I needed an emergency roof repair and Dennis went out of his way to squeeze me in his busy schedule and completed the job promptly and efficiently. His rate was reasonable. Dennis really knows roofing and I would not hesitate to use Denco Roofing again.

Just wanted to give some useful feedback for people. When he came out to do the estimate, he said the job would probably be less than $500. We got the written estimate $550 through snail mail almost 2 weeks later, and he ended up charging $550 for LESS THAN AN HOUR's worth of work. I don't think he used any new materials. Just used some tools to bend up the edges of the metal valley and put mastic (patching material) on an area where 2 nails had gone through the underlayment. I did do a test run with a hose for 10 min, and it checked out ok. We will see if this fixed the problem in the long run - hopefully.
He told me about 25 times he's been in business for 39 years (he yells that at you when he's going to do something you don't like), and that he goes up on the roof himself. He's ornery. He says he doesn't give a written warranty, but he will come back and do the work for free if anything goes wrong with his repair.
He does show up on time. He doesn't use text, email, or voicemail... just phone calls and snail mail, so be prepared for that. It took almost 2 weeks for him to come out to do this job. He's reluctant to give references - makes a big deal that you didn't ask him BEFORE you chose him for the job, so ask him before he even gives an estimate.
The original roofer refused to fix the problem, so I put up with it to get the job done. I wonder if I should have gone with the roofer who would have charged $800 for laying new underlayment on 2 whole sections of the roof.
This is not a fake review, and I have more than 0 friends.

Denis from Denco Roofing did a great job on a roofing project for a home I recently purchased. He responded quickly, came out and did an inspection and provided a very reasonable quote, and then completed the job. Denis has well over 30 years of experience, and he did not subcontract. I highly recommend his services!

Tried calling several local roofers for a small repair job (one loose tile and three cracked tiles), and Dennis was the first person to respond.

He was able to come out the next day for an estimate, and the work was done a week later. Very fast and professional.

He also did a good job matching tiles in the front of the house by moving some tiles from an out-of-sight location at the back of the house. This allowed a perfect color match for the replacement tiles visible from the street, instead of a mismatch which might be visible if he put the brand new replacement tiles in with the 10-year-old tiles. Very clever!

The bill was very reasonable, matching the estimate with no surprises. And the price was better then competing estimates.

I called Dennis because we were told that we had issues with our vent cap by the heating company. Dennis came out even though it had been raining on and off and told us told us there is nothing wrong with our vent. Dennis is very reliable and honest. I plan on keeping his number in case I ever need a good roofer. Amazing customer service and very professional! Thank you Dennis and I will tell all my friends about your outstanding service.

After a pleasant conversation with Dennis about my situation he came out the following weekend with his mom to inspect my roof. I had a little job on an old roof, the installation of an exhaust fan. The project stumped my ""general contractor"" and his helpers. Other contractors were not interested in a small job on an old concrete tile roof that might be too fragile to walk on. Plus, my tile was an old type that was no longer available. Denco Roofing of La Mirada tracked down a visually similiar tiling product and did my roofing job without a flaw. I had full confidence in Denco Roofing, and they did such a good job. No leaks! They showed up on time and worked clean. My questions were answered logically and honestly. Yea for Denco Roofing!
