I've been a local real estate agent in Lake Elsinore for over 19 years and I've used Dan's Roofing on multiple occasions for my clients and myself. They've always provided fast service and gotten the job done right. I recently had my personal roof repaired and when the heavy rains hit we got a small leak in another location. I called and they had a crew at my home the next morning and fixed the problem. Dan's Roofing is our ""go to"" roofer. I'd highly recommend them to anyone.

Used them years ago and were great, this time called them Twice and on the 3rd call they said they wrote the phone number down wrong later that day I got a call from another roofing company said they had been referred by dan's and set appointment for next day!

My neighbor provided them to me as a referral for a small roof leak. They did numerous repairs, but during the next rain my small leak was larger. They came out and did another repair. My leak was smaller, but now dripping somewhere else. They came back out and did another repair. During the last downpour, my small leak got bigger. After numerous attempts to get them to come out and fix the issue, I finally called someone else.

Yes, they warranty their work but they never fixed it and made it worse. They committed to come out numerous times and to have the owner call. After the last broken commitment on Monday, I found someone to come out and finally fix it.

When I set out to replace my roof I got 3 quotes. Dan's Roofing was my middle quote. What I liked off the bat was their warranty: 10 years labor/30 years materials. When Chris came over to do the in-person estimate he was easy going, no pressure, took his time and very clear on how the job was going to go. When the work actually began I met Carlos and Trevor. There were more workers but I couldn't memorize all their names. Carlos and Trevor were also pleasant. The day they started with the tear off the guys went to work fast. In addition, they cleaned up as they went. When they left after the first day my house grounds were spotless. The job in total took about 4 days because they had some other matters. We didh't mind it because we knew the reputation and how efficiant and friendly the crew was. To our amazement, there wasn't much woodrot and for the little bit of wood that was needed, Chris waived it. At the end of the job, Chris and I did a perimeter check and he was going to have Carlos come by and do some spot painting. The bill ended up being the quoted price. Chris and all of the staff at Dan's roofing were professional and efficient. They made mine and my wife's investment worth every cent. I give Dan's Roofing an A+ in price, quality, customer service, and honesty. This company is a must for all your roofing needs and I will back their work 100%. Thank you Dan's Roofing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had a great experience with the team at Dan's Roofing! I reached out for a quote to have my roof repaired and they sent someone out the next day to take a look. I appreciated their honesty and advice when I asked ""what would you do"" questions since I was about to put my house on the market. Most other companies tried to upsell me but they gave me the honest breakdown of what was actually needed. Within a few days of my initial phone call, the work was completed! Besides giving me the quote at the best price I'd received, they went above and beyond by taking the time to shoot some before and after pictures for me to use when selling my house. Thanks guys!

This company clearly does not want or appreciate new business! I had them come out to give me a quote on a new roof for a rental property I own and never heard back from them after they came to measure. I even put in a follow up call with them asking for more information and a quote, still no response. Don't even waste your time.

This is my first review so it means a lot for me to take the time to share my experience. I read all the reviews before calling Dan's Roofing to come out and give me an estimate. I was a little weary but decided to give them the benefit of the doubt. When I called Kim answered the phone right away, no answering machine. She made an appt for the next day, and Dave came out and took pictures to show me what I needed. He was thorough, honest and down to earth. No pressure sales like I'm used to when asking for an estimate. I decided to hire them and I'm glad I did. They came out to do the job the next working day and had the repairs completed in a timely fashion. Thank you Chris and all of your staff for making this a smooth and pleasant experience. I will definately use you again in the near future to repair the rest of the roof.

Highly disappointed, I had them inspect my roof, after they inspected the roof they gave me a quote to repair, I excepted the quote, set two appointments for the repairs and they never showed up for either one even though I called to find out what happened with both appointments. Maybe the job wasn't big as they wanted however why set and accept an appointment if they didn't want the job.

Complete waste of time!!! Totally unreliable!!!! The end of August I contacted Dan's roofing to come out and do an estimate on my roof that needed to be replaced. Dave came out looked at the roof did some measurements and told me he would email me an estimate the next day. Next day came and I didn't receive the quote. I waited a few days before I decided to call. Friday came and with it being Labor Day weekend I decided to call the office in the early morning in hopes I could get the quote before going into the holiday weekend. The man on the phone told me to call Dave and gave me his number. I called Dave he apologized and said he's been busy and that he would send me the estimate before the afternoon. I waited all day and still nothing. With it being Labor Day weekend I decided to wait to call the office on Tuesday to follow up. I called and explained how it's been a week and I still have not received an estimate when I was told it would be sent the following day. The same man I spoke with on the phone previously said Dave will be in the office later, ""as soon as he gets in I will glue him to his seat and have him work on it"" were his exact words. The day passed and still nothing. At this point I finally gave up and was not going to call anymore. Well, two days later I finally receive the estimate with several options with different pricing based on which option I chose. It should have been a red flag given how long it took to get the estimate, but after searching unsuccessfully for months for a roof contractor that was able to repair my roof I decided to go ahead and have them do the job. I emailed them back and asked them how do I proceed. Kim responded and said just sign the estimate and we can schedule a day. I explained to her that there were several different options on the estimate and told her which option I was going with and to have them draft up a new proposal so it would be clear to both parties which option I chose. The revised proposal was emailed in a timely manner, however there were some things that weren't clear and so I asked them to rewrite it so that it was clear and more specific. I never received a response I waited for a week still nothing so I emailed Kim to see if she ever received my email. No response! Finally, a week later Kim replies and apologizes for the delay and sent the revised proposal for my review and to let them know if there was anything that needed to be revised. Everything looked good so I signed it and scheduled the roof repair for 10/17/17. On the day of my scheduled appointment I get a call from Dave. He tells me they are running a day behind schedule so they can't start the job until tomorrow if that was okay. I've waited this long what's another day so I said that's fine. Dave said Brian the project manager will come today and take final measurements and make sure they have everything they need to start tomorrow. So Brian arrives takes his measurements then tells me someone from the office will call to set up a time. The whole day passed and no one ever called. All the while I'm wondering what time are they going to show up tomorrow since they never called. Well tomorrow comes and no one ever showed up or even called!!! I never called them because it's not my responsibility and I've had it with this company. Til this day I still don't know what happened as I never once got a call or explanation. I see this as a blessing in disguise! I can't even imagine what kind of job they would have done if they did show up.
