Crown Roofing & Waterproofing
Company Overview
At Crown Roofing & Waterproofing, we collaborate with developers, general contractors, property managers, business owners, and real estate investors to safeguard their assets with our all-encompassing commercial roofing and waterproofing services across Florida.
In 2018, we opened this location to cater to the rising needs for commercial roofing in Orlando. Today, we work with reputable organizations such as Walt Disney World Resorts, owing to our solid standing and strict safety protocols, which include OSHA 30 training and certification for all employees on the roof, as well as maintaining an EMR rating under one (1).
We provide a range of roofing solutions, including maintenance, repairs, new builds, roof replacements, and roof coating systems, along with comprehensive building envelope waterproofing for all commercial applications. We offer a variety of roofing systems throughout Florida, including single-ply, Modified Bitumen, metal, tile, shingles, and solar roofing. Our commercial waterproofing services feature sheet-applied waterproofing membranes, hot-applied waterproofing membranes, deck coating systems, below-grade waterproofing systems, air and vapor barrier systems, caulking and sealants, water repellents, and cementitious waterproofing.

Recommended Customer Reviews

We recently hired this company's Sarasota branch to repair bubbles on a flat roof and the results looked like a spotted leopard and the color didn't come close to matching nor was the resulting surface anything like the surrounding area. When we asked for an in person meeting to look at and discuss the results they refused to meet with us. We then got the following communication from them and I quote ""the work has been completed. Payment was due on completion and there is no warranty. Provide payment or we will be proceeding with liens.""

Stay away. They are a very disreputable company. They started our roof and left it half finished. They have not been back in months. They have repeatedly bold faced lied about when they were going to be at our job site. Now they will not return emails, text or phone calls.

The beginning of the sales to the process of the roof completion was smooth and impressive, however the follow-up on some punchlist items including loose drip edges and a continued leak in the metal standing seam porch was sub-par. It took months for them to come back out and actually fix it, and then it took a few trips to get it fixed completely. The sales operations manager also argued the damage which their contracted dumpster did to our eaves. We even gave him large color photo prints which showed it clearly. Even the installation supervisor agreed that was the dumpster damage. The install super finally pulled the dents out fair enough, and touched them up, just as they sent someone out to replace them.
On top of that, their accounting department seems to be unorganized as they don't bill the invoices in a timely manner, and then accounts receivable doesn't communicate to their collections department when they get payments. Now I am getting invoices even though it was all paid. Their new accounts person, one had since left her position, didn't even reply to the email I sent stating the check numbers with details and dates they were given to the installation supervisor. I had to call back a week later to confirm she received the checks. Apparently they have bad communication between departments as well.
Overall, my experience with the roofers and their work was good, but the accounting and operation manager left such a bad taste that I would not really recommend them without warning to keep records and copies as well as continue following up.
