A structural engineer identified a tilting chimney above the house roof we were in process of purchasing. He recommended contacting a qualified contractor to check the top of the framing structure, etc. My inspection company recommended D & S Construction. Dave did an assessment of this home with similar fireplace chases leaning and determined it's usually a failure of the pad/footing. This repair would entail reinforcing the pad and then rebuild the fireplace chase from the deficiency upward.

Dave was very professional and followed through with assessing, repair recommendation and cost of the project.

Dave was incredible to work with on our full roof replacement. Because insurance covered it, it took a while to get approval through them and our HOA. Not only was Dave patient and professional, but he took care of all the insurance paperwork that I couldn't decipher.
