Ray from Crown Ridge roofing came out to do a estimate on a new roof for my ranch house. He told my present roof is in ""pretty good shape"". This is my kind of estimate!

If you want carless and rushed work, this is the company to call. I've never experienced such poor communication. After the roof was ""finished"" we noticed there were loose shingles everywhere. When my boyfriend went to investigate, he saw that the workers left old nails from the previous roof UNDERNEATH the new shingles so they couldn't be secured tightly. They even drove a nail directly through the porch roof so it's sticking out right where you enter the house.

They left nails and trash everywhere (including fast food wrappers). When my boyfriend called the owner to have him come look at it, he kept stalling (vacation, etc.) and eventually said he came to look at the house and didn't see anything wrong from his car. Really? So my boyfriend climbed up to the roof to take pictures of the poor work, and sent them to the owner. It has been about three weeks now and still no response. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy. Communication is key, and if you mess up, own up to it! This is not the way to create trust with your clients.

We have called Crown Ridge Roofers on two separate occasions, the first time based on a neighbors recommendations, and both times they responded quickly and provided competitive and very professional services.
They fixed the leak and left our house neat, clean and dry.
They are nice guys and we will use them again.

Called these folks, he called back right away. quite nice on the phone. NEVER EVER got back to be with a bid. I called him back 3 times he always said I will get a bid to you.

I call this flakiness. Hey if your busy just say so and I will either wait or move on. But this business is not ready to get my money I guess.

Your mileage may vary IF you can get them to do the job. me? I never got past the estimate phase. They have not responded with a bid and just keep telling me they will get it out. I think one month and counting is a wee bit long to wait.

First, many of our neighbors have used Crown Ridge so we had fairly high expectations to begin with. However, Ray and Julian both exceeded those expectations. What a fantastic experience from beginning to end. Our initial meeting with Ray was because we were experiencing a roof leak. While he said they could try to fix it Ray suggested I contact the original roofer...very ethical...we were impressed. Long story sort, the leak persisted so we decided to replace the roof. Ray gave us a very honest assessment of the roof condition and proposed cost-effective options/alternatives. The quote provided was very fair and reasonable.
Julian...what can I say? Julian is a master of his craft, works exceptional hard AND is one of the kindest people you will ever meet. Julian managed his crew perfectly and was hands-on and involved every step of the way to ensure an excellent quality result. We could not be happier with our new roof and highly recommend Crown Ridge Roofing.

This is a great no b.s. outfit. Timely response from Ray who gave me a bid 25% lower than Ken Cooper Roofing. Julian and his crew rock and rolled through the project like real pros. I ended up doing two of my properties and i was very pleased with both jobs.
Call these guys if you want it done right!

Ray gave a very clear description of the process for a new roof and his price was very fair. Julian supervised the job which occurred as scheduled. Extra work to replace and repair fascia boards was done efficiently, including painting which had not be included in the contract. I'm very satisfied with the finished product and I highly recommend Crown Ridge Roofing.

Julian did re roofing for two separate rental properties for me in Berkeley. One of them was two story 1893 two story Victorian. I am going to re roof my other property in Benicia, and sure thing I will hire them again.
The quality and price was untouchable by others. The job was done on time without any inconveniences to my tenants and neighboring properties.
