Roofing and painting
The roof had two leaks that they created and even sent someone out after numerous calls to repair. Due to the leaks we had paint damage on the ceilings. Which the repairs guys saw and admitted were of their making.
After numerous calls and emails over the last 12
Plus months we have been ignored.
This is after we
Paid their price for a 30 year architectural roof with all of their add ons.
Run not walk from using these cowardly thieves.

Oct 31, 2022 Mr. Kevin Varnadore Crescent Construction 2737 River Drive Columbia, SC 29201 You came out to my house June 10, 2022 and we signed contracts for roof replacement for $19353.42 and aluminum repair $958.77. You subsequently replaced my roof on Aug 3, 2022 During the roof replacement your roofers damaged my front gutter. This was discussed your Father, at the time of roofing payment. We agreed that we would work out the damage to the front gutter at the time of future aluminum repair. The damage was caused by the roofers sliding old shingles and tar paper over the side of the roof and apparently one of the old roofing nails hung up on the gutter and bent it, right at the front door. I witnessed this incident as it happened. I have now sent numerous emails to [email protected], left a message on your on line contact website form, attempted to contact you personally at 803-209-1854, the number utilized during the roof replacement and on Oct 21, 2022 I personally spoke to Michelle at 803-781-1900, your office number, who took all this down and said she would get back with me. I can only assume you have no intention of honoring your aluminum repair estimate or repairing the gutter damaged by your employees during the roof replacement. A return on $500 of the roofing payment will satisfy me on the gutter damage and I will pursue other contractors for the remainder of the work. Additionally, I was promised a lifetime roof warranty document thru you and Owens Corning and you would provide the necessary paperwork to USAA for me to receive my recoverable depreciation. Neither of which has taken place. I have reached the limit of my patience. If we have not been in contact and worked out a satisfactory resolution by 10 Nov I intend to file a formal BBB complaint and a very negative rating on Zillo. It is your lack of action that has driven me to this point. You have had Aug, Sept and Oct to get around to it!

Desired Settlement: Refund $500 reimbursement for my damaged front gutter-I will contract with someone else to repair; Documentation of the lifetime Owens Corning warranty on the roof; Filing of necessary paperwork with USAA insurance so I can receive my recoverable depreciation

They did my roof, and I was impressed. Re-roofing job. Price was good, and they agreed to fix cornice that was severely damaged, and other roofing companies said ""they couldn't do that"". They even had paint mixed to exactly match the existing cornice color. I was impressed. And it was not an easy fix either. They also put on great ridge vent system. they also used peel-and-seal type extra protection all over a low pitched area that had been leaking. And they came back 2 times and re-did flashing that didn't pass their own inspection. That took 4 men quite a while to fix. Roofing lines were straight, trash hauled away beautifully. Nice project manager who was easy to work with. I met the owner as well.

I have been going back and forth with them since August trying to get the workmanship warranty for a roof that was promptly paid for with 24 hours of completion. They did not start the soffit or facia repair within the 2 week period written in the contract and 5 months later I am still waiting for it to be completed properly. The owner will not call me back and the receptionist is condescending and not helpful. The sales person is trying to get things done but still can not get the job done. Guess the next step is the BBB.

Crescent construction gave a quote the day I called. They booked us two days after calling for an appointment. Henry was very helpful in decision making. They took off our old roof, installed the new one, and cleaned up in 12 hours. We have a 2000 sq foot ranch house.

My roof has leaked since the day Crescent Construction replaced it. After a bad hail storm in 2015, my insurance paid to get my roof replaced, I choose Crescent Construction (Worst decision every) as they had many signs in the local area. The workers where horrible and lift a miss and my roof exposed during a storm first leak. I called Crescent someone came out to put a tarp over my roof, to late my dry wall ceiling started to fall in they brought a dry and lift paint for me to repaint it. Since then my roof has leaked now I have black mold growing out of a hole in my ceiling and have.
They (Crescent) sent out Bobby to inspect he found every reason but the roof repair that caused the leak. Keep in mind my roof never leaked prior to them replacing it and the reason to get it replaced was damaged shingles.

I would not hire Crescent Construction to change a light bulb in my house. Stay away if you don't want problems. I will update when the issue is fixed or I get a lawyer.

Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable in roof repair. Hopefully I won't need another roof for a long time but when I do, I will definitely call these guys again!
