Purchased a home and with the inspection we needed a new roof. Shopped around and got several quotes and tried to educate myself on roofing. After he checked out my roof as part of the free estimate, my experience with Joseph is that he was very honest, straight-forward, and detailed with the different options we had. I felt very comfortable working with him. Turns out he also had the best price. His roofers are amazing and did an awesome job. Joseph also provided us with the heavy duty ""cool roof"" shingles, and my wife and I notice a big difference now especially during all this hot weather. The roof passed inspection with the city and we are very pleased.

We chose De Lorenzo's Guaranteed Roofing as he was recommended by a colleague who had his roof replaced. With everything we read and see on television, we are very apprehensive in any contractors' work. Joseph (the owner) gave us an honest estimate which spelled out additional costs if needed and was easy to read. He and his crew came out and replaced the roof and damaged 1X6 wood and fascia board. In spite of finding damaged wood and rebuilding a skylight they had our new roof on in just a couple of days. Joseph is a stickler for quality and safety something you don't see in contractors these days. He took the time out of his busy schedule to come back and ensure that solar panels we had removed and reinstalled were done correctly without damage to the new roof. He went above and beyond what we expected. We highly recommend you contact him for your roofing needs.

So... this may have been 5 stars but we always hope for more. Joey DeLorenzo is a high quality roofer. He is straight forward, honest, hard-working and delivers quality results. I previously had him personally do a garage drain. Now, I have had him do my house (flat) roof. I have no complaints and know the roof was done very well. I would have loved a longer guarantee and a less expensive price (the wood replacement costs caught me a little off-guard but Joey was clear from the start that he couldn't say how much that part would be until he could see the wood, itself) but overall I'm glad I chose him over someone who's work I didn't know.

Joe and his team did a great job installing our new shingle roof. The crew was clean, professional, and they work fast. Our roof was in terrible condition, we had one of those wood shaker roofs. So our house needed all new plywood and new shingles on a two story house. This was a big job but they were able to get the job done. We are completely satisfied with the results.

As a first time customer, Joe took the time to explain how his company works, what to expect when the job starts and when it is done. He took the time to go through the contract with me to make sure that everything was clear to me before he started the job. He was there when I called with questions every single time. So in terms of customer service he delivers.

Price:
De Lorenzo roofing provided me with an honest and clear quote for the job. I had entertained a few other bids where the square footage was wrong, which means I would have been overcharged. Other bids wanted to upswell me with product with a weak warranty. Not Joe, he measured my roof several times to ensure we got the square footage correct. Like I said, the quote was honest and clear. I received the lowest bid from Joe and his team. I'm so glad I went with Joe because other companies were not being honest with me.

Quality:
De Lorenzo roofing did a fantastic job. They made sure everything was up to code. They replaced several planks of wood that were damaged and they took the time to explain why they needed to do it. They went above and beyond in making sure everything was done correctly from the plywood to the shingles, and the flashings. They even made sure to seal the area where the fireplace meets the roof with extra protection to avoid water damage. They were efficient, they moved quick and the job was well done. This was real professional work.

Waited a year (and through our mini El Niño) to write a review of our new roof. It has performed perfectly. Joe's was the lowest bid and best warranty of three bids we got to replace our leaking 24-year-old tar and gravel roof. The job began and ended on schedule, clean up was impeccable, and Joe and his crew a delight to deal with. Highest recommendation.

Our roof was replaced about 6 years ago by a well regarded company in the San Gabriel area.
Shortly after, when the rainy season began it became apparent that there was a leak where the room addition attached to the house. Since we were still under warranty, they came out and repaired it. All was well for years as the drought really didn't allow for a good test. The few small showers this past December revealed that the leak was still there. Interestingly, the roofing company was no longer in business so I called around. With El Nino rains coming soon I found that all the roofing companies were booked for the next 3 months. I called De Lorenzo's and was leaving a VM when Joseph picked up after hearing that my request was for a leak repair.
Joseph explained that his roofing crew is busy as all the other roofing companies but as the owner with 30 years of experience, he personally specializes in roof leaks. So he had no problem coming over within a few days with all his leak repair gear and got the job done right. He claims that he has a knack for repairing leaks and I can now attest to his ability as heavy rains have just tested the roof about 4 weeks after his repair. He wasn't cheap but he did patch about 10 spots that were suspect and spent about 4 hours total from arriving until departure.
The wife griped about the price initially but complimented how good the repair was after the heavy rains. Joseph is the man when it comes to roof leaks. I almost forgot, Joseph guarantees his leak repair for 1 year which is not typical according to him.
