Done-Rite Roofing just finished replacing my roof, and they did a fabulous job. I am SO glad I hired these guys! They are experienced, reliable, professional, go above and beyond, communicate well and do quality work. When re-roofing, you want people who are easy to work with and know what they are doing. With this team, I had a lot of confidence.
I live in a Streng home, and Fred and Tim are specialists with this style of roofing. They were competent, punctual, friendly, and are good people.

They showed up when they said they would and I was amazed at the quantity and quality of the work the two of them did every day. The addressed particular issues unique to my roof by adding extra down spouts, replaced unexpected dry rot, as well they provided great resources to replace the skylight and down spouts as well as a painter! We recently purchased a flat roofed Streng home which needed a roof replacement. After getting a couple of quotes from other roofers I got in touch with Fred from Done Rite. Fred stopped by and gave me a lot of information on the TPO/membrane roof technology and it's benefits over other flat roof options. He showed me several examples of the work they have performed as Done Rite has worked on over 400 Streng homes over the years. Fred reviewed our situation and broke down exactly what needed to be done to get a new TPO roof installed on our home. Fred and Tim showed up early every day and got the job done quickly. After the installation I immediately noticed a huge temperature difference in our home. On a hot day the home stays in the low 70's with the AC only powering on by late afternoon. Was referred to Done-RIte Roofing by a couple of my neighbors, as we have similar style roofs with not much slope, typical of many Streng homes built in the Sacramento area in the 60's and 70's. Aside from the tear-off crew removing the old roof, Done-Rite is a two person business, Fred and Tim who have been in the trade many years. They appear to be experts at the rigid insulation / reinforced membrane roofing system, which is also used in many commercial applications. They certainly know their craft and from my perspective strived to to do the best install possible. They were quick to consult with me on any preferences I might have, and explained the details of this type roofing system and any issues specific to our house. As there is always quite a bit of commotion in having an old roof removed and a new roof installed, my wife and I felt that the overall job was completed with a minimal amount intrusiveness. I would have no reservation in recommending Done-Rite to anyone with a similar style roof.

Anyway, to the roofing, here's my story: Done-Rite just finished up re-roofing my house and I'm very happy with the job they did. I have one of the low-pitch roof Streng Brothers homes from the early 60's. Done-Rite specializes in these flat roof type homes. Over the years they have done most of the roofing jobs on the houses in my neighborhood. Everyone I spoke too here is very happy with their roofs. I also did some investigating and climbed up on a neighbor's roof to see it for myself before I contracted with Done-Rite.

I put off getting a new roof for some years now, worrying every winter about leaks. I did have a leak in one portion of the roof, and I painted it with that Henry's sealer a few years back. That lasted about a year and I've been tarping it over ever since. What a pain that was! So I finally decided to have the work done this year. I'm so glad I did.

The owners Fred and Tim did all the work themselves except for the initial demolition of my old roof which was done by a big crew the first day. Fred and Tim replaced dry-rotted wood and installed all the new material themselves. The new roof is a Carlisle ""Sure-Weld"" TPO system. Look it up online. It is a proven material complete with insulation that also is used on many commercial buildings.

I was very impressed with their work ethic. They showed up when they said they would and I was amazed at the quantity and quality of the work the two of them did every day. The addressed particular issues unique to my roof and solved problems as they went. They are very experienced. The entire job duration from beginning to end was just over one week. I'm so glad I contracted them instead of a younger crew who would be learning on the job! Fred and Tim are professionals with years of experience.

My new roof is BEAUTIFUL! It's white and pristine. I can't wait for the first rain to come now. I am recommending Done-Rite Roofing to my neighbors and to you. I feel like I definitely got my money's worth from them. I'm pretty confident that I won't have any leaks for at least the next 20 years! I love it. And there you have it.

Great roof! I have a Streng home (flat roof) and the stuff they use acts like a Doe-Boy pool - it doesn't matter if water sits on the roof and that's always been a problem with flat roofs. They use good insulation, too. My SMUD and PG&E bills have decreased approx, 30%. When I purchased my home it had a foam roof - this is head and shoulders above that!

Done-Rite Roofing just finished installing my new roof. They did an excellent job from start to finish. They were friendly, efficient, responsive to my requests, cleaned up after themselves every day and the roof itself is top quality. Oh, and it's much cooler in my house now. Tim and Fred installed a new roof on my home. They did a great job. They were both very professional. They said that my dryer vent should be cleaned and did it for free.... It's a beautiful roof.
They left my home and yard in pristine condition.
Way to go guys.....
