Nathan with Driftwood Builders Roofing is a fantastic salesman! He does accurate quotes, and the real test of a person - company is when one encounters a problem. After replacing a roof for me, the shingle manufacturer ordered a recall. Nathan could have let it go, but he came out, and at no charge completely replaced the roof. Since then, he has been my go to guy for all my roofing needs.

We used Driftwood Builders after the last hail storm. While there were a bunch of migratory companies coming through town, I didn't feel like there would be anyone around to warranty their work. I am really glad we did, because they were efficient and used high quality product. My roof has held up much better than some of my neighbors. They have even come out to inspect it a couple of times since, and didn't use it as an opportunity to make more money.

Truthful and honest. That's what I look for in a contractor. Could not imagine using anyone else.

I'd recommend this company. I had an unusual issue and they were able to fix it! They were prompt, friendly, and reasonably priced.
I noticed several small water spots on my ceiling in my bedroom and kitchen. There had been some bad storms and several of my neighbors were having their roofs repaired, so I called Driftwood Builders to come check it out. They couldn't find any damage to my roof from the the outside (they took pictures of my roof to show me) and they went into my attic to look too, but they figured out that my home builder had used interior caulk instead of exterior caulk on the roof. That caulk had deteriorated and when it rained water was trickling into my attic through a lot of little nail holes.
I was impressed that they had figured this out since it doesn't seem like a standard issue. And, most importantly, I haven't seen any more water spots since they fixed it!

In anticipation for potentially adding solar we thought we should check the health of our roof first. It turns out that we needed a new roof

We had 5 builders give us quotes. Most came out for the inspection without us being there and sent a quote. Driftwood builders definitely stood out. They were the first to show us that we had hail damage and had good cause for an insurance claim. Almost every other builder said we didn't have a claim.

During the first inspection with Nathan we immediately saw the difference. Nathan sat down with us and reviewed what he found, as well as create the quote point by point. He explained the entire insurance process and what Driftwood builders would be responsible for. At the end of the first visit we knew what it would cost. Nathan also explained what we had the right for replacement under insurance so we felt armed with the knowledge we needed (it turns out that our insurance company is great and we didn't need to escalate anything!). They also offered to be there when the claims adjuster came to do inspection. That made the process easier as well.

Everything was as Nathan explained during the build process it took a day and a half and they were finished. They brought a Porta potty so that the crew had a place to use facilities. They protected my plants and cleaned up well. We didn't have any damage at all. And they were able to add gutters and chimney trim to the project at an additional cost.

We are very with our entire experience with Driftwood Builders.

Driftwood Builders Roofing made our roofing replacement experience a smooth and satisfying one. From the moment I called their professionalism was upfront. I was set up with an appointment and Chris gave me a call when he was on his way. He was prompt, professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. Once we decided on the specifics, we were scheduled for work. The crew took extra care to clean up and it was as if they had never been there, except the great looking new roof! We called other companies and Driftwood Builders Roofing was very competitive and professional.

All I'm saying is there was no need to curse at me the times I talked to. Yes I stopped answering YOUR calls after the hostilities I received whenever I talked to u. Continued answering calls and tryin to stay in contact with ur estimator tho. I get it! Ur gonna try ur hardest to save face on here. But ""stern"" phone call it was not. It was combative, judgmental, hostile and quite frankly semi racist.

We had a new roof installed a couple years ago by a different roofer which resulted in leaks around chimneys. The prior roofer was terrible in not returning calls, nor once he did come out could not fix the problem. We found Todd Munsinger from a friend's referral. Todd was prompt in scheduling his visit to diagnose the problems. He is expert in finding roofing and flashing problems. In our case, the leak resulted in rotting or our roof sheathing. Todd took care of repairing the rotten plywood, fixing the flashing, and managing to match the prior shingles with the new shingles needed for the repair. Todd's costing was very reasonable and the job has fully fixed the leaking problem!
We also later arranged for Driftwood Builders to replace the gutters on our house. This also was a job done superbly well in craftsmanship. Contact Todd with your roofing and gutter repair needs. He is the best!

You know what's stressful, someone telling you that your roof is in sad shape right as you're about to list your house for sale.

Turns out, that if you call Todd and team, it's really, really easy to get your roof replaced. Todd worked quickly and efficiently to get our house a new roof. The team was courteous, clean and the quality shows.

Todd met our insurance adjuster and helped walked us through the process of getting the roof replaced and explained every detail along the way. He comes onsite with multiple color and trim options and helps you choose options most suitable for your home. The process was very easy and we're very happy with the end results.

Thankfully our neighbor had Todd's card and passed it along to us in our time of need. Now I have a couple of his cards as well and will most definitely recommend his company to anyone that needs their roof replaced or checked.

Driftwood Builders Roofing replaced my roof 7 years ago and did an amazing job! Start to finish, even working with the insurance company, Todd and his team were fantastic to work with. The roof continues to look awesome! After Harvey and the most recent 5"" of rain overnight, I did notice possible roof related leaks. Todd came out the same day I called him and inspected the flashings & roof. He let me know the roof wasn't causing my current issue and showed me the trouble spots. My problem had nothing to do with any part of my roof, but I do have a window leak! Thanks Todd for your honesty, promptness and quality of work! I have suggested Driftwood to other neighbors and will continue to support them.

After the last hail storm in 2015 Todd Munsinger and Driftwood builder roofing got us taken care of and handled the insurance claim. Fast forward to Hurricane Harvey and we discover a leak at window and can't tell source but water remediation company says have roof company come and do a water test to determine source of leak. Todd took the time to come with a busy schedule climb up on roof, do a water leak test and thoroughly inspect source of leak. Relieved to find out it is related to caulking issues for exterior of windows. The roof is holding up great. Todd didn't charge me for his time and said ""Your roof is my roof when I put them in I want to make sure everything is alright"". I would definitely recommend this business
