We were looking forward to working with DA construction, but sadly we could not even schedule them to see the job. My wife and I were looking to have our floors redone and had scheduled DA construction for a quote. For some reason they did not show up to our scheduled appointment.

I read the reviews on how they treat customers like family but all I am seeing is poor time management and unwillingness to communicate.

I work out of town around 1.5 hours and had rearranged my schedule to meet with them. Got home on time but the owner didnt show up, gave him a call and he claimed being ""tired up"" so we reschedule for the next day. Again I made adjustments to my schedule and no show, called the owner and no answer or return call.

I see it as a common cutesy to keep customer informed of appointments, if they were unable to find time that's find but to be ghosted is possibly the most childish and unprofessional outcome I know of.

We compromised when we bought our new house that in order to get the one I wanted, it would need some major updating. We ended up taking out an fha 203k loan when we purchased to get a jump start on the biggest projects. We had contacted 4 businesses in town for bids. 1 said they couldn't touch a kitchen for less than $50,000. 1 never showed up to the appointment for estimates. 1 was 3 hours late and then bid us very general figures and wouldnt get specific. DA construction was the only company that broke things down line by line, had reasonable pricing, and a personable project manager. We ended up going through this process to get the loan and needed lots of signatures and stuff from the company. Our project manager was always really polite and never complained even when our lending agent dropped the ball and created delays, extra paperwork, etc that effected our project.

We ended up deciding on a kitchen remodel, a closet remodel, a new sliding door to the master, and a few other very minor tweaks (adding a few outlets, etc). I had a vision that was pretty good, but we worked together to brainstorm a few of the design solutions that I'm absolutely loving! We were working with a fairly tight budget and I'm also really hands on when it comes to DIY (I like to do some of my own house stuff! It's part of the fun) so we installed the floors, painted the walls, bound the appliances we wanted, and did most of the baseboard ourselves. DA did everything else and I love the way it turned out. There were a few delays and minor bumps along the way, but our project manager ALWAYS made sure we were happy with the end result. Overall it was a good experience! Sounds corny but it is true - When you deal with DA construction, you are treated like family, probably better in many cases. Daniel and Team have helped many of my customers With there Tenant improvements projects on there new business that they opened and or remodel. I doubt there are many firms in the entire country that are genial and comfortable and just plain nice. Also, they explain everything in as much or as little detail as you want and all those details are laid out in an organized and thorough fashion. Everyone there is super professional. They are a treasure.

Excellent Service. We hired D A Construction to remove and rebuild a large fence in the backyard of our house in Bakersfield. Daniel responded right away and gave me a very reasonable quote the next day. As soon as we gave him approval to start, they were on it. The work was completely quickly and professionally. They did a great job! Daniel and his team gave us excellent service and I would highly recommend them!!

I had a break in at my business and I really wasn't sure where to start with finding someone to do repairs. Daniel got back to me quickly and gave me an estimate the same day. Once I had the estimate I had to wait for my insurance to approve it and Daniel wasn't pushy at all and waited for me to contact him to move forward. He understood how important it was for me to get my business back up and running as soon as possible and got me on the schedule the next day. His team of guys (Aristeo, Irving, & Luis) were super nice and actually completed the job in one day, which was way faster than expected. They even took the time to clean the room and furniture when they were finished. I would definitely recommend them and look forward to giving them more business in the future!

Daniel basically completely remodeled a 3bd/2ba rental property for me that was trashed by the previous tenant. He handled essentially a full kitchen remodel (cabinets, counters, etc), window/door installs, all flooring, painting, and numerous other repairs and replacements throughout the property., His communication and quality of work was superb, and he handled several necessary changes to the original bid fairly and efficiently. Highly recommended, really one of the best experiences I've had in a renovation project.
