If they do your roof, make sure that they cover it before shingles are put on.
And when they cover it, yhat they secure the Tarps..
Lesson learned. It rains in Tahoe..
Double check your contractor.

Never heard more screaming and cackling from workers. Not sure if they are on drugs or drunk, but they don't act normal.

It's unfortunate that others reviews reflect our thoughts, while our rental roof is currently being worked on by this company. All of the previous reviews sound accurate and true, and they have left everyone at our complex feeling terrible. They've cut our cable lines, trampled our plants, broken a myriad of things, thrown their trash around, failed to sweep the driveway (and now I have a nail in my tire,) don't clean up at the end of the day and are incredibly discourteous about allowing the residents in and out of the driveway. BTW- Someone who works here really loves to eat apples and throw their cores in front of our garbage cans.
I imagine the price is right for the property owners, and paying residents just really don't matter anymore.

Called D7 roofing out for a leak on our roof. We are a manufacturing plant in a commercial building, D7 roofing originally installed a membrane roof a few years back for the property owners. After this last storm, we had a leak in our roof. We called D7 and a work order was put in for the repair, we waited and waited and even called several times to ask when the work would be done but all we got was excuses. After several weeks of waiting and another big storm, they finally sent out a 2 man crew to check the leak. They found a leaking roof jack and sealed it with sealant, took 20 minutes of work time. The men left without saying a word, 1 week later we received a bill from D7 for the amount of $1624.75. I called several times to speak with someone about this bill but was always told someone will call me back. After several calls to them and 3 weeks later Nicole called me and basically said too bad, that's your bill. Said drive time, material and labor was totaling that amount but couldn't break down the bill for me. At this point we don't have a choice but to pay the bill and stop using them. I deal with a lot of different vendors everyday, but have never been insulted by such a crooked company before. The roof still leaks and we were robbed by this horrible company. STEER CLEAR of this company, you have been warned.

This company is doing the roof at the Apartment complex that I live at. Their workers are rude and unprofessional. We first had to call our apartment complex manager about them because as they were working on the roof of one of the buildings their workers cat-called my sister as she walked by. Yesterday as they worked on our building's roof they proceeded to throw trash from the roof onto our balcony. When my mother who was staying at the apartment babysitting my 12 year old niece went out to the porch to see what was going on, she made eye contact with one of the workers then she went back into the apartment. The workers then starting laughing and THREW more trash on our balcony including a water bottle, like everything was a big joke. Well it wasn't funny and both my mother and niece were too afraid to leave the house for fear that trash would be thrown at them. I complained to the apartment manager who in turn talked to the man in charge at the site. She also told him to clean off my balcony. I came home after work and they had swept the balcony but they had also ripped a part of siding off the side of the building. Who acts like this? When I called the D7 today and spoke with Mirella Garibay she tried to explain everything away and not once did she apologize for what my sister, mother and niece had to endure. Your website said that you strive to provide craftsmanship, professionalism, and the highest level of customer service. This is not true. Professionalism is not harassing and intimidating the residents of your job sites. Craftsmanship means taking pride in your work and not making a mess to leave for others to clean up. Customer service is apologizing and not making excuses for your employees lack of professionalism, and striving to do better. I will continue to spread the message to anyone who will listen about how unprofessional your company truly is!

D 7 Roofing is a terrible neighbor.
The business is immediately adjacent to a modest residential neighborhood, with many elderly and disabled residents and families with small children. The company takes no responsibility for providing parking for its employees, who take up all the street parking for blocks around. Yes, I've gone over and spoken to the company--four times--to no avail. There is plenty of street parking adjacent to a city park just a block away, but the employees prefer to park in front of our houses, so they don't have to walk that extra block.
I'm 70 years old, I've lived here for 30 years, and now for the first time, I can't park anywhere close to my own house. These young, fit men are so discourteous as to hog all the street parking and leave no place for residents--elderly, disabled, or with small children--to park at or near our own homes.
Just to add to our discomfort, these predominately young males tend to own huge vehicles that take up a lot of space, drive too fast and recklessly, play loud music, and leave fast food litter in our streets. These employees aren't bad people, just thoughtless, but the company has no excuse at all for causing this situation.
I urge anyone considering hiring this company to choose someone else. Please!

D7 Roofing is rude and disrespectful. They were contracted to replace a roof at my rental.
in addition they accomplished about $300 in property damage that they won't take responsibility for it because ""I don't have a witness."" They also treated the yard as a dumpster, left rags with dirty chemicals in it (which the dog presumably consumed and got sick, according to the vet), trampled half the flowers/plants in the yard, (ignoring the cement they should be stepping on, they even parked a generator on the front lawn on top of the lilies!), they destroyed the side-gate latch trying to push their way in when it was locked, causing damage to the latch and gate, All in all, I could not say enough negative things about them. They also created tensions with the landlords because they misunderstood a city inspector rescheduling an unscheduled visit to inspect smoke/CO detectors and took it to mean that they could not work until he came inside. As to the quality of their work, I doubt their workers have much training- their craftsmanship leaves a lot to be desired, they left rusty nails, screws, etc all over the property (my girlfriend's shoe was impaled by one, luckily it missed her foot), they took 3 times longer than they said they would to complete the job, and they let all kinds of garbage come into the laundry room because they took out the skylight and couldn't afford to tape a trash bag or a tarp to the hole.
I could go on and on, but I will summarize this in two words:
STAY AWAY!
Also, according to the only other review up here they are just a rude and disrespectful business overall.

D7 roofing employees use residential streets around their location on 23rd street as a parking lot for their employees vehicles and company trucks, blocking the actual residence from using their curbside parking. Employees trample down neighborhood lawns are they stage tools and products while loading and unloading for daily work jobs.
Any company that treats their neighbors this poorly send me a clear message of how badly they they will likely treat complete strangers who dare to hire them.
