Dil's replaced my roof 5 years ago just before I bought the house. Since then I have had a couple of leaks during heavy rains. Adrian has repaired both leaks in a timely manner. Turns out the leaks were not my roof but runoff from the site where my house connects to another. This is due to non maintenance from my HOA. Dil's did not charge me for the work. Ryan called after the work was done just to follow up on the job. They provided me with before and after photos for my records. I have recommended Dil's to my neighbors who have also had a positive experience. I have only praise for this company.

GREAT QUALITY WORK - EVERYTHING ELSE VERY POOR

Starting with the positives, they do great work paying attention to detail. They replaced a lot of bad wood we had from dry rot and termite damage. Replaced a lot of broken tiles and ultimately giving us a good roof we feel confident it will last us 35 plus years. They also cleaned up all around the house each day before leaving with the exception of the very last day when their electrical guy was here finishing reconnecting our solar system.

The problems that contributed only giving them two stars are multiple frustrating issues from the start to the end of the process getting our good quality roof.

1. Our house is a two story house with almost 1900 square feet. So the roof structure isn't that massive. Our salesperson Chris said at the start the project shouldn't take more than 1-1/2 weeks to finish with normally four guys each day assigned to projects this size. The project took 3 weeks and one day. The project would have taken even longer if my wife and I didn't start pressuring them after 2 weeks.

2. Most days the crew consisted of only two guys. There were only four or more guys on a total of four days during the whole project. Called the Operations Manager Armando during the project on many days that he only had two guys working and the answer was always the same, that guys called in sick and one guy was consistantly having car problems and not able to come to work.

3. The guys were supposed to start each day around 8am, but most days they didn't show up until 8:20am and get started around 8:30am. They all would take 1-1/2 hour lunches. Start cleaning up at 4:30pm and leave for the day at 5pm. Fridays they only worked half days and left at 12:30pm. This adds up to only 32 hour weeks.

I called Ryan the General Manager/Owner expressing my above concerns. Ryan was appreciative of me sharing my concerns and stated that they aren't known to be the quickest roofing company but they are a high quality in workmanship roofing company and assured me when it is done that I will have a roof that will last 35 plus years.

4. In the process of reinstalling and connecting my solar system, they discovered they had damaged some connecting parts that must have happened when they removed the system. Thankfully, all the solar panels were okay. This was on a Friday and I called the Operations Manager Armando to find out what he was going to do since the solar people left for the day. I mentioned I wanted it finished by Monday. Come Monday no one showed up. Called Armando again and he gave me the impression he completely forgot our conversation last Friday and thought everything was done. He said he would call his solar guy and get back with me. He called later and said he would not be out until Thursday and arrive around 9am. I wasn't happy because this added to more days without generating electricity. Come Thursday, no solar guy by 9:20am. I called Armando again. He said he had to call his guy and get back with me. Armando called back and said his guy got delayed at the supplier warehouse and will be at our house around 10am to 10:30am. He didn't arrive until about 12 noon. He finished around 3pm with installing the last solar panel and all the connections. I got on the roof a few days later and discovered old electrical boxes, connecters, cut wires, and a general mess left on the roof by the solar guy. Definitely not acceptable, but decided to clean it up myself because I didn't want to have to deal with someone to come back and wanted to be just done with it and move on.

So, as a result, I do feel I have a good quality new roof. However, experienced a lot of frustrations that the whole project took much longer than it should have. There are hundreds of roofing companies out there and I'm sure can provide the same quality roof, but Dils would not be my recommendation.

Josh of Dils roofing spoke to me today in regards to leaking from the skylight. He responded quickly with 3 options. And I was not pressured to choose any of them and Josh spoke in a calm and professional way not trying to upsell me. I recommend Dils Roofing and ask for Josh.

We have lived in our home for 35 yrs. and we knew we had been pushing our luck on leaks. Called Dils roofing and a very nice and very professional Ryan Dils came out to give us an estimate. The roofers came to start the work and were very good at their job. They worked quickly and efficiently (in the heat) and each day they cleaned up the debris and dust that invariably accompanies getting a new roof. Now we don't have to worry about any future problems with a aging roof. I would definitely recommend Dils Roofing to anyone. Hopefully that nice Ryan Dils will come to give you an estimate too.

Have used Dils since 1985. They are extremely knowledgeable, well versed in various forms of roofing and repairs. Unfortunately, several times, they have had to repair failures in roof design from different developers that lead to significant leaks. Most recently, we had water pouring out of many electrical items (i.e., ceiling speakers, wall outlets, et al). Water and electricity don't mix, so we were anxious to get it addressed. Their crew was clean, prompt, thorough and their estimator made the options clear. I wouldn't hesitate to include them in consideration for your next project.

We highly recommend DILS roofing. We obtained proposals from 5 other prominent roofing companies to have our existing lightweight concrete tile removed and replaced with fiberglass shingles, we also had some flat areas re-roofed with PVC roll roofing. DILS was very responsive, met all of our project requirements, was in line with other proposals we received, and were easy to work with from start to finish. Change orders for additional repairs were IAW the terms of the contract, and processed in a timely manner. DILS also worked well with our solar installer so the solar installation was seamless. We had a few minor follow-up issues with the skylight installation, but I simply placed a call to DILS, and they were on it and corrected the issue within a day. Everybody we interacted with at DILS were very helpful and friendly.
We are very pleased with our new roof and would highly recommend to family and friends.

Our experience with Dils Roofing has been extraordinary. After 3 bad experiences from 3 different companies over the years I thought that's just how all of them are but Dils has proven the opposite. The management was professional and upfront of what to expect time and cost wise and the crew that came out to reroof our 30 year old home was polite and respectful and worked diligently until the work was done. Their work was top notch and everything that was promised was done. They kept us informed and sent us photos on the repairs and replacement of wood that was rotting and removed an old solar panel system. The entire experience was wonderful!! I highly recommend this company and if they have to schedule you a few months out, they are worth 100% worth the wait.!!!

Responsible, professional, and a great job! We needed extensive wood repair due to termite damage, the entire roof repapered, a large section of tile replaced, and to have everything coordinated with a new solar installer. Ryan was great to work with and always on time, kept us updated on progress, and very professional.
