If I could give them a negative review I would. For the last two years this company seems to care less and less. I use to see them in my community all the time but since our HOA noticed their poor workmanship they have backed from using them. I called in while experiencing a leak. They transferred me to Jim Carmeci that says he runs the department. What a joke he is. Has no knowledge In tile roofing, was rude when I asked too many questions. Very unsettling. I would use this company even if they paid me.

My husband and I had a home built in 2019 by PGI builders, which hired Crown Roofing in Fort Myers to install the roof components. From the very start they were incompetent. To start, they miscalculated the number of tiles needed to install on our roof and came up short by 1/3. The second time they ordered tiles, their forklift person dropped the pallet and the majority were broken. Finally after almost 7 months they received the third and final shipment of tiles and our roof was completed on 1/23/19. Because of their incompetency CO was held up by 3 weeks. We have now lived in out new home for 2.8 years. In that time period we have had 3 leaks in our roof and it has caused considerable damage to the inside of our home not to mention the inconvenience. Our first leak appeared on 7/15/19, which Crown Roofing repaired. The second leak was on 6/18/20, again Crown Roofing repaired. These first two leaks were covered by their warranty, which extended for 2 years. The third leak was on 7/19/21, which was not covered under warranty as it had expired 6 months prior. Crown Roofing wanted to charge us $3100 to repair. How insulting! Crown Roofing expects the homeowner to pay for their slipshod workmanship! Moreover, the Polyglass, Tu-max underlayment can not be exposed longer than 6 months, which it was, and the overexposure has compromised the permeability therefore it has allowed and will continue to allow water to go through. When you have a new home built with a new roof one would think that roof leaks would be nonexistent in the first three years. In addition, to the roof leaks on 2/7/19 there was a noticeable problem with our ridge area of the roof by our garage, which Crown repaired under warranty. Upon repairing this problem they also found a bag of tools left by one of their workers from 1/23/19. In my opinion, Crown Roofing is the most slipshod, inept, incompetent, duplicitous roof contractor in the business. DO NOT hire them for anything!!!

I contracted with them to repair a leak in our roof, which they completed in a timely manner, with no problems. The shingles match the original roof and look great. They also resealed a pan roof over part of our lanai. They came in at the contract price with no hidden costs. I would definite recommend them and use them again if needed.

My father and I had our roofs installed by them on both of our homes post hurricane Irma. Can't say this enough...I DO NOT RECOMMEND.

From an unresponsive field team requiring multiple emails multiple phone calls to get a hold of anyone, to failed promises such as not arriving on the day previously scheduled by them! Two delivering the wrong roof tile, damaging the roof causing a leak this has been a horrible experience and definitely will not recommend this company to anybody here.

Overall just a bad contractor to deal with, the sales guy sure was great and talked up a lot of things. But once you sign with them it becomes a gauntlet where you feel like they are the customer and you have to satisfy them which is completely backwards.

I have to disagree with previous reviews about customer service. After coming to my house to fix the same leak twice the roof tiles remain on the roof with the secondary material fully exposed. The promised date to return the tiles came and went without explanation. I tried to call them several times but can't get through the switchboard. They say they will send an e mail to the service department. No returned calls from anyone on when the tiles will be replaced. Meanwhile, the hurricanes season approaches and I will be exposed to wind damage on top of the leak. Not to mention, the damage to sheet rock inside my garage. Can not recommend. This is the only Yelp review I've ever written and I'm only doing it to hopefully stop someone from making the same mistake I did and hiring Crown Roofing. I could write a book of all the problems I had but I'll summarize by saying that I've done numerous remodeling and renovation projects locally and in the northeast including building a large custom home and Crown is the single worst company in any trade I've ever had the misfortune of working with.

They're horrible on every level- zero communication, lack of supervision, lies at every turn about how and when things were being done, lack of follow-up, not listening to my concerns and questions, snarky employees and lack of basic safety measures. From start to finish my job took almost a year and there were no weather delays- just incompetence delays. From day one it was clear that if I wasn't planning on being home every minute of this job and watching them like a hawk it would be a disaster. So I was inconvenienced for months supervising the job and holding them accountable for their work.

I have no idea if this has become standard behavior in the roofing business but you could pick any roof company at random and probably have a better experience. Please avoid this company.

Without a doubt, the WORST experience with a contractor I have ever had!
From the very start it was evident that this company lacked any communication skills. It took Crown Roofing over 4 months to ""complete"". I say ""complete"" because I am left to deal with the broken A/C drain pipe and remaining handprints on my home. In all fairness, they did replace the 7 portions of screen they ripped covering the pool. I had voiced concerns regarding the workmanship that I was seeing, I got the run around on answers. I was told, by the ""super"", that it was actually good to have all these large gaps in the drip edge at the corners, wow! And that he would have someone out the next day to roll out all the lumps that were painfully obvious, nobody came, ever! So again no response to my issues, all documented through email, no response from anyone in charge. The only time there was immediate response though this entire process is when there was a check to pick up. Overall if I had to do it again I would certainly not chose Crown Roofing. Please beware.

I recently had Crown Roofing come to complete some work on my home after my association contracted with them. I concur with the others who are providing a poor rating. The work order was submitted in December of 2017 after Hurricane Irma and they didn't complete the work until December of 2018. In the meantime the water stain on my ceiling became worse and when I asked them to repair it, I was not only denied this request but when i asked for the owners information to discuss further, I was hung up on. DO NOT HIRE THIS SERVICE.
