID-conditions. Very highly recommended.

I work as a first-responder, and when I got a call from my wife that our kitchen fan was leaking water, I called Durafoam to see if they could ladder the roof and see what was leaking. My wife was at home with a baby, so it wasn't safe for her to even look from the eve to see why it was leaking. I was stuck at work for several days without a possibility of leaving even for a couple hours to investigate what was leaking. And I didn't want to ask a neighbor and risk them injuring themselves on a raining / slippery foam roof.

Durafoam came out ASAP and determined that it was the original 1952 vent hood that was leaking. They replaced the hood for me, and put some sealant down. Leak fixed ... thanks for taking care of the the people who take care of you.

Our roof had a minor leak during the recent rains. We called Dura-foam because they had done the foam roof installation for the previous owners.
They treated our request as an emergency and sent a 2-member crew out the very same day. The crew identified and fixed the problem in under an hour. They went over the repairs, and suggested a couple of maintenance ideas too.
Last but not the least, Dura-foam honored their no-leak guarantee and the repair did not cost us a dime!

We were extremely satisfied with Dura-Foam on our recent large project. Last August we contacted them about installing a solar system on our foam-roofed Eichler. Jerom came out and walked us through the process, including first doing a re-coat and other maintenance on our existing Dura-foam foam roof. He also worked with us to size the solar system. Throughout the process the employees at Dura-Foam were professional and friendly - communicated well and worked around our scheduling needs. The team leads Ali, Lalo, and Luis (and anyone else I forgot) were all very knowledgeable and willing to explain what they were doing. The recoat work was finished around the end of September, and then the solar panel installation started - very useful to have a team that has worked on Eichlers before - they knew all about the perils of finding and drilling into the beams. After the final installation, Jerom even came to our house and worked with us for about two hours to get the wi-fi connection to the Solar Edge inverter working. He also helped with PG&E's very confusing process for getting registered as a solar user, as well as working with us to get all of the panels recognized by the inverter monitoring system. We have been up and running flawlessly for several months now.

The only disappointment we had through the process was that Jerom failed to properly assess our electrical panel prior to giving us a quote, and in the end we had to give up our whole-house surge protector in order to make room in the panel for the solar equipment since there were no available circuits and all that could be split had already been split.

Why I am writing today, three months after the project was completed? Because I had kind of forgotten about it until I was again reminded today of Dura-Foam's great service. Our neighbors are having their roof foamed today and they had emailed us that we might want to move our cars. This morning I went out and talked to Ali about if our cars are at risk, how about our solar panels? Within five minutes, the Dura-foam crew was up on our roof and covered all of our panels with plastic. Superb!

Our roof started leaking, and it was time to recoat it. We wanted to take the opportunity to do some upgrades to the house - Panels & HVAC. Jarom met us on the property, outlined all the options, and guided us to the choice most suitable for us. He was friendly and patient answering all our questions, and connected us with an HVAC contractor and a general contractor to take care of the plumbing, electrical and some beam / post work. We had a minor though troublesome roof leak during the recent heavy rain. I called DuraFoam, the roof installer. They dispatched Emiliano and Adam who came over that afternoon. They were friendly and efficient; identifying the leak source on the chimney cap. It was fixed within 30 minutes. We are very satisfied with our DuraFoam roof: It's been durable, and keeps our Eichler cool in the summer without A/C and our heating bills low in the winter.

Although it took a little while for them to get back to me, a next day on site appointment was made quickly. Jerom was courteous and informative. Although Dura-Foam wasn't able to do the work, Jerom suggested alternatives, which ended up working out for both parties. I called to follow up on his suggestions, and was treated like royalty even though I wasn't a paying customer. Hats off to Dura-Foam.
