I have contacted Diego Lopez Roofing via text for a week. They asked if I was in a rush and I said no. Just need an estimate to replace ridge caps- single story home. Told them they could come anytime to measure and get back to me with an estimate. No response-no reason. Then asked if it was necessary that I be home-no response. Today I asked them if they were interested or not, just to let me know so I could call someone else. Still radio silence.

WHY I CHOSE DIEGO ROOFING:
1) Locally owned business (Woodland)
2) Owner (Diego) actually performs much of the work, himself. He doesn't sub-out the roof work or employ multiple crews at once, like some.
3) Bid came in @ a thousand cheaper than other local roofers

EXTRA TOUCHS
1) replaced fascia, drip edge, and shingles on a little overhang over our Kitchen window that I didn't consider part of the building's roof, but was greatly appreciated.

2) Spray painted all vents and exhaust stacks to match the roof decore so they blended in

3) Re-attached a solar security light and screwed it into a metal roof vent so that it didn't create another roof penetration.

4) Used leaf blower to disperse all sand/grit from all rain gutters and back patio.

Diego's wife, Mindy was quick to respond via e-mail to all inquiries. They showed up each day on time and completed work on schedule despite a 3-day weekend.

The tear off crew that tore off the old roof tarped off all bushess, garage door, and front porch. They moved deck chairs and BBQ out of the way. They even performed some light tree trimming (which was a bonus) in order to give themselves enough room to work.
I appreciated this, because it will actually make my yard maintenance easier in the fall. They swept up all debris and I have yet to find a single stray nail or staple around my property.

Diego Lopez communicated all start and stop times. Asked special permission to show up at 7AM in order to avoid the afternoon heat. Something that I appreciated because my 4yr. old doesn't like surprise noises.

As mentioned, Diego rebuilt the fascia boards, drip edge, and shingles over a small overhang outside our Kitchen window - an extra that I don't recall being listed on the work order but was appreciated even though it was not technically part of the building's roof.

On the last day, Diego's crew used a magnetic mop to catch any stray nails and used a leaf blower to disperse any grit/sand.

As mentioned, they spray painted all exhaust stacks and vents a gray color to match the decore of the roof shingles so they blend in with the rest of the roof.

From the start Diego hurried over from Davis ca to woodland to get me a quote. I had a quote the next day with everything clearly spelled out in a standard contract forum. The roofers came on a Thursday tore off the roof in 3.5 hours and cleaned up their mess. The gutters where put on the same day. Friday Diego worked all day repairing dry rot. Diego was here with a full crew Saturday and completed the job. The final price was on tract exactly how the contracted price listed. The flashing around the chimney got cleaned up and the plumbing jacks got new caps they also installed attic vents. Diego did a professional job from start to finish he has a strong work ethic and it shows in the final product, thanks again Diego.

I am so amazed by these guys! They got here Tuesday, and will be finished today. They are so courteous and respectful. They have cleaned up everyday. They have gone out of their way not to inconvenience us. The roof looks amazing! We would recommend these guys in a heartbeat!

Detached garage in Woodland CA. Diego and his crew were terrific to work with. He gave us a good quote, answered our questions, and did a great job. They tarped everything around the garage and cleaned up so well that we did not find even one piece of old roofing or any nails after the cleaned up. A great local company that does fantastic work.

These guys not only do quality work (in masks!), they were careful with their equipment and aware of my plants, landscaping etc. Fantastic results and so happy with the way they worked. Icing on the cake: they swept the pathways and cleaned up all of the areas to make it cleaner than they found it. They are super busy, but definitely worth the wait!!

Had a roof put on in my El Macero home and was extremely pleased with the workmanship and quality of the job. Everything went on schedule once we got the inspector to come out because of the virus situation. The roof looks great

Thank you Diego. We selected you based on price and schedule and reviews found online. You exceeded our expectations throughout the process. Actual working time was 3 hours to remove the roof and 2 days to install the new roof with some uncovered rot that had to also be repaired.

The roof looks great to me, but what do I know. The town inspector complimented your work when he came to do the final inspection and said that your work was always top notch.

I would recommend Diego to anyone in need of a roof.

The only improvement Diego can make is communication as the date of work approaches. They gave an estimate and met the estimate, but we didn't get confirmation that they were going to start work until a couple days before when I reached out. Other than that, everything was excellent.
