This is the same owner as A-1 Construction Remodeling & Roofing trying to fleece people under a different company name.
Negative 35...Don't use..ever!
Absolutely terrible. Did not erect our Mueller carport per our request, did not build it level or assemble to specs, so it leaked; tried to fix it-but he made it worse and it now has even more leaks to the point that we may as well not have a carport; very weaselly about pricing-went up, up and up, would not honor his own contract (1-year warranty).
We tried to work with him through the Better Business Bureau. He pretended to work with us, but would either not show up to appointments he made with us, or call just before he was supposed to show up and cancel...later he came back and told the BBB that we were out of town, had changed our phone number and that he could not get in touch with us.
He then finally showed up and offered us $1,000, told us we could not win legally as we could not prove beyond a reasonable doubt...my husband (who worked as a clerk for criminal cases for 30 years at the DC Superior Court) stopped him right there and reminded him that was for criminal cases not civil cases. Then Mr. Adams said if we sue him, his corporation is no longer in existence and has no assets, there was nothing to get. That was not true as he is a sole proprietorship and liable even with his personal assets...
We asked him for $2,000 and he laughed at us and said no...so we sued, were awarded a $20,000+judgement with interest against him on May 27th, as well as any costs and interest associated with collection efforts. He of course attempted to evade the process servers at every turn, but served he was. He never responded to the summons, did not appear, nor submit anything in or on his behalf.
