A lifelong friend who is a contractor recommended Creative Roofing. To say we are pleased with the finished roof is an understatement. From the estimate, through the job and until completed, all went perfectly! The crew was nice. The job was cleaned up each day and no debris was ever left. Thank you Creative Roofing.

Creative Roofing did an exceptional job reroofing our 1895 house, which has all sorts of oddities, nothing is square and there are multiple roof levels.
The team are highly efficient, cheerful, respectful and courteous and from the first estimate to job completion they were both highly efficient and with great attention to detail and fixes.
I highly recommend them!

Had this company replace the roof on a house we sold. Got their invoice September 21st via email. I was traveling that week, and I received no less than 1 additional email and 5 phone calls over 4 days, to ""confirm I got the invoice."" Really? Most businesses give 30 days to pay an invoice before they harass you (not that I allow things to get to that point, I'm just commenting on standard practice). I called and told them to stop harassing me on an invoice I just received. The NEXT day, I received a certified letter from creative roofing and their supplier, Pacific Supply, notifying me that they had filed a California Preliminary notice that could lead to a lien on the home. So, if you don't mind doing business with a company that harasses you and makes you feel like a criminal for not dropping everything you are doing and paying their invoice the MINUTE it is received, then I guess you could go with this company, but as for me, I will stick to businesses that treat their clients with respect.

I normally don't write in the superlative, however, Creative Roofing was superb. In an era where mediocrity rules as king, this team were par excellence. Moses and his crew showed up on time, they were respectful, hard working and went the extra mile when I asked Moses to cut 2 pieces of wood to fill in the hole on the side of the stucco. Moses didn't hesitate to do so. Adrian and Hilario were pleasant to deal with, listened to my concerns and try to resolve when possible. My insurance company also requested two documents in regards to the roof. I emailed Kelly with this request and much to my amazement Kelly emailed the documents within an hour of my request. The whole experience was pretty much hassle free.

By the way, this is the second time I am using this company. This first time was 2 years ago for the flat portion of my roof whereby Creative installed TPO product

Here is my rationale for a five star rating:
1. The estimator was experienced and was the only roofer that suggested the right solution to a unique issue we have with our roof. Others glossed over our concerns.
2. The workers and managers we worked with were all courteous, professional and friendly.
3. They started work when they said they would and cleaned everything up each day, including a group nail check around the house and garage perimeter.
4. Creative Roofing also re-did the screws on our barn roof - we had a leaky barn. After the work was completed, we noted new leaks this last rainy winter. Creative Roofing came out during a hard rain to see what was going on and agreed to correct the problem. After the rainy season ended, they came back and removed the screws they had put in, and put in new, larger ones.
Highly recommended!!

I heard great things about this company. What I heard must have been about a different company. I reached out to them and they arrived about 8 days later. The crew arrived late by 30 minutes on a Tuesday morning (when I should be at work). They said they will have to estimate the situation, 3 weeks went by and there no word from them. I called them again and they acted like they have never spoke to me before or visited my property. A week after that phone call they decide to call me on a Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. saying they can come out the following morning at 8:30 to do an estimate, another estimate.

I have a problem with this...I WORK. They are calling me during work hours which is fine, but for them to tell me that they need to know by 4:00 p.m. that someone will be at the house. I am busier than all get out and I need to speak with my SO in order to figure how we are going to do this in 30 minutes. Needless to say that didn't happen. We figured it out around 5 and I called and left a message saying we are a green light on the estimate. Turns out they needed to talk to us and that a message wasn't sufficient enough and that they can come by at 3:30 p.m. instead.

What I am getting at about this, is that this company doesn't have any clue about time. I know I need to sacrifice to get the repairs done and give them the time they need, but they need to give me more time than 30 minutes to call them back. Its been 30 + days since the first phone call and the repairs haven't even taken place yet. So far I have given more of my time than they have given theirs, that's just not okay.

At the time of writing this, today is the day they are suppose to show up at 3:30. We will wait and see if that even happens.

We recently had our roof replaced by Creative Roofing and could not be more pleased. All aspects of the job were exceptional. Bob provided a detailed estimate and detailed scope of work. When we had questions, he answered them clearly and thoroughly. Adrian in the main office was always polite and responsive to email and voice correspondence. Hilario the Operations Manager communicated through numerous rain delays (what a wet winter!) and worked to schedule our job for a rare window of dry weather. Day to day, the job site foreman, Aurelio, and his crew worked with focus and great attention to detail. Aurelio ensured that every edge and vent was water tight and all roofing materials were secure. Each day, the crew cleaned the work site and treated our home with care. We had a solar PV system installed at the same time as the new roof, and Creative Roofing worked with the solar installer to ensure all work was coordinated. We would highly recommended Creative Roofing.

I had Creative Roofing give me an estimate for some broken tiles on my tile roof. They came out while I was at work. When I got home I looked on the roof and saw the tiles that were to be replaced laid out in a long row. I guess this is how they point out how many tiles need to be replaced.

I have never had roofers take out the tiles and lay them in a long row. Fall was approaching and now I had all of the sections of roof that had cracked or broken tiles completely bare and I had no choice but to have them do the replacement, and I think that is the strategy.

When I got the estimate it was about $1200.00 to replace maybe 10-12 broken tiles. I thought that was way too high and they got it down to about $1,000.00. I asked for a cost breakdown and the supplies we $190.00 and labor (4 guys at 70/hr X 4 hours). I thought the labor cost was very excessive, however it was fall now and with all the talk of El Nino approaching I felt I had no other option.

If you use them to replace roof tiles, ask them to take pictures of the damage tiles, not line them up in a row on your roof, because if you decide not to go with them I doubt that it would be a high priority for them to climb back on the roof and place them in their original locations!

Researched quite extensively before we hired Creative Roofing to do our roof repair, dry rot, chimney flashing and 2 downspouts. It's a busy time of year and took a couple of weeks before we could get an estimate but, once we signed, our job was completed reasonably quickly. From the way they handled the whole job, they gave the impression of an organized and well run company: 1) The office was in regular touch with us re the schedule and notified us when they had to reschedule; 2) Their Operations Manager, Hilario, came out beforehand to review the job and measure the downspouts; 3) The crew that came out (Javier, Bruce and Nelson) were very professional, polite and conscientious. 4) We were amazed at how well they cleaned up, I would say, this was a reflection of their work and the company.

I will note that we called a couple of other companies, some didn't even return our phone calls.

Had a roof installed in 2006, the roof itself is fine. The problem is they overlapped the 3-1/2"" wide gutters with shingles, with almost 2 inches overlap in spots. Every year I cuss them when trying to clean the gutters, as they are WAY too narrow for any kind of gutter scoop. My 25 year old old roof was no problem. I called them, and Diamond Certified, who recommended them. DC sent me to them, and blew it off! Creative Roofing came out, and said something about ""industry standards"" overlap. Other roofers consulted said that was not right. Anyway, Creative Roofing blew me off also. Apparently ""Satisfaction Guaranteed"" by Diamond Certified means, THEY are satisfied. Just cleaned the gutters again, I hope their ears are burning!!! But probably not, another example in the decline in quality in service and retail. Not that clean, either, I am still picking you roofing nails in the yard after 7+ years

UPDATE: 05-01-14 Company came out, inspected the shingle overhang, explained the necessity of the overhang relating to the Manufacturers installation requirements, which have changed over the years. If I had replaced the gutters at the same time, with newer style, wider gutters, that take the new overhang requirements into consideration, this would not be an issue. I have gotten 8 years more service out of the original gutters, and counting. I am satisfied with the explanation give, and happy to have also received tips on installation of new gutters, when needed. As stated before, there are no other issues with the roof after 8 years, and I now recommend Creative Roofing.
