They let themselves onto a rental home my wife and I own without asking. The tenant came out and thought it was really weird that they were on the roof. They got our number from the tenants and then texted us about damage and need of roofing repairs.

I then texted him asking about if he had permission to get onto the roof. After no response, I called him. He then was super evasive and refused to acknowledge that he was on the roof without permission. He then said I was wasting his time by calling him and I had ""too much time on my hands"". I wasn't the one on someone's roof without permission. Also, the way he evaded the question and more left us with a bad feeling about the integrity of this company.

Anyone that will get on your roof without permission is going way to far to sell their services. There are plenty of other respectable roofing companies out there to trust.

Stay away from Dorsey Construction Roofing! If I could give zero stars, I would. We just spent $140,000 and 9 weeks with Dorsey for 110 squares of a very high quality shingle. Billy Dorsey sells himself as the best, most meticulous roofer in Dallas. However, while his roofing work is good, working with him on a daily basis is a true nightmare. He desperately needs classes in customer management and managing expectations. I could write 30 stories that took place during our roofing project, but there isn't enough room in this review. In summary, he hides behind his religious and family values, just as he is misrepresenting price and product. In addition, for some reason, he feels the need to meddle with all things unrelated to the roof or roofing. An example is that he disconnected our rain sensor from the sprinkler control box. When he reconnected it, he did it incorrectly and caused the $800 sprinkler control box to short out. He does these things without asking or even telling us, so we find out later when we realize things are broken. I'm continuing to find Billy Dorsey problems all over the house, and again, they have nothing to do with the roof. Finally, his price was 40% higher than the next highest bid. I don't often write reviews, but he has left such an impression that I feel obligated to warn other potential customers. There are many other roofers in Dallas, and I recommend using someone else. I do sincerely regret ever hiring Billy Dorsey.

I have had the pleasure of working with Billy Dorsey a number of times over the years and he is THE most trustworthy and quality roofer I have encountered in the two decades I have been in Real Estate! There are roofers that will claim every roof needs to be replaced; but not with Billy! If it's fine, he tells you it's fine. If it needs minor work, he tells you that. And if there is the need for a full replacement, then you can bet it does. ALSO! His roofs are some of THE BEST in DFW!
Billy is a busy man; but there IS a reason why! Trust me! He's the best guy in town!

Billy Dorsey and his roofing team are amazing. Billy oversees every step and makes sure everything is perfect and every roof nail is picked up. He even cleaned up and organized my garage!
