my experience with Crandall Roofing was awful. I would not recommend them to anyone. Customer service was poor. Canceled less than 24 hours before they were supposed to come out. Excuse was they had a scheduling problem. Finally came out after two weeks. Did a roof repair without informing me and doing a change order. Job took longer than expected. Damaged my gutter and took their time replacing it. Did not put things back when they were done. Left a lot of debris. My ordeal start in March 2023 and finally got a new roof in early December. It's a long story.
Hope my new roof holds up.

Crandall and their crew are amazing. Professional, fast , hardworking from the very beginning. Daniel came out and gave an estimate, answered all of my questions that day and in several follow up phone calls. We knew there might be additional work that needed to be done once the old roof was removed. Turns out Lots of work-dry rot, skylights replaced. They kept me informed the whole time. Explained the problems, offered solutions. Took care of the permitting process. They were all great. They made a super stressful situation pretty stress free.
I hope to never need a roofer again, but if we do I will call Crandall again for sure.

we received several quotes to have our single family homes roof replaced. By far the most through quote came from Daniel at Crandall Roofing. Not only did we get a fair price, we received several photos of areas requiring additional repairs. Not one other company pointed out these issues witch would have been a problem if not addressed.

I had this company redo my roof 6 years ago. I had a tile roof and no plywood underneath. During the process of looking for quotes, they were hands down the least expensive and most responsive. I gave them my budget and they kept too it. Even helped out with a few extra repairs. Once I agreed to use them, they were out within a week. They finished my roof within 5 days. I highly recommend them and tell all my friends and family to reach out to them for quotes.

What could have been better is the rain gutter installed with the roof. This month is the most rain since the roof was installed, and revealed the rain gutter slopes to the back of the house, even though the property slopes to the front. The front downspout is dry, and all the rainwater runs to the downspout at the rear of the house, then along the foundation to the front. I had to put downspout extenders in to get the rainwater away from the house foundation.

Crandall did a very good job to install a new roof on my elevated Victorian, equivalent to two stories high. The foreman attached my weather vane and finial to the roof peak. Crandall made repairs to the roof framing, molding, and soffit. This was a big job, around $30K, and it was money well spent. No leaks, no lost shingles. If not for the rain gutter, this would have been a 5-star rating.

Crandall Roofing recently completed a standing seam metal roof on our home. The roof looks great! Daniel was wonderful to work with from start to finish as was the crew. Easy to communicate any concerns and responsive. The workers were diligent, on time and available to answer questions if needed. They cleaned up every afternoon and made the project as painless as possible. Time will tell how the roof holds up, but for now we are very pleased. Would recommend.

Anyone who wants a new roof for their house should definitely contact Crandall roofing in Santa Rosa. They did a superb job on my 31-year old! They were easy to work with, priced very competitively, cleaned up the site immaculately, and consulted with me every step of the way. I feel like I really lucked out in finding Crandall!

Anytime I use them they are GREAT! In one case a chain came loose that they had installed months before in the drain/gutter and they sent TWO guys out the next day and spent hours fixing it, charged me NOTHING! It is just so great to have this level of quality and honesty in a construction business. No reason to use any other roofer ever!

It was a pleasure dealing with Crandall Roofing. Daniel G. was the estimator and project leader. He's very knowledgeable, professional, honest, courteous and friendly. He ensured all loops got closed, excellent communication skills!

At no time did we feel pressured to buy specific items or options, he presented the information well and let us make the decision. The options he suggested seemed well justified to enhance our roof and glad he suggested them.

Tony was the foreman and he and his workers were very efficient, we were surprised how quickly the old roof was removed and replaced over two days. They cleaned up the area, so we couldn't tell they were there, except for seeing the new roof. Our roof was 29 years old, we chose the Hickory color and are very pleased with its rich red/brown hues, the roof looks great!

Gaby and Christine (office employees) were equally courteous and friendly, whenever I had to speak to them for the various appointments in the process. Their wonderful follow-thru and call backs were greatly appreciated.

Selected Crandall after reviewing 3 bids for our new cement tile roof.
liked the fact that they were local, source tile made in California and had been very responsive to repair of our old roof.
Jack was great throughout the process. Provided the bid and kept me up to date on the process and timing. Augustine led the install crew and they were fantastic. Started every day at 7:30am and cleaned up at the end of each day. Took a total of 5 days for tear off and replace.
in this day and age it is so nice to deal with a company that does what it says.
Kudos to Jack, Augustine, Gabby and the crew at Crandall. Highly recommended!
