Diamond Roofing repaired a roof leak we had a few years ago, so I called them again when we got a new leak. This is how that whole process went:

I called their number. Someone picked up right away, but then told me they only take appointments via email.

I hung up and wrote an email.

12 hours later, I got a reply offering two options: 1) provide a proposal for permanent repairs, or 2) do a temporary repair, and then follow up with a proposal for permanent repairs.

I replied that I wanted to make an appointment for a permanent repair.

Two days later, I got a reply that they can't do permanent repairs without knowing what the main issue is first, and to let them know which option I wanted. I thought I'd made it clear I wanted the first option, but okay then.

I replied and clarified I wanted the first option.

Two more days later, I got a reply that they could have someone out next week, in six days' time.

I replied to confirm and asked if they had an estimate for what time the person would be here.

I never got a reply. Today was the day they were supposed to be out. No one showed up, and I never heard anything again from them.

If you're looking for good customer service, I definitely encourage you to look elsewhere. If you're looking for good work ... well, I couldn't even tell you, since I couldn't get past their subpar customer service.

I selected Diamond Roofing to replace my cedar shake roof with a fire retardant urethane shake on my 95 year old Tudor home. Very difficult project. Tear off, install plywood sheeting, paper and shingles. They also replaced my very old copper gutters.
From scaffolding to completion of the punch list, they were reliable, efficient and skilled. I highly recommend Diamond Roofing for any roofing project.

Diamond Roofing was fantastic from start to finish.

Fred, the owner was the most experienced, informative and flexible of the six who bid our 2,400SF re-roof. Their estimate was just below the average. Only Diamond did research and came up with a solution that saved $3,700 in roof insulation replacement costs. Rochelle and the office staff were easy to work with and accommodating. The company honored their original bid after we had to delay, despite cost increases during the pandemic. Their superintendent, Carlos, was just awesome - very knowledgable and responsive. The foreman on the job clearly explained all wood damage and tried to keep repair costs down. They were nice enough to install a skylight at no cost! The sub they used for beam replacement was professional. At times, clean-up outside and minimization of debris during ceiling exposure could've been more thorough. A friend who owns many properties was quite complimentary of Diamond's work and materials choices, and he is not easily impressed. I highly recommend Diamond Roofing.

Our second amazing roof replacement by Diamond Roofing. All work was on time, professional, perfect workmanship. Courtney and Rachelle answered and resolved any questions immediately. Scheduling was efficient and crews were always on time and cleaned up well each day.
Thank you again, Fred Marion, for a fair and reasonable estimate and for sticking to it. By the way, they replaced 16 skylights as well as the roof of our condo bldg. Awesome company. You won't regret using Diamond Roofing!!!

Have a small roof leak that leaks sometimes when it rains. Had them come out to fix it but they said the entire roof needed to be replaced. I didn't hear back from them to get an estimate for an entire week. Then they called to get my email. In the meantime I had called another company who came out and provided an estimate to fix leak and set up day to have repair done.

Just starting research for re-roof of relatively small 1 story home. I was very pleased with my initial call with Tram. She was so personable and is a great voice for Diamond Roofing.

Luke came out to inspect our roof today (4-13-21). My wife and I both greatly enjoyed discussing the specifics of our situation with him.

We're not the type of people that automatically go for the cheapest bidder. And we're getting 4 bids for our re-roof. We're really hoping their bid is on the lower end due to our interactions with Diamond Roofing so far.

While I wasn't the owner nor the person who hired Diamond Roofing, I am the person who lived in the house while the work was being done and wanted to share my experience from a renters point of view.

When I heard that we needed a new roof, needless to say I was dreading the work being done - especially because I work from home and have a young pitbull pup and just imagined the endless barking, noise and disaster that was to come. While there was some noise and a little barking, my experience couldn't have been any more different that the nightmare I originally imagined.

Day 1 - D-Day as i referred to it. A massive team showed up early to start ripping off the roof. I had planned ahead to take my dog to daycare that day but wasn't running behind and hadn't left the house before their arrival. I asked if they could hold of draping the backyard until I could get my pup out to potty/leave and they were happy to do so. They were nice enough to greet my pup as we left (she LOVES people but some folks shy away from her breed) - something I really appreciated as I don't want her to be afraid of workers who will be around all week (or so i thought).

I couldn't believe the progress made in day 1!! Demo was done and new roof work had already been underway by the afternoon. I was impressed with the thorough clean up job done after ripping down everything, something I'm especially sensitive to with a dog that puts EVERYTHING in her mouth.

Day 2 - As soon as my pup saw/heard the workers arrive, she was on edge. I had asked if they needed access to the backyard which they did not, so I spent some time out back with her, treating her as I spoke to one of the guys on the roof (trying to let her know it was ok/not to be afraid). He was SO nice, spoke to Riley (my pup), talked about his pitties at home and after about an hour or so of curiosity, Riley calmed down for the rest of the day (AMAZING!). It meant a lot to me that this person who clearly had a lot of work to do was so patient with my pup and took the time to help me put her at ease.

I realize this review talks a lot about my pup - but I'm sure any dog owner has shared concerns or dealt with headaches while handling home projects. Safety and consideration extend beyond humans when it comes to the Diamond Roofing, and for that I am truly grateful. Beyond that - the work was done in a little over 2 days?!!! UNBELIEVABLE! And while of course there was unavoidable noise that comes with getting a new roof no matter who does the work, I was hardly put out despite having a massive team on site (which obviously is how they are able to work so quickly and efficiently!).

And while I did not hire them, I know the owner received a few bids as I was here when they came out to quote the project - which must mean they are priced competitively. The owner was extremely happy with the work they did and both her and I highly recommend the team at Diamond - they truly are a gem ;)

During the horrific Santa Ana winds in December, my skylight had a piece that was cracked, snapped off. I contacted at least 3 other roofing companies that replaced skylights before contacting Diamond Roofing. What made me go with them was their business longevity and the reviews. Tram, the scheduler, was so nice and sympathetic to my situation. We were able to get a project manager to do a site visit days after me calling and not weeks like some companies. Thomas my project manager was extremely, professional and knowledgeable. He was prompt and immediately got to work taking the proper measurements. He answered ALL of my questions. The wait time for installation was quite a wait as I'm sure my project was very low on the totem pole for size and this company is very busy even during the pandemic . In addition, I took in consideration a major holiday as well. Communications with the company were mainly driven by me as I kept calling to check status on where I was in the queue plus my concern for leaking during the rains. Before we got our last major storm, the guys came through and installed my skylight. Joe, the site manager contacted me because he wanted to get it done before the bad storm came the next day. He and his team were absolutely wonderful. I was at work but he sent videos and pictures of work in progress for me to review. I can not tell you how glad I am I went with this amazing company. One this is for sure, their name says it all ""Diamond Roofing "". Top of line professionals, knowledgeable technicians, and courteous office support personnel. Support this business!! You will not he disappointed!!! Thank you guys again!!

I needed maintenance work on the roof and received quotes from multiple roofing companies. Diamond Roofing quote was not lowest, but they gave me a good impression of being honest and professional. They did an excellent job on my roof and I am happy with the result. I highly recommend their services.
