Dishonest company. Sent by Home Shield and guys seemed like they didn't want to help. Horrible experience.

AVOID AVOID AVOID Beware of this company as they are terrible. got assigned them from American Home Shield warranty company (another joke company) and they said my out of pocket AFTER the home warranty coverage would be almost $1,200 for a hot water heater. Called American Home Shield and asked why my cash allowance was so low (almost $700 less than the allowance for the SAME other water heater that went out six months ago!) AHS says because DPM does not have to pull a permit for the work! Called the City of McKinney and YES, they need a permit. Informed AHS of that and they claim DPM says ""yes we pull permits, but do not charge AHS or the customer for them"" I am calling BS on that and will report to the City to inspect everywhere they have installed hot water heaters as my opinion is they are doing without permits. Why would they eat a cost they can pass on to AHS and the customer. Many other reputable plumbing companies out there. As for AHS, you can bet I will not renew my warranty - another lost customer

I cannot say enough good things about this company. As a new homeowner they've come out twice to repair issues under my home warranty. They're friendly, knowledgable, and reliable.

It was difficult even giving this company 1 star. This was the worst experience ever! This company is not only dishonest but incompetent, and for reference, there is no intention of addressing these concerns, as you can see from previous reviews. After 3 visits and 2 gas leaks, we used another company and now have everything addressed. Stay away from DPM Plumbing!

YOU WANT TO GET SCREWED OVER AND CHARGED FOR SOMETHING YOU SHOULDN'T? CALL THIS JOKE OF A COMPANY - DPM PLUMBING! If AHS gives you them as option, call and request another service company immediately! You will get screwed, lied to, and they will charge you even though it's covered on AHS. Then you fight to get money back. No one returns your call with DPM, they lie to AHS. It's just BS after BS with them. They use the bully tactic to the extreme. So, beware if you let them in your house! It's very disheartening that AHS has yet to hold them accountable after almost 5 weeks of me having dozens of communication with AHS! Clearly, this is a repeat issue with this company based on the negative reviews.

forced to use this company due to American home shield. both are horrible. repair person came out from dpm, 5 days after service request for leaking water heater. when he arrived, he lacked knowledge of simple heat transfer. also, he ripped off the pipe insulation for a unit in the garage in a display of what else needed to be replaced (insulation WAS ok). when he tried to put the cover back on the water heater, it took him several minutes to realize the reason it would not attach was because it was upside down. when he left, he claimed he would turn in the report for replacement but never did. he was told to return the water heat to a state for continued use. he turned on the water but not the gas.

This company is a joke. They were the vendor our home warranty company sent. It was a simple recirculating pump replacement. First appt they had was three days after the claim which was not unreasonable. They said they would call with a 30 minute notice like most reputable businesses. Never got a call, they showed up, still didn't bother calling, then left. That was a Friday. They said they could get me back on the schedule for the following Tuesday. They arrive(didn't ever call with a 30 minute notice) took photos and said they needed to get it approved with home warranty which I know is the process. Was fine with that too. 3 days later I finally called them back to see when I was going to be back on the schedule and they put us back on the schedule for the following Friday. They said they had to get the recirc pump from the parts warehouse. Since they weren't able to call with a 30 minute notice my wife waited all Friday afternoon since their window was from 12-4 and called at 3 to make sure they were still coming and was told they were behind but on their way. At 3:45 they called and said they couldn't make it and would try and reschedule us for next week. We were put in the schedule for the next Tuesday from 12-4. After multiple calls the plumber called at 540pm and said he was on his way and would be an hour before they got there. At 630pm they finally show up. I'm sure they are great if you have no regard for your time. It's taken 2.5 weeks for a simple repair.

I didn't have good experience with them. They damaged my home by cutting the sheet rock through into the next room. The owner doesn't take responsibility for their mistakes. At least a proper apology could go a long way.

I was referred by AHS( American Home Shield) to DPM plumbing to investigate and repair a leak on my kitchen floor. The leak was noticeable when running water through kitchen sink. However, there was no leak present when dishwasher was running. DPM plumber looked at the leak and immediately said the pipe under the foundation was broken. He would send a digging crew to dig from the backyard under the slab and change the pipe. Couple of days later they sent me an estimate of $3600(minimum) for digging and repairing up to one foot of 2"" PVC sewer pipe. I was then referred by my friend to a master plumber. He came and diagnosed a blockage in the main pipe. The main sewer line is cast iron which is attached to PVC pipes. So, through the main clean out pipe in the front yard and the smaller clean out in the backyard he removed the blockage and the leak stopped. His charge was $135. Two weeks later, a lady from DPM called me to send someone to send a camera down the pipe to find the leak. My response to her was this company was a dishonest company and they try to take advantage of somebody's misfortune. I told her the problem was solved by a fraction of their estimate. She said she would tell her manager to call me. I would expect no call from them. They don't deserve any star but I have to give them at least one for review to be submitted.

Like many reviewers, DPM was sent by American Home Shield to replace my water heater in September 2016. They replaced the water heater, but I discovered yesterday they did not install an expansion tank that is required by code. An expansion tank that was not covered by my home warranty and that I paid $800 for. With further research, I also discovered that a permit was filed w/ the city but the technician never had an inspector come out. I am currently on hold with AHS to determine our next steps.
