Dority Roofing replaced our older composite shingle roof a couple of years ago. They were absolutely excellent with which to work, prompt, courteous, professional. The new roof is beautifully done, including two difficult roof valleys that required overlapping shingle installation on the second story. Since the installation, they have been to our home to clean & inspect the roof. Everytime they have been helpful and courteous. In our recent windstorms, a corner of our roof sustained damage from a tree that fell. Dority Roofing was out the day we called to inspect and repair the damage. They are a fantastic, responsible company and we have been delighted with their service.

Had leaks from 2 parts of our roof in Pebble Beach last weekend. Contacted Dority Roofing and Kasey arrived on time as promised. Assessed our problem as well as taking pictures to show us where the problem was. Later the same day he provided estimates for the repairs which we then okayed. Truck showed up the following morning and repairs completed in two days. We are very pleased with the speed and professionalism of Kasey and all his workers.

Given the surging cost of energy and water, my wife and I wanted to install solar panels on our roof and convert new and existing rain gutters into a water reclamation and storage system. Our existing roof still had life left in it but, given the exploding costs of electricity and water, it made economic sense for us to replace it now.

We set out to find a roofing company that was capable and willing to produce a turnkey product; roof, solar and rain gutter downspouts that converged into a single source water reclamation and storage system.

We interviewed several companies but Dority Roofing & Solar was the only company that got engaged with our vision, contributed creative ideas and recommendations as to how we could best achieve our objectives. Beyond that, Kasey Dority and his staff were focused on quality. As we moved through the discussion process I sensed their gravitation pull toward doing things right rather than just doing it.

My wife and I decided to use Dority Roofing and we went into this big-ticket project with expectations that crept admittedly high. Dority's crew spent ten days working on our home and, as disruptive as a roofing renovation project can be, their outstanding teamwork, courtesy, professionalism, attention detail and respect for our property was on display each and every day. We even had neighbors stop by and comment on the quality of workmanship they observed.

The final product exceeded our expectations and Dority Roofing confirmed what we'd sensed about them from the very beginning; this is a company that cares about their customer, their employees and their reputation. As home-owner's who were making a sizable and strategic investment in our house, we could not have asked for a better partner!

I am highly impressed with Dority Roofing. We do not make decisions easily and Kasey was very impressive with his knowledge and we felt comfortable with him and knew he would be easy to work with. He was not the lowest bid, but we felt he was the right person to do the job right.
He was helpful in making sure we had a lot of houses to look at to get an idea of how our new roof would look. We even changed the type of roofing shingle just a day before the crew was to begin, and Kasey went out of his way to change the order.
The crew was fantastic. We have open beam ceilings which would have rained dirt into the house during the roofing process. The crew taped up plastic wrap under the ceilings all over the house (took many hours); was impressive how much dirt there was, and none got into the house. The crew worked efficiently and took care of everything. Roofing license was obtained on short notice. Metal work subcontractor arrived and did their work on time and even worked late so as to have job done for the roofers the next day. Roofing crew cleaned up after work each day and you wouldn't have known that the roofing was even in progress at the end of each day. Finally once the job was done it was DONE. For example, there were spots uncovered on the adjacent walls that needed painting. The crew took care of that so that nothing was imcomplete.
Overall, a fine company that I can recommend with no reservations.

We own a lovely cottage in the heart of Carmel and have spent the last year renovating it. Along the way, we have worked with the good, the bad and the ugly when it comes to contractors. The final piece of the jigsaw was to fit a replacement roof. Carmel City are pretty set in their attitudes towards what materials constitute an acceptable roof that 'fits' the locale. As such, the old wood shakes roof we had inherited had to be replaced with another of the same material.

We searched online, asked our neighbors and drove around to get local roofing companies to provide us with a quote. In the end, we appointed DORITY ROOFING of Pacific Grove to do the job. The initial meetings we had with Monique and Kasey (the owners) gave us the level of confidence we were looking for. No matter what opinions/research you receive or undertake, the actual decision is, by its nature, a leap of faith that what is promised will be delivered.

Dority were not the cheapest, but their professional approach, detailed timeline and seamless service gave them an edge over the competition. We duly signed a contract to have 3/4 inch Canadian cedar shakes installed alongside nine new Vellux skylights, with extensive copper flashing. The date for starting the installation was agreed.

On the first day, as the sun came up, they came out of the West - THE FOUR MUSKETEERS - Wayne, Jose, Ruben and Jorge. The work they did for us was beyond first class. Nothing, and I man NOTHING was too much trouble. Their workmanship was truly marvelous. They cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day and gave us a roof that really does our cottage justice. Kasey was there first thing every morning to meet with his Musketeers and ensure that everything was progressing as planned.

They were friendly and had a genuine pride in their work that reflected in the finished roof. We would recommend Dority Roofing to ANYONE that is looking for a company that truly delivers what it promises.
