Since our inception in 2011, DaBella has grown into one of the biggest home enhancement service companies in the United States. “Our main goal is to care for families and their homes. We aim to deliver the finest customer experience and foster a positive environment for our expanding team,” stated CEO, Donnie McMillan, Jr. “Our remarkable growth in such a short timeframe is a story worth telling.” This success was made possible by cultivating a culture focused on assisting people in achieving their dreams. This commitment extends not only to the career goals of our DaBella team but also to the homeowners we serve every day.
In our industry, many people aspire to start their own business, usually driven by the pursuit of wealth. But our origin story is different. It features a passionate young family with experience in home improvement who sought to create a different kind of service business. The goal was not just to create a business, but to form an extended family, where employees, suppliers, and, crucially, customers, were included in the family. Coincidentally, the company was founded at the same time the family welcomed twins. Indeed, the company’s name originates from a fusion of their names -- David and Isabella. However, DaBella embodies much more than just a title. Since the beginning, it has been a second family name for our team members. It stands for a business that works on behalf of families.

I contacted DaBella to have my windows replaced. The two sales representatives (Jacob Smith & Richard Hunt) came by on time and they were extremely pleasant to work with. They gave me multiple quotes for different scenarios and they took the time to explain the science behind quality windows.
In the end we didn't nail down a deal but I had a good experience with them.

We needed a new walk-in shower as it had been a long while since we were looking into replacing it.Reuben came over and did a great job explaining the company and the product and made it affordable , that we had him install our upstairs Bathroom as well. Would greatly recommend him in the future.

I contacted Dabella for a roofing quote, Jessie came out to evaluate and work up a quote for the project. She was punctual and very professional. Jessie took the time to perform a thorough inspection and explained all of the features and benefits of the Dabella products and services. Although the price was a bit out of my reach, I do appreciate Jessies level of Knowledge and expertise.

We asked for a shower estimate, and a nice well mannered sales rep came to the house and provided an estimate. Along with the estimate was the usual ""look at our reviews,"" and ""look how reputable our company is"" stuff which was a little drawn out and got old quick. When I started getting irritated was when the estimate was provided. We said thank you, and that was a little more than we expected, and we need to think about it. We made it very clear that all we wanted was an estimate, and that was as far as we were going to go today. That's when the ""Well, I just need to call my manager"" routine started. The salesman clearly became nervous as he hung up with the manager. He gave us the, ""I didn't even know this was possible, but the manager said we could do it for this much"" now. After another round of thank you but no thank you, we will not be signing anything today, the sales man finally said OK. Then he had to make two trips to his car. One for his brief case, and the other for his clipboard. This allowed him to do the manager call again walking back into the house. He finished his call in front of me, acting as if the manager was giving him brand new invaluable information. Except I could hear loud and clear a lot of what the manager was telling him. I was really done when I heard the voice on the phone saying, ""It doesn't matter what he tells you! "" I couldn't make out the rest of it, but it didn't sound friendly or in my best interest. It was pretty clear to me that the salesman was nervous about acting out the sales pitch he was being told to do. So in closing, I have no idea about their quality of workmanship. I might be great for all I know. But if the sales tactics are any indication of how the work will go, I want nothing to do with it.

I just had two door-to-door sales reps come to my door and ring the camera doorbell. One of them seemed to be training the other considering one was very nicely dressed (maybe even overdressed) who I'll refer as Person B and the other, who seemed to be the trainer who I'll refer to as Person A, was just wearing basically street clothes. Since I work from home, I make a habit of not answering the door except in emergencies, as if I'm not home, so I didn't come to the door. It wasn't until my husband who also got the doorbell notification messaged me saying that the people at the door were really rude that I reviewed the footage. Person A rang my doorbell and in doing so made some comment about one of my flower pots which is whatever to me because I understand people have weird fears when it comes to gnomes. Calling it ""nightmare fuel"" might be a bit much but to each their own. What irked me the most was that Person A carried on about how the siding on my house was ""cheap crap"" and that a strong breeze will rip it off. He also whispered some other comment about it to Person B but I wasn't really able to hear exactly what he said. Person B looked a bit uncomfortable with the whole situation.
I understand that my vinyl siding is not the prettiest. But I'm not exactly made of money, I don't have a money tree just shedding the stuff, nor do I have a winning lotto ticket in my back pocket. I wasn't the one who put the siding on the house in the first place either. But what I can say is this siding has lived through 50+ years of neglect, rough storms, and renters and it still cleans up like it's brand new. I've never once had issues with it and I'd appreciate it if a scummy sales person would just keep their rude comments to themselves instead of assuming situations like that and making themselves a poor example to follow. Honestly, I didn't realize this company existed before today but looking at all the reviews and dealing with this experience, I will definitely NOT be looking into any upgrades/replacements through DaBella in the future. Even if I do come up with some extra cash, I'll be finding someone else who is far more respectful of their prospective customers.

I had Debella give me an estimate for a tear out tub, and replace with just a shower today. The 2 reps, David and Semira, who gave me the estimate, were very polite, and very knowledgeable, about their product. I highly recommend them both. THANK YOU!

Young door-to-door salesman stood at my door, no doorbell, no knock just my dog barking at him. When I went to see what the problem was, I kindly referred him to my no soliciting sign which he then proceeded to place a door hanger on my security door and get mouthy about my sign being unconstitutional and told me to look it up. Continued to mouth off as he walked away. Stood in front of my house waiting for his buddy to catch up still talking and motioning in my direction. Regardless if what he says is true or not you think it's the best tactic to talk smack to prospective customers? Based upon his attitude I would never even consider this company. Clearly they're not providing any type of training for their field staff and ultimately if a person has a NO SOLICITING sign on their door, they don't want to be bothered! It's not a green light for anyone to keep peddling their crap because they say it's unconstitutional.

They sent a salesman to present their estimate.
He came up with a proposal more than $10K versus other roofing companies.
That said, I asked for his quote in an email for a cash deal.
The sales rep refused to leave my home and continued his absurdly aggressive sales pitch. I asked him politely multiple times to leave, as he was wasting my time. He wasted hours of my time and wouldn't leave.
I finally said I would call the police if he didn't leave, and it took that
to get him out of the door. On the way out he said, ""This isn't really the way I am, this is what I have to do.""
Avoid these sales reps like the plague.
If he had left when asked and they had sent a reasonably competitive quote, I would have considered them. Now you can see why I'm writing this complaint.

Extremely over priced for a product that looks like plastic. We picked a white shower enclosure that was part of their baseline and it was still $16,000. Wasted our time in a presentation similar to a time share pitch there was 45 minutes before we even pulled the price out of her. My husband and I felt like fools inviting this BS into our home.

DO NOT HIRE DaBella FOR ANYTHING! They should change their name to DaBacle or DaBuyersRemourse.
I hired DaBella to replace my siding and windows on the front of my house. The job started 02-21-2024 and as of today 05-07-2024, the project is still not complete. DaBella hired a sub-contractor to install my siding that did not know what he was doing, did not have a crew, left my home uncovered and exposed to the rain storms we had in March, left cigarette butts, garbage/siding waste in my driveway and all over my yard. He also caused damage to my new roof resulting in roof leaks. I have spent hours cleaning up the garbage so I could at least use part of my driveway. I was in constant contact with DaBella trying to tell them that the sub-contractor was working alone and performing an unsatisfactory job. They would not listen, telling me that he was factory trained and the job would be completed in a timely manner. When they finally listened and actually looked at the work, it was determined that the entire job had to be removed and replaced. I'm sure the only reason they agreed to do this is the original sub-contractor did not have the house inspected!
DaBella's customer service line in no real help either. When I call, the people are understanding but don't actually do anything. I have called several times to speak with Jacob the General Manager of the local branch. They tell me they will put in an urgent message to have him call me by the end of business that day. It has been over a week with no contact from Jacob. I have tried to elevate my dissatisfaction to the regional manager with the same results. How are these people still in business or employed?
The windows were another disaster. They were ordered incorrectly (retrofit instead of new construction) as per our contract and DaBella fought with me for a week about installing the correct windows. When I finally got them to agree, they acted like they were doing me a huge favor by reordering the windows I originally asked for. When the new windows came, the manufacturer sent one window in the wrong size. The installers were able to get 8 of the 9 windows replaced. They did not clean any of the windows or frames and did not caulk two of the windows correctly. Then they pressured me to sign that the job was completed. When I refused, they left without cleaning up. They left broken glass, screws and garbage in my driveway along with all the other garbage from the siding job. They did come back and install the last window on 05-02-2024 and fixed the caulking on the other two windows. They also cleaned up their work area and cleaned the windows.
The worst part is when they actually get around to completing the project, I will have to pay them a premium price for a job I will never be truly happy with. Every time I look at my house, I will think of the nightmare this was. I will have to sell my house to get this out of my head. DO NOT make the same mistake I did!
