We hired DC&M builders to do an extensive master bathroom remodel.
Project involved removinging two huge corner windows, enclosing the area and adding smaller opening windows, walk in shower, new custom size vanity and flooring.
Mike was the original project manager, project got started, then the delays....
We opted to use Onix shower enclosure which is a custom sized and made on order. Once the order is place, it takes 4 to 6 weeks for those parts to arrive. Custom vanity also had to be ordered, which again took 4 -6 weeks after the final measurements were available.
Sergio and crew did an awesome job in demoing and enclosing that corner of the house, so that AC did not have to work excessively hard to keep the house comfortable.
Unfortunatel in the middle of the project, Mike was no where to be seen or heard from.... No information was coming form the main office... Sergio did not have much information either. They kep doing small bits of work, a few hours at a time, them be absent for a few days.... seemed like no end in sight.
Finally, we were informed that there was a new project manager, KC. We were relieved when we met him, and he laid out the steps towards the completion of the entire project.
Things started moving along... and after 6 months our master bath remodel was completed.
Thanks to KC, Sergio, Mike for initial help in design, Turbo Glass for the shower glass work (even though they had to replace the glass door due to flec in the shower door), and most excellent wood working company (whose name I don't remember - regretfully)....
The only reason for four stars is due to delays and lack of communications during the time of their absence from our project.

We engaged DC & M for a medium sized ""refresh"" of our new home in Palm Springs. KC and crew were quick and responsive from Day One. From demo to clean-up, the team was always on time, always kept us informed and always honest with their projections. Every project has it's hiccups, but KC was quick to provide options and always eager to move quickly on solutions. Note: None of the hiccups were because of the crew or their work... every house has hidden ""surprises"". I would certainly recommend DC & M for any remodeling project... we look forward to working with them again!

I approached this company for a substantial roofing project. I no longer remember how many times I called the company but it was inordinate. I set up two appointments. Both were rescheduled by DC&M, by hours or days or both. What I am clear on is that the company estimators did not have a ladder nor were they intending on walking the roof. Why they came out at all I do not know.

I hired DC & M for a shower remodel in my guest bathroom. I don't live in La Quinta full time and was initially worried about finding a contractor who I was 100% comfortable doing work when I wasn't actually in town. I found that with DC & M. Working with everyone - Sam, Mike, Amelia, Sergio and everyone else was a very easy experience. A lot of the initial planning was via email and text, but I did end up being there for a lot of the work and I was very impressed with how careful they were - putting floor/carpet protection down and cleaning it up daily. The demolition of the old shower took 2 days and they took the time to put up plastic to contain the dust to the bathroom. Once they were done with the demo, there was a delay in the tiles I had ordered, so they were off on other projects for a few days - but they took down all the plastic and left the whole bathroom spotless. If it wasn't for the fact that the shower walls and floor were gone, it was a clean as normal. They could have just shut the bathroom door to contain the mess - so I felt it was a step above to clean it up for those few days- since there are two bedrooms in that area of the house. The person who did the actual tile work (sorry - I forget his name!) really knew what he was doing with my less-than-level wall/ceiling line, and took the time to cut the tiles perfectly. The whole project looks fabulous and is exactly what I had envisioned. I was not there when they finished, but they sent a lot of photos and allowed for final walkthrough for when I returned. I will be using them again for my master bath next spring . Thank you Sam, Mike, Amelia, Sergio and all the crew!

We just finished a total bathroom remodel and are very pleased! We highly recommend DC&M builders. They are professional, very neat and polite. They wore their masks all the time. Mike McFayden coordinated the project and was prompt to answer the phone or any questions we might have. Love our new bathroom, Thank you Mike!
