Mitch was the only roofer who responded to my roof leak issue in Sonora in late December '22 during the heavy rain period. I reached out to most of the other roofers on Yelp since I was afraid the heavy rains would cause severe damage to the house. Mitch diagnosed and repaired the leak quickly (probably while it was raining) and minimized the cost, which I really appreciate.

They finished re-roofing our home last week. I first encountered them while they were working on a house nearby. The workman with whom i first spoke was well informed and helpful. The foreman promptly came to our place for an estimate. The project ended up costing exactly the estimated price. The crew completed the work in three days. They removed all debris before leaving. These people know how to treat a customer.

All you under 60 Yelpers might want to lighten up a bit as really don't get the angst reviews against Culpepper. Through word of mouth received a solid recommendation to call them. Immediately was able to speak with the owner - and get this they've been in business here in Sonora for 45 years. Have to believe that if you can stay in any business for 45 years that you're good as gold. Anyway, they're plenty busy and still scheduled to look at my roof (for repair -not replacement). We set a 'take a look at it' appointment and Mr. Culpepper was here exactly on time. This story stops here for now - although pretty sure we'll be working together.

THESE GUYS ARE FLAKES!

We had a new roof put on last year, so far so good. The roof looks great, the service was great and they were very professional back then....

fast forward to this year--
--roof is still great BUT the service stinks!

We had them come out 3 months ago for an estimate. When he came out for estimate he said he promised to do the work in May after it stopped raining...

After multiple calls to him from me and a couple from my realtor, he finally got back with me only to tell me he is now ""too busy"" to do this job..... uh, not good!

Now we have to find someone else but everyone is so busy...

Thank you for Culpepper for stringing us along for 3 months and for your lack of service and professionalism! You are a FLAKE!

Have nothing but great things to say about Hubert and his crew . Out of three bids i got they were the fairest. Very professional , on time, and did a great job! No more leaks!

Replaced part of an aging but not-leaking roof with an over-pricey new roof, which is now on its 3rd leak in a bit over a year. We waited two days for them to show up last year, but that never happened. No response from vendor.
