Very unprofessional.
I dealt with Rob Mooney, which I would run form him. Very unreliable.
I got the job scheduled.
Went to the office to pay for the job.
Told the I have a driveway with a ditch on both sides. Do not block the driveway. Please put the roofing on the grass. I have 3 vehicles and not much room.

Today I came home and the material was blocking the access to the majority of the driveway. I had to get out after no help from cypress roofing and move the shingles by hand to the grass to park.

Then Rob, wanted to argue with me about this request not to block my driveway. I also spoke to the people in his office that work with the sales people to make sure they don't block the driveway.

He they wanted to cancel my contract and charge me a fee, even when they canceled the contract.

This company is very shad their business practices and Rob Mooney, will not be around to setup the job.

They are a disaster and run from these people.

Really lack of someone managing the roofing replacement process and no one listens. When they make mistakes it is everyone's problem, but theirs.

They talk a good game but they don't tell you everything. I was left with a big bill!!!so please dot you eyes and cross your T's just like they have a commercial comes on saying about the horse and the mule well that ver true I wouldn't seen my worst enemy there.

I was so impressed with this company and all their employees from first visit to last. Dane supervised our job and was on site every day. The entire crew was super hard working all day. They arrived on time as scheduled and kept us informed every step. Very professional and knowledgeable. Anwered all our questions [and we had a bunch]. They were transparent and completely honest about the financial side of the job. The office staff was just as pleasant and helpful and knowledgeable.
The finished product is beautiful and definitely the outstanding roof in our neighborhood. Their cleanup is amazing, out of the thousands of nails, we have only found 2.
I have no hesitation recommending them and would call them again if I ever need any roofing help.

UPDATE: Cypress came out shortly after I posted this review. Nearest I can tell, they did a good job reattaching the gutter which loosened and the gutter guards which came off. It sounds like there wasn't enough gutter guard material overlapping when they first installed. I'll update again if there are future problems.

Cypress had their crew come out and fix a small portion of my hand-nailed roof after hurricane Ida. They did a great job with that. But they left the edge of the roof exposed for months while they attempted to find gutter guards for my roof. The guard style isn't being made anymore, but eventually Cypress got some machined and installed about 5 months later.

The problem is, nothing from the gutter crew was properly attached. For months screws of less than a cm in length would rain off my roof. Then the corner leaf catch came off. I ended up attaching some chicken wire there myself. Then a piece of the gutter partially detached from the roof and sags terribly when it rains, causing water to pool and overflow in that area (even when the gutters are clear of debris). The gutter guards also shift around and have just blown right off the roof.

I've let Cypress Roofing know every time there was a new development in the gutters / guards detaching. Every time they placate me saying they'll send someone out, and every time they just don't show. I don't know if they just have bad communication with their crews or they just have bad customer service, either way, I've been brushed aside even after sending photos 3-4 times.

Women owned and it shows. They're catty, know nothing about the business and customer service is shitty. They will lie, overcharge, and renege on promises to make their mistakes right. I now have a poorly done drywall that's buckling and may fall through at any time because it wasn't done properly. Save yourself the headache DON'T use them. FIND A REPUTABLE company who cares about quality and treating their customers with respect. It's all about the money for these ladies.

This company is really unbelievable. We were impressed from the moment they came out to inspect the roof until they finished our roof.
They are polite, dependable, professional, extremely efficient and HONEST!!! We would absolutely recommend them to anyone needing a new roof.

I wish I could multiply my star rating for Cypress Roofing by 1000. From the first encounter with Dan to my last email from Allison, I have been so impressed with the depth of integrity, which is the center of this company.
Dan inspected my roof because of missing shingles caused by a wind burst in April 2022. He told me that, from his inspection and professional experience, my entire roof needed to be replaced but this was a decision for me and my husband to make, and what our homeowners would cover.
We filed an insurance claim, and after several months of waiting, an inspector came and inspected (?) the roof. His report back to the insurance claims department was, ""our roof didn't need to be replaced, only repaired."" We disputed this and they agreed to send an independent inspector to check the roof. This inspector agreed with Dan that the roof should be replaced.
Cypress Roofing had to produce a video of a shingle being replaced to prove that it would cause more damage to the adjoining shingles by repairing them than by replacing the entire roof.
Our insurance company (was not a Good Neighbor) agreed to replace the entire rear slope of the roof...our damage was on the front of our roof. Dan called the claims department and mentioned that we were going to engage the service of the arbitrator to get this settled. Strange to me how we suddenly had a new claims adjustor who was willing to work with us and Cypress Roofing to get this resolved. After a second video was produced and sent to claims our entire roof replacement was approved. As soon as Cypress Roofing was given the good news, they went straight to work on our roof. The supplies were delivered on Friday, bright and early Monday morning the workers were on the job, removing the old shingles and immediately replacing these with the new shingles. They had a Cypress Roofing Supervisor on site for the entire job to make sure everything was done properly, and quickly. It was only supposed to take one day for the job to be completed but, due to the configuration of the roof, it took part of the second day. The clean-up was impressive and if it were not for the beautiful new roof, no one would have known any workers had even been on our property. Now, I wish I could say that getting the roof claim paid had been a pleasant experience. It was not, but Cypress Roofing helped me, and thanks to mine, and Dan's, constant calls to (The Good Neighbor) this claim has been paid 100%. If it had not been for Cypress Roofing going the extra steps to get this claim approved and paid, I wonder what shape my roof would be in by now. Gee, it only took us 10 months. No fault on the part of Cypress Roofing. They went above and beyond to get it done. I wish I could impress upon anyone in need of roof repair/replacement to give Cypress Roofing a call at (225) 450-5507. You will not be disappointed!

Reached out to cypress roofing after hurricane ida for a quote on a roof replacement. Rather than being an honest respectable company and coming on-site first , they wanted the insurance information/data before they even come on-site. Companies like this are taking advantage of people in need by using exactimate program charging astronomical pricing to your insurance companies which will end up hitting the home owner in the pocket after your premium gets raised.
