Crosby Roofing replaced my roof this year (September 18). The roofing job appears to be adequate, but customer service is not their strong suit. The morning they arrived to begin the roofing job, my car was still in the garage. The men just stared at me when I asked them to move the truck that was blocking me from leaving for work, then finally moved the truck. When I came back home at around 5pm, the front yard was filled with debris. Most of that was cleaned up at the end of the day, however, nails, staples and bits of shingles could be found all around the house, a solar light was smashed in the middle (it was apparently stepped on) and a rose bush had two broken stems. More importantly, my air conditioning unit had stopped cooling my house so I contacted a company to check on it. I had assumed the Crosby people had cut something electrical, but they had actually cut the refrigerant line, meaning no refrigerant was left in the unit. When I contacted Crosby to ask them to fix it, Duncan said that Crosby wasn't liable and wouldn't pay to repair the unit which would cost ""thousands,"" but that he knew someone who could ""do it cheap."" He was aggressive and antagonistic and didn't even attempt an apology. I ended up replacing the unit which was costly. For this reason, I chose to pay what I owed Crosby in increments, expecting an apology at some point, but I suppose that is not part of their corporate culture.

I called this company because I was driving and saw their ad on the back of a truck. I just needed a piece of siding replaced because the wind blew it off and it broke.
Preston came on the day scheduled and took a look. He took a picture of the broke piece and offered to throw it away. I told him that after the siding is repaired, I'd be interested in having some new siding installed on the front of my home. I made it clear that the broken piece took priority right now but definitely in the future I would like to get new siding installed on the front. He said no problem and that he would get back to me tomorrow with a quote.
Days went by and he finally said he would be sitting down with someone to go over my project and give me some estimates. My project? I just want the siding repaired right now. He finally quoted me $350 to repair it and then became completely unresponsive. I emailed several times and called the company.
The lady I spoke to said someone had just given birth and that's why I haven't heard anything from him. Regardless of what's going on, a company should be professional, have common courtesy and communicate with the customer. I literally sat for 2 weeks and heard nothing. Not even an apology for the wait.
If you don't want my business, just say that. But don't waste my time. I tried my best to support a local business instead of going through Home Depot but clearly this was a terrible idea. Time has been wasted and the repair still isn't done after nearly 3 weeks now.
I'm adamant about leaving reviews for local business(good ones and bad ones when necessary). I was hoping that this would be a good one but nope

The company took advantage of my 86 year old grandmother's roofing job. The unit has a sun room connected to the home which had damage due to a shallow pitch from the main home. We contacted this company and spoke with their agent who assessed the cost to replace the roof along with minor facial board repairs. We asked if he could capture in the estimate what would be the worse case cost in the event all the plywood was damaged. I was sent one document with everything captured, but in an area labeled ""optional"" the cost for a full plywood replacement was listed. We were told the project manager would be contacting us to confirm everything once we sent back the contract. Never heard from this person even after several calls to the office. They were such a highly recommended company I had little concerns. The day of installation I noticed the workers were taking off a lot of good wood; none of them spoke English and was unable to explain to me what was happening. I contacted the company and they eventually sent someone on site to explain to me what was going on. The rep who arrived said he was informed to replace everything regardless of the condition of the existing wood. After speaking with a few people, the owner contacted me and said we signed a contract although it stated optional it was our fault. He did slightly adjust the bill, but I believe their practices were unethically increased and inconsistent with good business practices. I would not recommend this company to anyone who is not an attorney. Things are generically indicated on their documents, but all interpretations will benefit the company. They did not follow up as we were led to believe. We ended up paying nearly $3,000 extra for no reason.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. We had a new roof put on our house a little over 3 years ago, and have had leaks all over our house since then. They have horrible customer service. Anytime I called up to the office, my call was hardly ever returned. The manager at the office admitted that the contractor that did our roof messed up several other houses in the area and they fired him, yet they refused to do anything to fix our situation. We had to hire another company to clean up the mess that Crosby has caused.

They were very thorough with their consultation. There was miscommunication about when my job would be completed, but Crosby Roofing fixed it in the end. Overall they have great customer service and a great product.

Crosby Roofing recently did a small repair for us. This is a sought after company and it took us a bit to get on the schedule. After the work was completed we had some questions about the completed work. Here is where Crosby really shined. In spite of the fact that our repair was small I felt we were treated with the same care and treatment that a full roof replacement customer might get. Crosby sent not one, but two people to review the work including Duncan, a senior project manager. It turns out our concerns were merely cosmetic and the work was performed correctly. While Duncan was inspecting the work he noted another unrelated issue on our roof and elected to repair it himself at no cost even though it was not part of the original scope of work. He then gave us his personal contact information with instructions to call him directly if we had any problems with the roof. We couldn't have been more pleased. Thank you Crosby Roofing and thank you Duncan.

Provided a fast and professional install of a high quality gutter. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for the same.

Crosby's Roofing was the last roofer on my list to call. Connor came out to speak with me and evaluate my roof. I asked all the same questions as the previous roofers who visited for an estimate. Connor was very knowledgeable and the price was impressive. Connor stated that his crew is solid and has been around for over ten years. This was one of the most critical key points of our decision to use Crosby. The price was amazing, but was not the only thing that helped us to make the choice. The price was right because the work was not stretched out over 2-3 days which the previous roofers estimated and cost more with competitors. The crew came out early and began working right away. These guys did not play. I was totally impressed with how hard they worked. The roof looks amazing and we received everything we asked for from the products to the service. I was super impressed and had my mind made up previously on another roofer that would have cost $2K more. Crosby is coming out to install gutter covers for us as well and cannot wait for our roof project to be complete. Thank you Crosby Roofing for a wonderful experience.

If you have roofing needs then you should look no further than Crosby Roofing. They recently replaced my roof that had extensive wind damage. They were timely, knowledgeable and professional. They kept in constant contact and answered all of my questions, ensuring my continued satisfaction. I will never hesitate to choose them again. They are the best!

Crosby's came out and installed our gutters and downspouts. They were extremely professional, and talked us through every aspect of installation. They worked through a little bit of rain, and left no mess at all. Our gutters look fantastic! Highly recommend!
