Dowd roofing replaced my parent's roof. They got a couple of quotes before they got a quote from Dowd. Dowd told that they didn't need to do the roof for a 2-3 more years. That honesty propelled them to get it done right away. Their quote was reasonable. Their workers were quick and efficient. Everyone was kind and helpful and the work and clean up afterwards was top notch. My mom was VERY happy having Dowd roofing handle this project and cannot recommend them enough.

From start to finish, Dowd Roofing was the best in service (customer and project) and quality. They were attentive to what we really wanted and didn't overcharge much for things we didn't anticipate. They actually told us certain issues may be found prior to the project starting and how much it might affect us. Price is middle of the line (after getting 6 quotes). But what sold us was really the attentiveness and service. They even told us which houses they worked on that was near the office and told us to check out the roof and colors to see what we liked. Highly recommended!

Timeline: Initial consultation took less than an hour. We had a lot of questions answered. It took a week or so for the inspector (permit) to approve the roofing. Roofing was scheduled out for a few months due to the company having many projects ahead of us, but once it was our turn, it took a couple days (tear off and application). Because it was forecasted to rain, they sped up the process but didn't skimp on the excellent work. They worked really hard to get it done before the rain hit! Those roofers were awesome! After finish, it took a week or so for the permit to be signed off and paid off.

Service: Very attentive to our needs! Working hours are during the weekdays, however, make an appointment. We went twice and they weren't there. Figured they were out working. But with an appointment, we got everything answered.

The foreman Chuck was so nice and took the time to explain everything that was done. he came back many to times to check on the guys doing the work and if he didnt like something he fixed it. Great company I can't give them high enough marks!
