Bob S.Recently had a bathtub/shower converted to a walk in shower by Dreamstyle. The work was OK but the pricing and financing were not. I am a senior living in a retirement community, and their pricing tactic is to rip off the elderly and hit you with an outrageous price, then rachet the price down until you say yes. My first quote was $25K which I declined. Then several lower prices were quoted until I finally agreed to a price 40% lower. But the worst part was they trapped me into a finance deal which I did not want or approve. Their sales person told me that credit card payment was acceptable, but now they say they will not accept a credit card payment. Avoid this outfit.
Tim R.The shower install was done, and it looks fine. But the issue was the installation. Besides the amount they charged for such a small shower install, they were deceptive in their installation estimate. The salesman said, 1 to 2 days installation and so does their website. But the reality was more like 17 days!! So I had to come out of pocket to do a temp fix on the shower stall so I could use it during that time. They were no help when I asked if they could do a temp fix and they wouldn't discount the balance owed. I'll not use them again nor recommend them to anyone!!
Juan E.Please stay away. There are so many options out there. Over priced and they prey on senior citizens. Your loved ones will get tied into a loan and won't be able to cancel under any circumstances including hospitalizations. They give 3-5 days to cancel but won't return calls until those days have past. Keep an eye on your elderly family members from predatory companies like this.
They quoted almost 50% more than their nearest competitor for replacing a tub style with a walk-in shower but I went with them hoping that I would get immaculate service. Their installer didn't care about my property. Left my home very dirty after the job. They took 3 days for the installation as opposed to the promised ""1-day installation"". Then the shower door was not installed properly as there would be some water leaking outside of the shower door after someone takes a shower. They sent a technician 5 times so far and none of them was able to resolve the issue. Now neither the project manager answers my call or am I able to reach a person through their service department. Horrible horrible customer service. Their warranty department is a farce. The designer who first visits your home promises the moon but afterwards it is a total disaster and nothing but disappointment. Stay away from this company!!
Derek, Sales Agent, gave an estimate which I assumed were inflated to almost $25 thousand for a shower remodeling only and NOT the entire bathroom. To our surprised, with all the special discount they created it was brought down to almost $15 thousand. Online estimates ranges only from $5,000. thru $12,000. He further stated, everything from start to finish will only take 2 wks. After postponement, delays and snags, it was finally finished after exactly a month. As for the payment, they did not keep their promise and we were blindsided. They put us in a credit financing company that we were not aware off. The Sales, the process of construction and the payment were fully explained to us and AS AGREED, CASH PAYMENT ONCE DONE.
Mgr Linda was supposed to check with upper management if we can still pay cash but she never get back to me. Then, seek the help of Derek, the Sales Agent, he just said, still waiting for their call back and that Dreamstyle were already full paid by the Financing Company. I called the Financing Company and told me, I cannot pay cash thru them. Lo n behold, I went back and forth from Dreamstyle to the Financing company and back twice. They don't consider whether you're seniors or if you fully understand the process.
In short, once they get fully paid, don't expect any service or help to resolve any more issues. This is not a good company, very bad customer service,
Justine F.We just finished 3 bathroom projects with Dreamstyle remodeling. Our initial meeting with the project manager went ok. Soon after, we found out that the project manager had ""quit"" or ""fired""...Thereafter, the communication with the management was slippery. Too many people were involved, and there was no coherence among them. The installers were fine and met the deadline. There were a few hiccups and they took too long to resolve. As for the way of payment or value, they did not keep their promise, and we were blindsided. I would give them 3 out of 5 stars.
Thank you John & Danny for doing an amazing job on our shower. We are really happy with our bathroom shower. We were impressed by your attention to detail and explaining the process to us! It's nice to have people that are courteous and professional doing work in your home.

I had Henry Nunez do my bathtub to shower conversion in 1 1/2 days. He did the installation all by himself and he cleaned everything up afterward. He deserves a raise after all his hard work. He was kind and kept us informed of just what he was doing all the time.

My husband and I are in our golden years and wanted to remove our bathtub to prevent falls. We looked at several companies and settled on Dream style remodeling, better quality material than the other companies. Matthew Ramirez and Aaron came to our home to do the job, they were both friendly and answered our questions, work was done professionally and on time, they also did a great job in cleaning up. I highly recommend them and their company, well satisfied customer. Cathy
Richard W.Dreamstyle did a tub replacement shower installation in my home on the 3rd of December. The crew that did the work was effecient, did an excellent job and I am happy with the work. However there are 2 issues I can't seem to get resolved.
They installed the wrong style hose for the hand-held shower. I ordered the oiled bronze finish and this one is chrome. I was assured by the installer that someone would contact me and come out to replace it ""shortly"". After 2 weeks, I tried calling the project manager (3 times over 4 days) and left voice mails were never returned. I have subsequently called at talkied to the Irwindale office 3 times. They have taken the information and claim to have passed it on, but no one ever gets back to me. The last 2 times I've called I was put on hold and sat for 3-4 minutes while the phone just rang then timed out.
The second issue was the Lifetime Warranty document. The issued it with the wrong name. They did respond to that by emailing me a link to a revised Lifetime Warranty document that I could not print. Now, when I try to follow the link they provided I'm getting an error message that the link has expired.
In short. Once these people have your money, don't expect any service and I'm seriously questioning now whether this Lifetime Warranty is even worth the paper I can't print it on.
