Trying to line up all contractors for a new house build is hard enough so when contractors actually are prompt and through when dealing with you provides that level of comfort to make the process so much easier!

Brian the owner did just that for my wife and I who have so many other things (young family, work, etc.) to worry about. He is prompt and his attention to details as far as budget and overall look made us feel like we were not being forced into a roof that we had never seen.

His team supplied multiple samples well ahead of time (so that myself or wife did not have to), so that we could find the perfect color in preparation for installation.

DC Roofing of Costa Mesa, CA: DON'T USE THIS OUTFIT!!!
The worst kind of gypsy contractor we had the misfortune to having to deal with in 45 years of property ownership. This outfit was actually hired by our neighbor to re-roof the townhouse next door but we have a 5 x 10 ft common entry roof so we were involved as well.
It rained slightly overnight so they charged an additional $700 to cover the roof with plastic. They installed a substandard torch down roof with only one layer of roofing felt below the cap sheet when two layers are industry standard. There were also problems with the flashings used.
As these problems increased they threatened to add a 10% surcharge unless the invoice was immediately paid in full.
The owner, being inexperienced, caved in and paid before all the work was done and the leaks fixed.
After completion it rained again and the entry roof kept leaking.
They reluctantly came back to fix it but it still leaked. Thereafter they
simply refused to come back. After all they were already paid!
We finally gave up on them and had a more reputable roofer fix the leak
in one visit!
It's all true, so do we need to say more about this horror story??

My husband and I needed a new roof on our new house we purchased and I contacted DC Roofing. There reviews were great and they are correct reviews. Brian and Tomas were great from beginning to end and the roof looks amazing. Both Brian and Tomas were great at communicating and we needed them to work with our solar company and our A/C guy and they were able to make it work! If you need a reliable, dependable and honest roofer I would suggest going with D.C. Roofing.

Let me start with, I went out and got 7 quotes. The prices ranged from 30k to 13k. DC wasn't the cheapest but I enjoyed the people I dealt with during the quote process. I brought the cheapest quote to them and asked for an explanation of why theirs was higher. I got my explanation that made sense and then they matched the price. They set a date and time and the Forman was at my house 45 minutes early on the phone in front of my house making sure everyone else was going to be on time. Everything went as scheduled even with the holiday weekend right in the middle and the city being closed. DC roofing finished ahead of schedule. They offered me the left overs. They followed up to make sure everything was good weeks after. The owner was onsite everyday making sure the Forman was not having any issues that he couldn't handle. I run massive projects across the globe and I was impressed with the customer service and the promptness of the response to my inquiries. They took great care of me and my family! I would recommend them to a friend. Oh wait I did! They have already done work for my friends since then. With great success.

Great roofing company with lots of experience and expertise! I worked with Brian on a bunch of different estimates for a recently purchased home. We ended up contracting them for sealing our AC unit on the roof and all the work was top notch! Brian even repaired a few other minor spots while he was up there for the AC. Definitely recommend them for any roofing needs.

I got 2 quotes for replacing my patio roof. DC roofing quote was $200 less comparing to other company. Brian ( owner of DC roofing) is very responsible person. I am very happy with his work.
