Had several leaks after the big storm in April. Tried contacting several roofing companies with no response. Then I got in contact with Discovery Roofing. Sheldon called back in 5 minutes and inspected the trouble areas thoroughly and explained what he recommended and why. Easy to talk to and very friendly and professional. Within a week he provided a reasonable estimate that addressed all the leaks. On the scheduled day, his crew came and started on time. Sheldon arrived too to make sure the work was progressing as planned They removed a pv panel to repair one leak. They added flashing that was missing and sealed the flat roof in the back of the house where water had penetrated. Then they coated the roof with silicone coating to prolong the life of the roof. Left the area clean and their work is under warranty. Would highly recommend for all your roofing needs.

I had them resurface a relatively flat roof and have found them to be very efficient, friendly, and neat. Shortly afterwards, I had them work on another roof where they did just as well. After nearly 8 years, our roof began to leak directly from the beams where one of our photovoltaic panels was installed. Our original installer sent Joe to seal around the ""legs"" of the panel twice, but it continued to leak. They recommended Discovery Roofing, and immediately Sheldon Kaiama responded and we opted to re-roof the major portion of our roof that was about 25 years old. It took a lot of coordination, because we also opted to upgrade our photovoltaic micro-inverters since the panels had to come down for the reroofing, but with a lot of kokua between our solar company and Discovery Roofing, it was a great success. The Discovery Roofing crew, lead and overseen by Sheldon, were great! They removed a ""fake"" vent over our stove that had been closed up but not removed by our last roofer (:-( !!), and fabricated 5 beautiful replacement vent pipes for the plumbing (don't ask me why plumbing needs vent pipes). They also repaired terrible shoddy patches where the roof they replaced joined the large sloping roof we had installed 4 years ago by our neighbor's retired contractor friend (lesson learned)! In fact, today, they are back to fix a terrible joined area which they determined was not solidly attached to the house, and has allowed leaking down inside the siding!!

We recommend Angel, Sheldon and Discovery Roofing highly! They and their crew are honest, knowledgeable, friendly, fast and very competent! Very happy we found them! MAHALO!

I researched around for different roofing companies and decided to go with Discovery roofing. I was very satisfied with the work that was done. Sheldon was very helpful and took lots of time answering my questions. He was very attentive and made good recommendations. The workers were very professional and they didn't make any loud noises that would disturb the neighbor's. At the end of the project they cleaned up the area really well. I would highly recommend this company.

I obtained 3 quotes, one from DCR, one from Headed Home Roofing, and one from Discovery Roofing. All the estimators I worked with were knowledgeable in their craft, returned my request for an estimate the next day, and were very courteous.

However, only one stood out and provided me with (1) the cheapest cost to redo my garage roof; (2) threw in replacement of several rotted plywood sections and cross-beams for a few hundred dollars more; and (3) offered to paint the replacement plywood and beam sections free of charge if I provided the paint. Now that's added value.

The job was completed in 1 day and it turned out very well. But, besides doing a great job, what' s even more important to me is how well I can trust the contractor to follow through on their commitments and promises. I never knew Sheldon Kaiama until he came to provide me an estimate. I am by nature a very private and skeptical customer whenever it comes to anything that deals with my property. But what I can say with great confidence is that Sheldon and his crew treated me with respect and came through on everything they said they would do for the price they quoted and displayed the honesty and integrity that I was looking for in a lifetime roofing contractor.
