My father built a room on the back of the house 30 years ago and I noticed water intrusion when Bertha blew through. I reached out to three different roofing companies and received estimates for repairs. Of the three reps who came out to look at the porch roof, Rob from DLV was the only one to make careful measurements of the two skylights that are in the porch roof. DLV did not provide the cheapest estimate, but I chose them because I thought they would provide the best work and the best value. Boy, am I glad I did. In two days I had a new roof and the porch is now water tight. I was up on the roof sometimes during the work watching Ilio and his crew install the new roof. Seams were heated properly and rolled and bonded. New flashing around the chimney was installed 1"" into the brick. Double layers of TPO were installed where seams met. These guys were extremely thorough in doing everything they could to waterproof my roof. The team exceeded my expectations when they built two boxes which they installed below my skylights which caused me to not have to make any cosmetic improvements to the skylight boxes. I am pretty handy myself; I was very pleased with the level of craftsmanship and professionalism of Ilio and his crew from DLV. If I have future roofing needs, I know I will be going back to Rob and DLV.

DLV roofing recently replaced our large roof, which was 18 years old and showing signs of wear. Jon Boggs, one of the owners and extremely personable and helpful, visited our home on Seabrook Island to give an estimate. He explained various options, and we went for a Landmark Pro asphalt shingle that was heavier and presumably more durable than the one it replaced. Our new roof is guaranteed for wind speeds up to 130 mph. The warranty is transferable once if we sell our home within a 15 year period. The workmen were careful and minimized disruption of our daily lives during the 3 to 4 days it took to deliver materials and install the roof. Jon returned to check and complete cleanup after the installation process. We were very pleased with DLV roofing and would use them again. Hopefully, this roof will last at least 20 years.

My wife and I just had our roof replaced by DLV Roofing, and dealt with the owner, Jon. Our experience could not have been better.

Jon was very friendly, and was available to answer any questions we may have had. This is our first home, and first roof replacement, and he was willing to answer any question, or explain any issue in a very professional manner.

The work DLV did is phenomenal. We are extremely happy with our new roof. Jon did a great job of walking us through the process of picking an appropriate shingle color/design for our house, and it looks great.

We had an unfortunate issue with some damage to our AC unit in the process of installing the new roof, but Jon was immediately willing to take responsibility for the mishap, and it was fixed within one business day. Not one time in this process did he make my wife or I feel like we were an inconvenience, or that he did not care about us having our AC repaired. In fact, he made sure that the work was done the same day rather than having to wait 24 hours. Having a small child in the house, and it being a 93 degree summer day, this was very appreciated. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.

I would absolutely recommend DLV to anyone needing roof work or a roof replacement done. Their prices were very reasonable, and the work came with extra warranties as compared to their roofing companies in the Lowcountry area.
