Had a roof leak with all of the recent rain. Contacted Adam Cook with Dennis Cook Roofing. He was able to come out on a Saturday (in between rain storms) and provided a fair price and the repair was done the same day! I have already referred a couple of people to contact Adam at Dennis Cook Roofing for their own projects.

It's difficult in a situation like this when one has minimal experience and it's like going to a mechanic were you could get robbed blind if you're not in the hands of trustworthy people. Three roofing quotes came in very close together. Adam Cook met me on behalf of Dennis Cook roofing and was very patient in answering questions and making suggestions. Three bids came in with almost identical pricing. Adam instilled the most confidence and was the most thorough so we went with him. Demo crews were there within days and did a great job of cleaning up after themselves. Crews coordinated their work seamlessly with the solar project team. New shingles look great, Adam didn't charge us for all the extras he could have and we're very happy with the results!

I called and spoke with Dennis to have them come out and do an estimate on replacing a skylight on my house. He asked if I could just go up on my roof and take some pictures and email them to him as they were too busy to come out and he could just give me an estimate by looking at the pictures. First thought was WTF, I'm wanting you guys to come do the estimate so I don't have to climb around on my roof. Anyways, I get home and climb up on my roof to take a bunch of pictures and I send them in a reply to an email Dennis had sent me. A few days go by and I get no response. I email again asking if he received the pictures and again, no response. Don't waste you time with these guys.

After checking out a number of companies I was impressed with Adam Cook who came out to give me an estimate for preparing our roof for the El Nino! Hired! It was done within a week of the estimate and before and after pictures followed. Invoice emailed and check was in the mail. Job complete and we weathered the storm! I called Dennis Cook Roofing about a repair job on an addition to my house. After speaking to Josh,who was very professional,courteous and upfront about their busy schedule. He informed me that he would try to make time for an on-site estimate on my job. I discussed the matter with my girlfriend and we decided that in addition to the repair work that we should get an estimate on the entire roof. Hours later Dennis called and after relaying the info about the repair work,he then told me that they were very busy and that the job was too small and not enough money, and that I should call someone else to do the job. So it seems their advertisement ""from small repair or full roof replacement"" is at least half true. When I told Dennis that I was considering an estimate on the entire roof, he then said that they might be able to squeeze me in. I understand about having a busy schedule, but to be blown off for not being worth enough money, to being told that they ""might"" be able to squeeze me in is disappointing and shows a lack respect for customers. I can""t attest to their quality of work because they did""t seem to want mine.
