I actually ""never"" thought I'd have the pleasure of working with a quality, fair, professional and highly experienced general contractor! But this company, Custom Home Improvements, Inc., is exactly that! Charlotte/Shan and their team just recently completed a somewhat major repair/remodeling project for me...and I am ""too"" happy! The project included, new flooring, painting, sheetrock repairs, internal door restoration, plus hardware replacement. Shan and Charlotte provided me with an upfront price quote...once I accepted, they completed the project (in record time), and absolutely nothing changed from the original quote! As I said, ""I never thought I'd have the pleasure...."". I'll continue to use these folks and will definitely recommend them!

I had a terrible experience with this company. They constructed an outside deck for us and used sand as a base. What happens to sand when it rains? Yes, it washes away and will not drain. After rain water flooded my home from no drainage, I had to have someone come out to pull up the wood and shovel 9 yards of sand out from under the deck. At that time we saw what was going on under the wood planks. The deck was not constructed correctly and had to be completely re built.
Please do your homework. I wish I had. It cost me a fortune and in the end had to build not just one new deck but two.
