Del Rio Roofing is putting a new roof on one of the buildings at my facility as I type. They were recommended by my boss' realtor son- who uses them often and so far are doing a terrific job. This is a difficult situation because the workers have to work around people coming in and out of the facility all day. They are courteous and move vehicles when they need to.

I honestly have not heard any country music blaring. There was Mexican music that I heard when one of the trucks came in but it ended when they shut the motor off in the vehicle.

Ignacio (owner) speaks perfect English as do one or two of the other workers. ALL the same workers each day. If I want an answer to a question or wonder why something is being done, I don't ask the workers. They are doing what they are told to do. If Ignacio is at another job, I simply call the office or Ignacio on his cell phone and get the situation straight in my mind.

A few months ago we had Del Rio Roofing redo our roof and install all new gutters. They came in, took off the old shingles, replaced the boards that were water damaged and then re-shingled, all for a very reasonable price. We were especially impressed with the gutters, they had a big machine where they feed the aluminum with gutters coming out the other side, so they can make the gutters to the exactly size needed, and the results were exactly what we wanted.

Del Rio Roofing was referred to me by my realtor. I had them come and give me a quote and I also got 3 other quotes. I chose Ignacio from Del Rio based on the excellent price as well as the great referrals. The roof came out beautiful and the workers were courteous and friendly. They worked efficiently and with a great deal of care when it came to cleanliness. I would definitely recommend Del Rio Roofing company to anyone that needs a new roof!!

Del Rio Roofing put a new shake roof on our newly remodeled home in Menlo Park 13 years ago and did a terrific job. We had a leak last winter due to some low hanging trees that caused the shakes to rot (oops!), and they came out to fix it for a very reasonable price. The were quick, courteous, and spoke very good English. Could it be that they only use their own crew now instead of subs? I don't know, but just felt I should leave a good review for them based on our 13 years of satisfaction with this company.

Del Rio just finished a roofing project on my home. They removed three layers of old shingles and installed a new roof and all that goes with it.

At first i was concerned about using them because of the two negative reviews here on Yelp, but his quote was competitive and i liked Ignacio, the owner, very much. He had a very straightforward manner about him and he used his own crew for all of the work, which was very important to me. No subcontracting and no day labor, not even for the tearoff!

I checked with my realtor connections and they all gave him a five star rating. I asked him about the negative reviews and let me just say here that there are two sides to their stories.

I could not be more pleased with the job - his crew was courteous, clean and FAST!! Even my neighbors were impressed and they've all asked for his name for future reference should any of them need roof work. Please do not let those few negative reviews turn you off.

I had Del Rio put a new roof on my house. They were fast, inexpensive, and friendly, and their estimate was spot on. Of course, I won't know until the rainy season how the roof holds up, but the inspector signed off with no problems. They were also very good about working around other workmen who were at the house while they were there.

WE have used Del Rio Roofing twice. Once over thirty years ago to reroof our house, then just months ago when another reroof was necessary. In both instances their work was superb, their workers knowledgable and polite, and their price very competitive. We would not think of using anyone else!

I strongly DO NOT recommend Del Rio Roofing in Redwood City. They replaced the roof on our house in 2008 and we are unhappy.

The problems include (only some of our issues):
-wrong color --then they tried to charge us $1200 extra for correcting the mistake which they admit they made.
-phone lines cut -- they accidentally cut our phone lines and never notified us. I came home to find the police working with the crew because the lines were down in the street. The crew apparently never told the company until we talked with the company.
-gutters installed poorly -- they came out and fixed (worked but very ugly). The 'fixed' gutter has now totally failed after the Jan10 big rain storm.
-used side of house for bathroom. Owner apologized profusely for this issue.

One neighbor had used Del Rio Roofing successfully prior to us.

Another neighbor used them at the same time and had problems.

We subsequently used U.S. Roofing for another roofing project and are extremely happy with U.S. Roofing.

Wasn't not looking to write a review for Del Rio today, but their reviews came up when I was searching for something else. Had them to a roof for us a few months ago and they did a great job and were very professional. I was concerned about using them because their quote was lower than the others, but they had many good references including people I know and friends of theirs.

They did a good, quick job and did exactly what they said they were going to do. They cleaned up the site every day. The crew didn't speak English, but the owners did. Permitting and inspections were handled correctly.

No leaks here.
